Aside from it hurting my eyes and head, I also hate that it completely blocks out the icon with the inane blue/white doom. *** is that? What game has ever put in a UI feature that blocks out entire icons?

All I want them to do is add a stupid 'off' button. THAT'S IT.

At least a dev post letting people know they're doing ANYTHING. So far they started an internal....somethingsomething. That means nothing to an avid player literally waiting to be able to play again once the issue is resolved. Said player wants to know what they're doing, and if they plan on applying a hotfix to make the game playable for everyone again.

Some people are simply more sensitive to things like this. Normal workarounds don't work because BW has offered none.

Some people are more sensitive to flashing bright obnoxious things than others. Most of the time they are able to get a workaround to still be able to enjoy the game, but the problem here is there was no nothing. Just a lot of, "HERE'S THIS NEW UI WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT." They never even said they were changing it or anything. It was like a bad surprise. And right now it's like BW is saying the people having real issue with this don't matter. I want to play and like the game, but right now my eyes feel like they need to explode when I play. SADNESS.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say, still no word from BW at all about this?

And as I said before. We're not saying to take it away from the people that don't have REAL problems with it. Just give those of us that do the ability to tone it down so we can go back to enjoying the game instead of melon scooping our eyes.

Like I said. Good for you. But for a large number of players it is making the game very difficult to play. Everyone's visual acuity is different. The way the brain takes in images and interprets them. Etc Etc Etc. It's like saying, "I can eat gluten, I don't see what the big deal is"

And all the bars up and covered in buttons. It's like a bad rave.

I think I missed something....

Those of us that ARE having issue with it are simply asking for the ability to turn it off. I'm fully aware people like it. It simply makes the game very hard for ME to play. But yes, I can see how it would be nice for someone that doesn't have the problem with it I, and a lot of other players do. All -I- want is an off button for it.

A lot of people are suffering from headaches and eyestrain that wasn't there with the old UI. The new one is just too.....AGH.....for quite a handful of players, and is in fact greatly affecting playability.

It's not a preference issue for a lot of players right now. It's a complete lack of playability. It's not, "I think it's ugly". It's "AMG MY EYEBALLS ARE GOING TO EXPLODE WITH MY HEAD MAKE THE INSANE DISCO OF DOOM STOP AAAHHH". We are more than aware there are people that like it. We are simply asking for a way to turn the nightmare off.
