  1. Question: Does the companion armor thing start at level 1 or only after you move into the expansion? Same for the companion roles? The way you worded it on this post for the companion armor changes, makes it sounds like its only start after you start the Knight of the Fallen Empire. If does start at level one, this feature is going to have huge impact on cypertech, especially their droid parts as they will now be complete worthless. I'm sure other crafters will be affected too. I'm not saying it bad thing, as I really do like it on one hand, but it will have huge impact on crafters. I'm kind hoping it only starts with the new expansion for armor thing as it would not ruin a huge part of the market. The role thing, I hope starts right away.
  2. Welcome, I'm glad you are doing better and enjoying the game.
  3. I too would like a devs to confirm if the decorations drop at all in solo mode. I think they should drop, maybe with a little lower chance then in group rim but to be honest decorations don't drop at a very good rate already. I hope they make it a little easier to get these decorations in the new expansion and if there not in solo mode add them.
  4. I think you will have to finish the class story but I wouldn't be against them offering the default setting for people who did reach max level without doing the story.
  5. Does seem a little unfair to those who paid but I'm not going to freak out over it either.
  6. Oh I didn't known it would fill up my tickets, I assumed it just went into some into another system for stopping credit farmers. Happy I found this out before I was complete full as I report them a lot. They should allow us to delete them or better they should be deleting them after collecting the date. Thanks, I will just delete them .
  7. I haven't try it before, so i made one today. Hopeful I'll get a few but if not it's all good. I'll report my finding at the end of August
  8. Yeah I liked when we could get the music, as there is some very good music in the game. I wouldn't be against buying them.
  9. ^The date in this analyzes only show a correlation between the numbers of people who are playing on a given night. A correlation isn’t a cause or proof that raiders are the majority. First just because there more people on doesn’t mean they are all engaged in raiding. Even if that night is consider a raiding night, there is no way to determine what percentage of the 45% more people are actual raiders. Even if they are a majority on that night, all this proves is that all the raiders got on at the same time, this doesn’t prove that this type of endgame is more important or that they make up a large part of the population. It only shows that raiders get on in a large number on a given night and other types of players are spread out over the rest of the week. For example if a large RPG guild decide to get on Sunday and there 35% increase in the population on my server that doesn’t mean RPG represent a large majority of the population instead it just give information on what night is popular for that play style. This information is interesting but does little to support your argument that operations etc are done by a majority of the players. The fact is we don’t have the data need to break down who does what or how much but I assume the devs do.
  10. I don't think this is a bad thing as I think it will get more people to play the game. I think a lot of former players will appreciated it, like those who might have character in the 35-50 range but never finished leveling them out. Instead they can make a new 60 and jump right in, yes the learning curve will be hard for a complete new player but they will either learn how to play or just be bad. That not really any different then now, many people go 1-50 and still aren't that great at there class because they play solo and the content isn't that hard. I known a while back I took a break and when I came back to play my 50 I had to relearn how play my character due to combat changes. They could throw in a basic tutorial to help the players who've just come back or those that are complete new. I really don't think it will have nearly as big of an impact on game play as some here feel it will. I am looking forward to having the choice to buy a new level 60 if I decide to expand to a new server in the future.
  11. I want answer to these question too because I'm in the process of leveling a lot of companion to max affection on my new 60. So I'd like to known if it's a big waste of my time and resources. What i hope happen is that having your companion at max affection going into the new story will make it much easier to recruit them over having no affection with them. So if I've got Kira max then when I asked her to join my team she will just join or it will be one simple mission. Where if I don't then I'll have to run the mission to get her loyalty like all the new companions. I think that a fair reward but I also need to known how long it going to take to get my companion back as I am a crafter and losing them will really affect my GTN sales and being able to gear out my other character. PS I hope the keep our the customization current on our companion but I known there may be technical issues that prevent this.
  12. I don't think they are going to complete phase out the old content as then they would have to recreate all the starting zone and make complete new stories for player who start at one. Plus they mention in an article that they are streamlining the stories, not complete sure what that means but it doesn't sound like they are going to get ride of the original story, just making it faster to get done. I think it more likely going to be a phase zone just like Ziost and once you step through that story door you will be in a new massive phase. Of course this bring up the question will GTN show items from both phase, can you go back into the old content "as events, dailies, flashpoint, reputation would all be lost". Either way this seem like a massive change. I hope they start answering question as I'm a little worried about what's going to happen to my stuff and if I need to start mad leveling character etc.
