  1. Oh dear god no. The CU wouldn't have been so bad had they just completed it. But dear god the NGE. I was an armoress Jedi for months. couldn't do jack without a dedicated doc. 7.0 is nothing compared to the NGE. you will never find a more wretched group of scum and villainy than the Devs that brought us the NGE. Those were truly the Dark times of the empire. Darth Julio Torres will be long remembered by SWG Vets. NGE Quick easy steps to ruin your game and cancel it forever.
  2. Couldn't agree with you more lol, She had the best idea in the entire thread. nice sig
  3. Unfortunatly that part seems to be all to common in today's world. I blame social media, its a pure cancer on civil discourse.
  4. Love your signature 6.0 - "Play the way you want." 7.0 - "You will own nothing and you will be unhappy." Makes you wonder if the WEF is running SWTOR lol.
  5. you know instead of arguing lets be real. Any effective solution should have been implemented years ago. I make all my creds from crafting. The only time i sell cartel market items is when i get them from packs. It took me years time to build up the creds to craft at the level i can currently craft at. Fifty percent of my sale prices are reinvested into resources. I still have 6800 legendary embers. lol Raising the cap on the GTN will make things worse and promote credit buying. Lowering the limit will be unpopular. This game is in its sunset phase. If it wasn't 7.0 would have been a real expansion and not the content patch called an expansion that it truly is. They will not implement anything we are discussing here. The only thing they would likely add would be a WoW style token for creds scam, because that benefits their profits and not the players or the economy. Honestly Mercielaga's suggestion is the best one ive seen on here.
  6. You know i understand what kills games. and what your suggesting is a game killer. The way the GTN is currently is doing that just fine. I'm looking for a way to bring prices down into a reasonable range to benefit everyone not just sellers, Inflation in any real world scenario both the empire and the republic would have collapsed under the current level of inflation. This war would be over. you want credit sinks? Higher repair costs Breakable gear and mounts like SWG Tracking down all gold seller accounts and deleting their funds/accounts.
  7. illgot are you a gold seller lol. Raising the GTN cap only allows for people to sell crap at even more insane prices. Result players have to run off to the gold sellers and purchase credits to buy off the GTN. So why shouldn't everything on the cartel market be bound to legacy. That way Bioware gets all the profits instead of the gold sellers. Not all players in this game are running around with billions of credits. I quite imagine that just like in the real world the percentage is pretty low. Even at my suggested 100 million Cap. That is still far to many credits for the majority of players without either selling cartel market items or buying credits. If they are trying to buy something immediately, which route do you think they are going to go? By lowering the GTN cap and forcing the max price people can sell things for prices work themselves out through competition and undercutting. With the cap down to 100 million, prices are forced into a more reasonable range. you want to sell for more than 100 mil, that what the sale channel is for You want a good credit sink Stronghold versions of the guild ships that cost just as much to unlock, or something similar.
  8. [quote=illgot;10009232 Increase the GTN cap to 100 billion credits Increase the amount players can hold to 100 billion credits Credits exceeding the new player caps will be mailed back to the players or deposited in the legacy bank instead of being deleted as they currently are Remove the 'Tax Evasion' guild buff until inflation is greatly reduced . Personally When i see people asking for the GTN cap to be raised, my first assumption is that you are likely a credit seller. we absolutely do not need the cap raised to make prices on the GTN more ridiculous than they are now. I would rather see all Cartel market items bound to legacy before that happens. I am one of the multi billionaire crafter's on my server primarily on my cybertechs and artificers. during 6.0 i unlocked all 306 recipes in every crafting class on 1 character per profession and have alts at 700 as parts makers. I primarily use my cybertech and artificer and can produce about 3500-4000 parts per hour. I have probably sold around 4000 pieces of 306 since august, when i returned from a break from the game to visit WoW classic and BC. When i returned a lot of 306 prices were in the 60 to 150 mil range. That is insane, after I jumped back in prices ranged from 18 to 36 million. even at those prices your still talking a billion credits to outfit a character. raising the price cap on the GTN only allows for more insane pricing, and that only helps people who are actively using this game to make real world money by selling their credits online. I am all for reducing the price cap on the GTN to 100 million credits. still flexible enough that players can still make tons of credits. but allowing more competition in price undercutting to make items across the board more affordable for all players. If they raise the price cap on the GTN, SWTOR might as well institute the WoW token system as well. Better Bioware gets the profits from selling tokens/credits, than the gold sellers. looking at the inflation in this game if you want to drain the credits. start making everyone pay for the fuel for their fighters, personal starships and guild ships. if your on Starforge and need something crafted drop me a line.
  9. you could also add price caps to the GTN, The price cap would be based on the Level or tier of the item. Or easier still just lower the maximum amount you can list an item for from 1 billion down to 100 million
  10. hell why not add yearly flat income tax with a scalable rate based on your wealth 10% for the players with little creds upto 40% for the mega billionaires.
  11. It likely will return six months from now in the crafting update. They seem to be following WoWs path for the last five or six years. Release an expac, make people grind there butts off endlessly in the beginning. Then about half way through the expac, add something that allows everyone else to catch up without the grind. I also agree the gearing in 6.0 was nearly perfect.
  12. That is not necessary, i have no idea when the ubisoft MMO is slated to release. My first guess is that swtor will be shut down by late 2023. If history repeats itself and this game last until the new MMO is ready. SWTOR will shutdown 5 days before release, Just like SWG shutdown 5 days before release of SWTOR.
  13. Perfectly said That's the problem with cutting them slack Every time you do, they keep repeating the same things over and over again.
  14. "I'm sorry, what exactly is there for me to do now?"" Decorate your strongholds While i do play the content, I am also one of the primary cybertech's and Artificers on my server. So outside of repeating the same content over and over. For however long we have to wait until crafting gets put in (I am guessing may or June) there's not much else to do.
