This is not a criticism of your anti gold selling point - just made me think of something actually. If this game is doing so well where are the gold sellers ? I appreciate that there is absolutely no nedd to buy currency in this game but it has just struck me that this is the 1st mmo I have played where I have not been mailed or whispered regarding buying gold. Maybe BW have got some magic software that stops them

I assume then that you disagree with the upcoming change that you will be able to sprint from level 1. Or are you role playing a cripple that suddenly gets better ? Are you seriously telling me that you find it more immersive to have to click to pick up loot and find a mail box to get mail ? Or having to go through spaceports, shuttles, meaningless corridors and lifts complete with loading screens is somehow more immersive ?

Just been reading some previews about up and coming mmos (won't say which or no doubt will get the usual comments) and 2 things caught my attention which they are implementing. 1) Auto loot from mobs without having to click on anything. In TOR I started out clikcing on loot, seeing if anything was better than I had and equipping it if it was. After a whil that gets to be a pain so changed it to just auto loot - but of course you still have to click to pick it up. Then I would just see if I had picked anything useful when inventory became full and was destroying/selling stuff. So, if people have auto loot turned on then why do we have to click on anything ? 2) Instant post. Why do we have to wait to receive post from other players/alts etc ? I know mail from alts is instant - not sure about other players as have never had to send/receive mail from them (probably cos I'm too sad for people to mail). Howevere I have seen posts saying that credits from selling geare take an hour to arrive. Why ? The main point howvere is a soon to be released mmo has instant post and does not require mail boxes. Mail is built into the UI. Seems like a much better idea to me. Never seen the need to hunt out a mail box.

I would agree with pretty much all you have written. However, you are now going to get a lot of :- 1) Thanks for informing us of your opinions (not) 2) Goodbye and good riddance etc. 3) Stop whining etc. Thats not me saying it but just making sure you realise that if you make a post like this you leave yourself open to these sort of replies as a lot of people have their heads in the sand and take any criticism of the game as being an attack against temselves.

Firstly I was not being negative. If you bothered to read I was merely stating that IMHO sub numbers are completely irrelevant. The only people who know for sure are BW/EA. Please let me know how all this speculation makes any difference to the game. I was merely trying to get across the point that a lot of people seem to need evidence to validate their decision to either play or stop playing the game. I won't use the Fa....y term to describe you as that is just as derogatory and childish as calling people whiners. However, it really seems to me that people like you should stop equating "negative" posts as being an attack on you - ie the "I love the game therefore anyone who disagrees with my opinion must be attacking me personally because if their point is true then I must be stupid". On any game forum there are obviously going to be more negative posts than positive ones. That will be true until someone releases a game that it totally perfect and needs no feedback. I look forward to that day. And btw, I was not implying that this topic was pointless - I stated that I thought it WAS pointless. Have a nice play.

And here we have a prime example of the type of person I mentioned. 1) Where in my post was I attacking the game (or in any other posts I have made for that matter ?) 2) When you cancel your subscription there is the small matter of the remaining time left on your account until money would have been taken for another month. My subscription ran (on a credit card) until the 12th of this month. So presumably you are so naieve that you think that as soon as you click the cancel account button your account becomes inactive. I suggest you READ peoples posts or get a grown up to explain them next time you reply.

Yet another totally pointless post regarding subscriptions. If you still play the game then good for you and I hope that you have a nice time. However, there is no need for these types of posts as they achieve nothing. Or do you need to have to try and validate your decision to carry on playing the game ? I got bored of the game and unsubbed. I'm not paying for something I stopped playing. I don't however need to keep posting or replying to these kinds of threads to convince myself that I am cleverer than those who still play. If you like the game then carry on playing. If not then quit. But stop boring us with pointless speculation. And before some smarty pants asks why I am posting here when I have quit its because I still have an interest in the game and like to check up on its progress. And besides that it's actually quite fun to read and reply to posts.

SO you never thought to actually create a test alt, delete it and then see what happens ? If you could have been bothered to do that I am sure that you could have found out far quicker than posting here. It annoys me that people cannot find out things like this themselves. Its also why 90% of the lazy chat in game gets the "google is your friend" response from me.

Sorry but this is all failed logic. Just because a competitor did not have those features when it launched 8 yeatrs ago has no bearing on this game at all. This game has to be judged against what is available right now - not on what was available all that time ago. The fact that there is no LFG, damage log etc is unacceptable by today's standards. People expect those kind of things to be present. Sorry to use the tired car analogy but hows this ? if you bought a new car and it did not have airbags would you be satidfied if the salesman told you not to worry - they would have them soon. And anyway, the main competitot to your car range didn't have them when it launched, had poor brakes and had a tendency to catch fire. Yours has brakes and is relatively fireproof. No, I didn't think so. Time passes, products get better (or should do)

Totally agree. Popups when fighting is just plain dumb.

I have that already turned on. But if I pick up an enhancement and have 6 oranges that have enhancements I still Have to mouseover all 6 and either remember or write down which is the best one to replace.

I know the obvious one is a dps meter but I would like an addon that showed you which mod/armour/enhancement etc to replace when you got a new one. Its a pain to scan or write down the stats when you are wearing lots orange gear so you can see which one to replace.
