  1. Oh, and to the OP... If you aren't taking resplendance then trance isn't worth it since any class does more dps than its hps, it becomes some to top someone off.
  2. I still find, even in full champ gear, that we cannot turtle to save our lives, literally. If you are playing anyone decent, they will stun, interrupt, and kill. The 3k hits are just too much, and if two people get on you it's even worse. Sure you have a chance if you can pop breaker, force speed and a shield, but if those are on cd, then again, toast. We lack instant heal and heavy armor and it shows.
  3. TK Throw, PoM comes up, Project->Mind->FiB = 5-6k damage, maybe more if you get lucky double project and are using an overload stim and an adrenal stim. Not consistantly like the burst classes, but often enough to be nice and if a sage gets any healing, or ignored, he will put up 300-400k in wz's, assuming he has targets to kill (this is all at 50 of course)
  4. This is my spec for facemelting at 50. Your milage may vary, but I almost never do below 200k with this spec, and if healed or guarded at all 360k is the norm. 0/25/16 http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#600ZccMRdRruZcMcRs0z.1 Though heavier in the TK tree, I never use an ability there unless PoM lets it instacast. So the general flow for max dps is Throw till POM, pop Overload and force potency, then tk wave, project, force in balance. If you get a double project you are looking at over 6k damage in that sequence. Plus you flow right back into another throw. The force wave and collapsing shield stuns are nice as well. I am still not sold on tremors though, if i steal a point there and one back from blackout, i could go with the instant cast lift with 2 sec stun
  5. Healer or not i use Nadia for most things. If its a really tough fight, Ill switch to Ire or Q well geared just to take the beating.
  6. There is no end game economy and as things stand right now the only think to spend credits on end game is respecing. All of the drops in Ops and hard flashpoints are BoP. And the tier 2 pvp gear is better than anything crafted.
  7. I remember when 3 hours a day wasnt considered casual, lets face it, thats 21 hours a week or a part time job. Now thats a lightweight guy who if he is in your guild doesnt have enough time for a good raid.
  8. At 7 days played you are well on the way to 4 hrs/ lvl, do the math. Did I or others do all the side and bonus quests on each planet? Nope because we out leveled them by adding in flashpoint repeats and lots of war zone pvp. Do we didn't space bar it, we just enjoyed the hell out of it,
  9. I love war zones. I am excited for the upcoming changes to Ilum in 1.1, even though we are outnumbered by 50's on my server 75 to 23 at prime time, which means Ilum might be a steamroll. I enjoy taking down world bosses and hard mode flashpoints. And mostly, I love the fact I have 7 more classes to go cause if Bioware tells a story with them like they did with my Counselor, I am excited about that.
  10. My math isn't wrong, perhaps my estimate of how long it takes to get to 50. But with first characters or a new server with no 50's to assist, we have seen 2.8 hrs/lvl to 4.2 hrs/ lvl. I ask each of my players what their /played time is when they hit 50
  11. 6-14 hrs a day is playing a lot. Hitting 50 in 2.5 hrs/lvl or less is rushing. Hell, given that Biowares said 200 hrs per class I'd even give you anything faster than 3.8 hrs/lvl as rushing. There is a difference between rushing and playing a lot. What do you think the reaction would be if you could only log n for 3 hours a day max? That is the only way you prevent folks from putting in 8 or more hours per day. Even people who take 2 months to hit 50 I bet will be at the 4 hrs per level rate, just having logged in fewer hours per day, and maybe, just maybe, in two months they will have more to do at that point, but it isn't looking too much like it.
  12. Many of you say that people are rushing to 50, calling them spacerbarers saying they skip all the story. This simply is not true. In my guild on Ven Zallow, we have people who put in a lot of hours, but that is different than "rushing to 50". Our fastest player did it in 2.8 hrs/lvl as judged by the /played command. Most of us are at 3.8 to 4.2 hrs/lvl. We put in a lot of time, but spent Biowares estimated 200 hours for a class. I loved the counselor story, and I am now embarked on a scoundrel story. I figure I have another 6 classes to go. That's me, but I can appreciate those who only want one character saying they have nothing to do. Now maybe you can blame them for putting in 6-14 hours a day, but they aren't rushing, if anything the game is engaging them fully. So maybe give more consideration to the thought that when they say there is no end game economy, or that when you have run the hard mode flashpoints, two Ops that are available, and are valor 60 por close to it that they feel there is not much left to them that you too might soon be at their point,
  13. Drives me nuts that at least on my server I don't get the protection it seems their healers get. But more so, it definitely feels like we cannot turtle like the scoundrel and trooper can do. Our lack of armor is one thing but also our lack of instant heals.
  14. Yep I am finding that my "purpose" in wz's more and more, the meatshield, who knew? Seriously, I can get 4 or 5 of them focused on beating me down, and i do it away from teh objective. They can ignore me, but then they die, not fast, but annoyingly. We arent burst killers, but we are hella annoying killers, you ignore me for 6 seconds and you are heading to the respawn. My problem is the other idiots on my PUG (I know, my fault for pugging, but sometimes you do) dont take advantage of it.
  15. Works great in pve as well, both solo and in raids. Your mileage may vary, but for me its a great all around spec. The ability to quickly backup heal has saved our ops/world boss raids more than once.

This is a spec I have settled into lately after spending 99800 credits to flop back and forthe between 31 heal, 31 bal, 31 tk, and the various other hybrid builds. http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#600GzrRZfc0MzZcMcRszz.1 So this gives me the following ability: From Healing: 3% crit chance 8% extra self heal Rejuv/Conv->1.4 sec Deliverance From TK: Force, force cost reduct, 6% extra damage tk wave and mind crush And of course in balance: Constant TT, PoM for instant TK wave, FiB nuke. To me, this has felt MUCH more survivable than other hybrid builds due to the quick rejuv->deliverance combo. Also, being able to TT, then Project, FiB, TK Wave is a great burst damage. Not in wz's im a great dps for raids/ops, and provide off heals during world boss fights and others. Your milage may vary, but till they give me a dual spec item, this works great.
  17. Have you noticed this? Every since I put on the force mystica champion robes, its like I am a beacon for a beatdown. They dont even have to coordinate focus fire, they just automatically all target the large robed figure. Its nuts. Have you noticed getting targeted due to the robes? Im not even heal spec'd and I still get ff down. (before others)

  19. If so, whats your spec and which comp are you using? I can take a number of the encounters, but some just come with too many silvers and a gold.
  20. So we made our first run on the Eternity Vault tonight. We made it past the first boss, but when we got to the Balrog (come on, tell me you dont think of it like that) when we wiped and respawned, EVERYTIME we would die again. Some would die after the speeder ride back to him, some out in the fleet. At the final time when we had to break, we died at the shuttle pad back to the fleet. Seriously, full health, no icons on us, suddenly just fall over dead with no message. What gives?
  21. No, because my preorder was black with yellow glow, which is neither of those colors. So not happy with a preorder perk thats viable for about 10 levels.
  22. Nod, Im earning legacy experience just fine, but i do like my story and rp and background, and do not want to miss out on something just because I chose to make my alt before the system was online. I will NOT remake a class Ive already done. I love the storys, but do not want to repeat them.
  23. The artificer cannot make the preorder colors unless I am mistaken.
  24. I liked my preorder crystal color, so sue me, but of course Im not going to sacrifice a ton of stats to keep it. Please make either the color of a blaster/blade its own mod slot, or allow us to use the preorder vendor to get upgraded versions as we level up
