  1. I would have to agree, KOTFE was advertised to make the game more casual friendly and less grindy. With this patch you either troll general chat looking for group mates, wait around in group finder que until you find someone to do the content with or you take a break from the game until the ****** that thought this was a good idea comes to their sense and realizes that a 25% reduction was warranted not a 60-70% butchering.
  2. Yes, while this patch is a pain in the astrum, it does not rise to the level of the NGE. I was there, I was one of only about a dozen players on Naritus. that even logged in the first ten days after that patch. Hell most of us cruised mustafar together. The NGE did a lot worse then this. If I remember correctly it took them several months to fix the armor less Jedi issue. among a very large list of other things they overlooked in their rapid and untested revamp of the entire game. This patch will not rise to the level of 200,000 /unsub in a single day. Hell if it did Bioware would probably reverse the patch lol.
  3. If someone chooses to stand there and let the comp do the work it isn't your place or mine to tell them differently. I personally don't do that I'm always in the fight sometimes my comp out performed me sometimes it didn't. That doesn't mean I have the right to say that the casual player who wants his comp to pull more of the load is wrong and my way is right. Exactly right. but isn't this just a representation of what happens in real life. where small vocal minorities, want to dictate to the majority. History has shown time and time again that it never works out well in real life either.
  4. And yet the Dev teams generally ignore the opinions of the casual players.
  5. You don't seem to get it, We all knew the Nerf was coming, but its the severity, the lack of testing on PTR. All this could have been avoided by putting the changes on the PTR for a few weeks and taking the time to find a proper balance instead of the unilateral extreme change we all expected. What is the point of the PTR if they are not going to use it. Now those of us paying customers have to put up with this mistake, while they slowly fix it. Once again a few weeks on the PTR and this could have been avoided.
  6. A mistake that was completely avoidable by putting the changes on PTR for a few weeks. Might as well remove that server if they are not going to make use of it for its intended purpose. I think that that is the most irritating thing about the patch, a few weeks of testing could have avoided all of this.
  7. OP companions can be made a legacy option like all other legacy choices or it can be a reward applied to one companion for a player reaching legendary status. From a business standpoint. I would go with the legacy option, because they can charge you cartel coins to reclaim what they just took away from you.
  8. Agreed, I pay 3 months at a time, just got billed last week, so ill be testing until Feb, I would say they have until then to fix this mess, But with all the unhappy people quitting there wont be any motivation for them to actually fix this.
  9. Well with the mixed opinions and anger going around. why not a thread for all those who are leaving over these unpopular changes. Post here if you are quitting, leaving. The last time i made a post similar to this back in late 2005. the replies numbered in the thousands. fortunately while this patch is creating a lot of anger, it does not meet the severity of that infamous change.
  10. Nah when you don't care anymore, Why bother with testing or player feedback. Piss everyone off, Lose subs and wait for the accountants to make decisions.
  11. Exactly right, I am starting to wonder if former SWG decision makers now work for Bioware. it does seem they are following down the same path. Unfortunately for me, my sub just re-upped for 3 months before the nerf news broke, so they have 90 days to fix their F**k up before I consider leaving.
  12. They no longer care about feedback or testing, decide a change push it live. if they lose people they lose people. Reminds me of another SW MMO, i used to play. Although they haven't gotten quite that bad YET!!!!!!
  13. Maybe your shouldn't post until you have actually tested everything. I am hearing mixed reviews.
  14. Just over a mile from me, you know sometimes its very tempting to give feedback in person.
  15. I myself find this funny because it happens in every MMO and makes absolutely no sense. the outcome is usually profit loss. there has to be a special tax write off for this, considering just about every game company does the same thing.
  16. The Companions revolted, they are tired of being messed with.
  17. I have the same question. I am betting that either you wont be able to, or it will be quite a bit more difficult to do so. I am betting there will be mixed results. the Heroics on the lower end will be manageable, The heroics on the higher end will not.
  18. . It seems to be the curse of every MMO out there. They listen to the small minority of whiners and elitists. who feel the game belongs to them. every game follows the same course, The end result will be exactly as stated above, if people can no longer do the content without wasting time begging for assistance. they will leave them game.
  19. Play the game or leave the game. No point in complaining here, let your money do your talking.
  20. So return to Warcraft where you are obviously happy, Bye.
