no need to be a dick. Eric wants feedback, and he has to expect it's not all going to be constructive as a lot of people are disappointed. he needs to know how the community is feeling about this in general, as well as the more specific things he has asked for.

No point arguing about it any more. its done. For that minority who wanted a 'challenging' game... well done, you got your wish. but sadly it will come with an enormous cost. this is an NGE event. mass loss of customers, empty servers, eventual game shutdown. /clap

so I'm in a heroic +2 star fortress. mix of 208 and 216 gear, 72K health for me and 69K health for Ashara I'm a sith assassin tank with Ashara in Heal mode I get through first floor, albeit slower than before but not by too much. I can complete the first champion on ground floor but when I get to the second floor Knight of Kazul (only an elite) he hands me my butt every single time. My healer just can't keep up with the damage. I used all my cc, she still couldn't keep up. I also tried her in tank and damage modes, didn't stand a chance. died even quicker. I also tried Treek whose healing figures are better, but the coolldown is so high on her skills she lost me quicker than Ashara. waste of money there then. So, as I see it, all decent solo content is pretty much removed from game. you need to group now. unless you are in full 220 gear and a 50 char I just don't see how this can be done. NGE anyone?

I just don't understand his logic. he pulls out a level 1 companion, kills some stuff and declares that the patch has fixed everything and we can solo 'everything that was intended to be solo'd'? I'm sure I read the heroic +2 was intended for player and companion... it will be interesting to see if we can still do it, or whether we'll need to be geared through the roof again with a level 50 companion and have the right build

what do you mean by that? have you completed a solo star fortress with a level 1 companion?

don't be ridiculous, the grind for perfect gear is never ending if you want to do any of the decent content. then a patch, levels go up, new gear introduced... start again!

Casual gamer - big job - big family = not much time in version 4 you delivered a casual gamers dream. I ran heroics, completed flashpoints, died a few times, finally felt that I deserved to hold a lightsaber rather than cowering in the corner in comparison to the full time keyboard jockeys with their epic gear and condescending requests ("only join my op if you are fully geared up and know when the f you're doing"). you made a game I loved again... you provided entertainment that made me rush home from work to play... I'll give you the benefit of the doubt... I'll try how it is now with the reduced companion stats and abilities, but rest assured, you had it right the first time. For one glorious month, you had it right...
