  1. I'm assuming QA runs through any instance that gets a change for patches. Did this not happen for D7? Does someone have straight up have downs? How can you just let an instance be completely broken?
  2. My guildie always REs them and gives the RE stuff right back, so not really sure what's up with that then. *Unless you're talking about learning blue or epics, which you don't, but you should RE for the mats
  3. Actually, Artificers can RE augments.
  4. Do you have plans to make it easier to take down healers in PvP? As is, healers can survive for nearly forever in PvP unless you outnumber them and with 2-3 healers in an arena staying together it's basically impossible to kill that group
  5. http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#400MsrbdRkRMZbI0MoMZh.1 Thoughts? Interrogation Probe seems really good for finishing people off and keeping them in your range, plus does decent damage. The AoE abilities makes them bursty in PvP, but losing 30% crit damage kinda hurts. Thoughts?
  6. Not even asking for PURE healers, just put some people in who have heal spells in their spellbook. Mercernary here, Operative there. I will yell at the player when he refuses to heal me when I'm getting attacked and he's standing there jerking off
  7. Why is the queuing system not smart enough to find 1 healer and put them into every WZ? Why do I get 3 marauders, 3 juggs, and 2 snipers in a group? Why do you have a system that has the same IQ as an unborn child?
  8. I didn't see this in any replies or your main post, but I noticed that you mention if someone undercuts you, it's easier to just cancel and repost. I am assuming you come from a WoW gold making background, so I would agree with you in WoW it's better to do that, because often times the deposit required is minimal. However, in this game I've noticed the deposit is HUGE for almost all items. I don't have exact % of the total prices, but I often times just let my ship parts stay up indefinitely because it's not worth losing those 1k creds from cancelling, so instead I will just put up another auction of the same exact item, undercutting the guy. This often times leads to a war, which you will win if you have more items than the other person. Try it out, and see if you agree
  9. I would be fine with all interrupts locking out a tree, it really makes sense. Luckily, I'm a sniper and I could care less about interrupts
  10. That's the problem, they're all the wrong one to kick, because they can just use a different one. Let's look at Inquis: 1. Dark Heal (shorter cast, smaller heal) 2. Dark Infusion (longer cast, bigger heal) 3. Innervate (instant, so after interrupting a casted heal, they can still use) 4. Resurgence (same as Innervate) 5. Revivification (AoE heal, not huge, but can help all people in the AoE, obv) So 1, 2, and 5, are interruptable and if you interrupt any of them, they can just use the other. Not enough? Ok, Ops time 1. Kolto Infusion (small short heal) 2. Kolto Probe (instant, but could be used after interrupt) 3. Recuperative Nanotech (instant, but could be used after interrupt) 4. Surgical Probe (instant, but can be used after interrupt) 5. Kolto Injection (bigger short heal) 6. Diagnostic Scan (instant, but can be used after interrupt) Point is: Interrupting a heal really doesn't do too much at this point. If you're fighting a healer 1v1 as a pure damage class, you don't gain too much from interrupting one of their spells, because they can just cast another. Overtime, you will more than likely win that fight, but the fact that they can heal all over you is annoying and needs to be looked at.
  11. Interrupting a healing spell should block any and all heals from being cast for that 4-5s duration. As it is now, a healer can still be extremely effective even after being interrupted because each healer has 3-4 different heals that all pretty awesome. As it is now, healers just run into the open and can free cast all day without any fear of being interrupted. If they get interrupted, so what? Onto the next spell. Now imagine trying to kill a good healer without tree like interrupts. Takes more than 1 person almost 100% of the time.
  12. I know you said this, but there is most definitely a market for Spaceship Upgrades, at least on my server. I sell only Grade 2 and Grade 4 atm, working to the epic ones, but I sell the Grade 2's for about 9k on average per and Grade 4's for about 20k on average per. Each piece costs me around 1.5k-2k to make, maybe less, so that's pretty good income. However, since I have that market on lock I'd love to see what others are selling
  13. Yes, you can learn all recipes on one character. I made a post about this last night as well, but it was answered. Basically, for each blue there are 5 epics, so you CAN learn all 5 from that one blue, it just takes some time. I proved this last night and I have learned the Vehemence (sp?) and Commander Covert-Op Sniper from the Overkill blue one.
