  1. Yeah, Full 31 TK is not a great PVP spec. Its the casting times that kill you. If you dont use the force wave stun (it does work, it just breaks after 2 sec if they take any damage, including dots, or of course if they pop CC breaker) or force stun, then you have to force speed to get distance. Try a 21/20 hybrid, or ever 23/18 hybrid. You will be much happier. You dont use any TK ability till you have the instant cast proc from PoM off of TK Throw spam.
  2. The alacrity benefit is good if full seer spec'd because it lets you get out the spells with cast times more often. That being said, crit doesnt hurt, but remember there is a dimenishing return on crit change, around 30 or 35? not sure which
  3. Nod, I can see the benefit of Sever. Not arguing it, especially if it doesnt touch resolve (bug?) I just do not see the damage from bal, which takes 8, 18, 21 sec to impact, being worth the loss of instant cast TK wave/mind crush ever TK Throw or every other. Ie, the hybrid spec allows me to pop a crush, project, and FiB all in the space of 3 gcd hitting for 5k+ (depending on crits is + amount)
  4. Fantastic numbers. Now if they could just tick faster. The problem with bal is the 18 sec of sever, 21 sec of mind, and 8 sec of crush seldom get to run their course before you are long dead. But thanks very much for doing the hard number run.
  5. I have all champion gear, 11.96% expertise values, and do just fine with hybrid spec. And I guarentee it burns someone down faster than 31 balance, and MORE importantly, with the force wave stun and the collapsing bubble stun from TK and the instant force lift from balance has a TON more survivability than pure 31 balance. But you go on assuming everyone is scrubs, rather than presenting intelligent data (tooltips you dont like? give better data) or other arguements, calling people names is much easier. Oh, and it is rarely 1v1 in pvp. Which is why the survivability of the hybrid spec I mention above matters so much more.
  6. Seriously, all that spec does is assist others in killing. Otherwise compares with tk heavy bal spec, they die much faster. Seriously.

  9. I really love 21/20 or 23/18 tk/bal, gives you lots of survivability and burst. I really can't see 13/28, this doesn't seem much better than 31 bal. For those of you saying bal is best pvp spec, please enlighten me. Seriously, the dps you put out is so small unless you are just doting the other team for scoreboard stats, but to me, when I try it out, you just can't take people down fast enough with 31 bal, nor as I see it, 13/28 Share the build of 13/28?
  10. It is silly that noone will pvp with a 31 pt TK or Bal spec. Or if they do, they dont for long. Issues: Balance - Just no survivability. The heals from dot crits? a Joke, 140-150 every once in a while, even if it was every second, it does nothing to mitigate the damage we are taking. The damage done is a joke as well: Weaken Mind - 1653 over 21 sec Sever Force - 1631 over 18 sec Mind Crush - 1042 instant, 1450 over 8 sec (assuming max hits) FiB -1307 up to 3 targets, heals for 91 per taret hit. TK Throw - 2735 over 2.91 sec, no heal from i. Come on, there is not even any long term damage there besides spamming tk throw. The problem with TK tree is it all requires you to stop to cast. And even then, the damage numbers dont come close to what we get hit by heavy armor wearing guys. When a guy gets to wear heavy armor, and hit for 3-4k a hit, thats silly. Don't get me wrong, I love being a sage, even if we cant turtle for crap as a 31pt seer spec. But we are supposed to be glass cannons I think? Yet only the glass part seems present. Yes, I can put up big numbers in a wz, but if I dont have a guard on me, then its just dead anytime i get any sort of attention. If it is 1 on 1, maybe I can cycle CC enough to kill him, in fact often can, but only as a hybrid spec. So my point being, maybe make the 31pt abilities something worth having.
  11. Our problem (and I speak from a Sage perspective, but its all the same) is we cannot turtle at all. BH turtle awesome, and ia can move while healing. We have to use CC to get clear then heal standing still for the most part.

  13. And while 13/28 might be more dps technically, its MUCH less survivability.
  14. Its a blast, till you encounter the team that prioritizes sages cause they know our danger and because we are squishy. If they get you cc'locked its over, or if your force speed and bubble are down. Otherwise you speed, bubble, turn and begin again. As far as the Op knockdown, yeah it sucks, but the cc breaker (if up of course) does let you begin casting again before you are even up, stun or wave, mow him down, really surprises them.
  15. Nod. Without guard, without heavy armor, without protection, full seer spec is super squishy dead. Just too easy to interrupt, hit, stun, hit, lift, hit. Dead seer (or sorc equiv)
  16. To answer the OP.... No, our heals are in no way OP. We are in light armor and have no insta-cast heal. Our heals require cast times and standing still save for Rejuv which wont out heal an ungeared level 50, much less a geared one. We are good healers if protected, if at range, and if we run the INSTANT we draw attention. Otherwise its knockdown, beat up, cc, interrupt, dead seer.
  17. Guarded 500 expertise trooper/bh healers are invincible. Seer healers are very squishy and taste good with catsup.
  18. 0/23/18 I find to be better than 0/13/28. It gives you a lot of the nice parts of TK tree, but I never use any of the abiliies in it unless PoM lets me insta cast them. Still, force wave root and bubble collapse stun adds SO MUCH to your survivability in pvp. Plus telekinetic effusion makes the world go round, I have to work very very hard to run out of force, add in the -10s on force speed, its a good life charlie brown.
  19. I have not tested it, but the +6 sec Weaken mind and +2 sec mind crush... Does that stretch out existing damage for more time, or make it tick for same damage longer? The tooltip updates to the longer duration (21 sec for Weaken) so i use the weaken one because its great for cap prevention and of course the accelrated throw spec.

  21. If you do the marriage proposal thing, you get a follow on letter that she wants to "come out" and tell the council and everyone. No follow on to that though.
  22. What should have happened is that it lasts a minute and plays from 10 different clips. Needed expansion, not ...this.
  23. I HOPE it was just an oversight and the droids number in the database got shifted one to the right or something. But now it just spawns this pet for 30 sec that follows you, pointless and depressing. The only one only played 2 or 3 songs, and just for 30 sec, but it was "Fun"

  25. Why did they change the RAD? I loved that little thing, if anything it sucked his music only played for 30 seconds and he needed a few more clips to play. But now he just follows you around, for 30 seconds. Thats it. And doesnt even look the same. So sad
