So what about the people currently unable to play your game because of the current UI? Why is there no mention of a rollback so these people can go back to playing? Usually when people suddenly are unable to play a game, they won't pay for it. This still doesn't offer any solution for those people. All I got from this post is "Eventually we'll fix it". Eventually is never good enough for people who legitimately cannot play for any real period of time anymore. I don't understand why a simple rollback can't be performed for now... The above is what I posted in the poll thread and feel like I should repost it here

I also cannot fathom why it seems perfectly okay to BioWare and EA that people seriously can no longer play their game, whereas 5 days ago they could. I have no idea how to any sane mind, that's alright and people can just deal with it. I hope this isn't the CS we can expect throughout the life of this game...

Basically yeah. My AMD is a beast of a processor for 6-cores and runs so frosty it's sinful. I paid less than I would have for it's Intel counterpart and get some amazing performance out of it!
-
AMD tends to run cooler than an equal Intel from what I've seen. Otherwise processor choice is merely a matter of preference. I don't care for Intels myself, and lean towards AMD much much much more.
-
For most games to date you only really need a quad core processor. 6-coreif you just want it to be better all around and if you do some hefty video/photo editing with higher end programs. Honestly, if all you're going to do with it is game, there's no need to get the new 8-core processor, lone for bragging rights.

This is the rig I personally built for gaming (with this game in mind mostly), and it makes me extremely happy without going insanely overboard, but still one hell of a beast: Processor: AMD Phenom II X6 1100T Heatsink/Fan: COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 Plus Mobo: ASUS M4A89TD PRO RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Power Supply: CORSAIR Enthusiast Series 650TX SSD: OCZ Vertex 2 120GB HDD: Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB 7200 RPM SATA 6.0Gb/s GFX: nVidia GeForce GTX 550Ti Case: Antec Nine Hundred Mouse: RAZER Naga Keyboard: Logitech 510 I love it. Ees my baby.

This game was 100% fine, until I came and read the forums.

Tatooine makes me want to punch Sand in the face
Rhila replied to Gilanden's topic in General Discussion
So I was taken way out into the desert of Tatooine the other night. I was shown what at first was the BEST THING EVER. Then I saw that the giant-hole-of-doom monster doesn't actually move. Or actually eat you. Or do anything really. Which is also why I refuse to call it by it's true name, because if it lived up to its true name....IT WOULD MOVE AND EAT YOU ALIVE. I now hate Tatooine. -
Do you go up to lactose intolerant people, shove milk in their face and yell, "TOUGHEN UP!"? Cause that's what you just did to people that have different visual accuities than you do. Insensitive meanie-head.

[HOWTO - RAMDRIVE] Increasing SWTOR System Performance

Did you not disabling caching on the SSD? You really should as caching on it can actually cause problems, especially later down the road. You need to minimize all the background writes to your OS drive as much as possible if it happens to be an SSD. All those mini writes to cache can be like throwing gas on a fire if you're having drive performance issues. -
Something. I'd like to be able to play this weekend without my head hurting and my eyes hurting. What really burns me right now is I had finally found a class I can't get enough of, was leveling WITH someone so it was even more entertaining, and it's like they ripped it away from me yesterday. WWWHHYYYYY. Hotfix aannnnddd go.

Hey BioWare, It's not a matter of taste here. The real issue at hand is that it is physically making people ill (be it headache, eyeball ache, and nausea), whereas this did NOT happen before your new UI change. The clear cause is the UI that we need to be able to either keep with your new, rather inane changes, or revert back to the original UI. The fact that your game now makes people ill and unable to play is terrible. The fact that it has not been hotfixed when there is such an uproar is even worse. Please address the real issue at hand, and not this "Like" or "Dislike" idea you've gotten lodged in your heads.

Uhhhh... Oh wow it looks like others are more capable of reading your posts than you are, "Gamewiz"!

I want to see an option for: "OMG MY EYES ARE GOING TO EXPLODE WHEN I PLAY. ^_^ Just sayin.

So the people that are horribly allergic to gluten are just over-reacting? That's basically the point you're making. Gratz on insensitive ignorance.