  14. I've been crafting epic sniper rifles, hoping people will buy them. I have no hopes for the level 49 ones, but I am trying to RE for the mid range ones like 21, 31, 41, etc because around that point you need upgrades. I will soon venture into the other weapons like pistols and blaster rifles, but it's definitely a huge mat sink and I've yet to sell one sniper for a huge profit.
  15. Ok, so I have Armstech 400, and I have been trying to find this out, but recently ran into a lack of mats on the GTN to fully test it. I am trying to see if you can learn multiple epics from a blue craft, by REing the Blue multiple times. For example: I have the Blue Overkill Level 41 Sniper, which is +Power (Overkill). I finally got an epic Sniper from this craft by REing it, and I learned the "Vehemence Overkill Sniper", which is +Power and +Alacrity. Now, my question is: Once I have learned the Vehemence Overkill Sniper, can I continue to RE the Blue Sniper Rifle (which is Overkill) and learn other epic snipers that are under Overkill? For example, can I RE it and learn the Expert Overkill Sniper? This would be +Surge and +Power. Or can a crafter only learn ONE of the epics from the blue version? If anyone has proof you can get more than 1 epic pattern of the same level item, as described above, please let me know. For the information for crafting, I got them from: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=45866
  16. Main is level 42, has 620k. My alt is 20 and has 250k, a large majority of it from Cybertech. Go to the GTN and look at the Spaceship Upgrade drop down and then think about what you've said here today.
  17. I've gotten 10+ schematics from missions and I'm only around 120~ skill. However, my main is Armstech which is why I picked it up on my alt, because you need the blue/epic metals/compounds for the weapons.
  18. 1. Fixed your sentences and words. 2. It was nerfed quite a bit, but it's not the end of the world. The missions do pull a positive CPM (Credits per minute) overall, but sometimes your crew will fail, or the lockbox WILL result in less credits than the cost of the actual mission. However, like I said, overall it does net in overall gain. 3. Remember to slice the nodes while questing! These literally are free credits and once you get past level 30, you get into the level 4 lockbox range where you get a minimum of 700 credits per lockbox.
  19. Prices for these missions is only going to go up. I see it capping around 30k, and I don't post unless it's selling for more than 15k. The scavenging ones give you 25+ of each piece from that tier, and the level 6 compounds sell on the GTN for 400~ credits each, so 50x400 at the bare minimum is worth it, because sometimes they can return over 50 of each.
  20. That's not a solution to DMG Meters. What if the fight has adds and all the DPS is doing is AOEING when the raid needs to focus on the raid boss? What if a healer is just spamming heals on someone who is full the entire time? What abilities gave that person their most damage? Lowest? Median? How much uptime did they have on their dots? How DID the tank die?! I can do this all day.
  21. Since I know CMs are reading this thread, I suggest you remove the personal attacks in the user's first post. I stated facts that proved the OP was incorrect (by a wide margin) and called him a fool. I didn't use much more vulgar language, but the OP has a sentence in his original post saying: "Of course, this is all a pipe dream as many forum goers are lucky to complete a sentence correctly, but I will continue to dream because this fantasy land of people using their brains to achieve something is a very shiny place." So, I can't call someone a fool but the OP can say everyone who disagrees with him is 1) Brain dead 2) He is the only one capable of playing a game without the use of Addons and 3) Forum goers can't complete a sentence correctly. Again, remove this from his post or close the thread. If you punish some people you must punish them all, we wouldn't want to show favoritism now would we? Thanks
  22. Ok, I'll try again. If you try to half heal and half dps as a Sith Inquisitor in a raid, you're getting kicked. Got any other ****** excuses to explain why you're so brain dead? Or do you just want other people not to know how brain dead you are in the game as well?
  23. This right is here is why you're retarded. Let me guess, you played a Shadow Priest who tried to talent half disc and half shadow and play hybrid. You bring HEALERS to heal, not DPS. If a DPS can keep themselves alive, that's great, but it's not required to be a DPS raider. If a DPS ever said "but I did some healing to the tank too!" I'm going to kick them, or look at the damage meters and see how much they actually healed. Oh wait, you don't want addons so the raid leader will look at you and say no one prove that, so you are just being a **** DPS. Also, a game that has 10m+ subscribers is in means a fail of a game, but NT.
