I am so glad to see that you're going to listen and give the players options to make it suit their own vision. Mad props on understanding that one size does not fit all when it comes to MMO UI's after you listened to the community as a whole.

The problem people are having is the frequency. It's every single keystroke in combat that causes the inane flashing. Not to mention most of the AoE flashes aren't as constant and bright and just RIGHT THERE IN YOUR FACE.

There's a known issue for a lot of players with the new UI. Which is why they're implementing the new UI changes soon.

Because that's really what it comes down to here. Not trying to be mean. Just being honest. The companion affection system is in no way broken. You cap out at adoration basically. Being able to go over that is pointless. Going under that can actually happen. JUST STOP PISSING THEM OFF.

It was never a matter of like or dislike. It's a matter of the new UI has made it near impossible for others to play because they're sensitive to the "OMG FLASHY FLASHY WHITE-BLUE BLOB" that happens on every key press. Causes major headaches and eyestrain and nausea for quite a few people. If it wasn't so jarring to my peripheral vision, I might like it a little. As it stands it makes my eyes and head hurt a lot.

I actually had to enable vsync and AA. My tearing and flickering issues went away instantly when I did.

^This. I'm sure correcting mouseovers on items, or the items themselves should CERTAINLY come before fixing the UI that keeps people from playing. Or the patcher issues people are having. Or the sluggish combat system. Or the lack of true end-game currently. Or the overall graphical issues a lot of people keep having. I hope you get the point. That bug is so minor it's inane to scream for them to fix it ASAP.