  13. You ask some good question. I'm personal think that the level 60 and above will be on a different phase, like Ziost, from the 1-60 below content. If you read the new articles they say you have to travel around the galaxy doing mission to gain the loyalty of new companions and create an alliance to fight the new bad guys. The only way I see this working is if they are going to create new maps for the old planets, but I could be wrong. Of course this would create a lot of questions such as what happen to my house? Can I send thing back to my lower characters? Hopeful the dev will start answering these questions as there are a lot of them. I think the downside to starting a fresh 60 character will be the fact you don't have the loyalty of any of the companions you will be recruiting so you will have to do more mission to get them to join your team. Where if Kira your friend she will join you because she known she can trust you.
  14. I was thinking too that the max affection would allow you to recruit them without having to do all the mission need to gain their loyalty. This type of system rewards player who went to the trouble of not only getting these companions but also maxing their loyalty. So what I think happen if you make a fresh 60 character they won't have any standing with the companions and you will have to do all the side mission to get them to join your team. If not I see a lot of people not being very happy, not only do they have to find their companions but also regain there loyalty which also doesn't make sense story wise. Maybe it could be also based on the dialog choice we made with our characters? In the end I hope dev do tell us soon so I can decide if I need to grind my companions affection or stop. Along with what happen to the gear our companion customization, what about the gear they are when they leave us? So many questions, I'm happy and worried.
  15. I'm happy they lowered the legacy bank prices to something reasonable. I’m still not a fan of the 300 items cap in a stronghold, what the point of all the hooks? With only 300 items strong hold are going to be very sparsely decorated, particular Tatooine and NAR SHADDAA. If it a technical limit, that a major disappointment. If they are planning to make us pay for more hooks, I am going to be very unhappy. As long as there the 300 items cap, I’m going to be very choose on which rooms I unlock. I like the buff on Makeb, it nice we can choose to use it or not.
  16. ^I did the very same thing and feel the same way. That is last hypercrate I ever buy, same goes for my sister (who thankfully didn’t buy one yet). Why take the chance they decide to do another experiment, without a warning? If it had been just some strange bug, I would have understood, even knowing nothing could be done for those who already opened their packs. And the new collection price are outrageous, if this become normal, I am done buying items to unlock. Well, I guess, their helping me save money. In truth, most of the time, I like this game but things like this really put me off it.
  17. This made my day and I can’t wait for it to get in game but I too am a little worried that everything will be locked behind the cartel market. They could go the DCUO route and sell different planet theme or different house types in the store, but hopeful they will not lock all the furniture etc behind cartel coins. That would just make the system awful. Guess I’ll just have to wait and see.
  18. I wish they would add them of course they’d have to be toggle on/off for those that don't like them but truthful my hope of ever seeing them adding to the game is very low. As for the people saying they need to focus on other content they have expand almost all other area of the game so there no reason this feature shouldn't be added. Grup finder isn’t needed to do flashpoint/operation but it a nice feature to have, so would cjat bubbles. Actual I was quite surprise that they didn’t have this feature added in the first year, as all the MMO I've played have always had them. Oh well I keep my finger crossed that maybe well get them this year.
  19. I love it when people say they will just blast through any new class story they give us and then be bored in days. People do the same with planet arch, dailies, and operations so that not really a very good excuse. The fact is they simple can’t make content fast enough no matter the type. This poll clearly shows class story is important to a decent chunk of the players; the best thing they can do is give everyone a little bit of what they want. They could compromises and do one quest chain per new planet that deal with the player class story. Another choice is to do two classes per new content and do a cycle so it wouldn’t take up to much development time. It’s probably not going to happen but I do think they will loses some people eventual if they don’t add class story, who known if it will be significant amount or not. PS The more diversity the game has the more players it will draw in, that why I think they should add housing and mini game for people to do. As the daily grind can easily get old.
  20. This would be a nice add on, as other point out sometime you just want those blood red eyes without the pale skin and black vein effect. To be honest I’m surprised they haven't add more customization choices, I thought for sure they be adding a few ever month, it's like they forgot about it or maybe it just really that hard to program new hair and eyes. Either way I’m still waiting to get white eyes and long hair on my Sith Pure blood, maybe next year.
  21. As other said it free and I think it's a nice update for those that like PVP. As I don’t PVP all the much, I don’t see myself using it much but that doesn’t make it bad either. I do hope as other said they later expanded on it, so the PVE can enjoy free roaming space too.
  22. I still wish they add them, but to be honest I don't think it going to happen.
  23. That a nice, but when are they going to add features for non-human players. Many races have nothing new to buy, I only have one human so it fairly useless to me right now. Not saying it a bad feature but I would love to get the long hair and glowing eyes on my pure blood. To be honest I don’t get why they locked these feature to human only, many hair color/styles are shared among the different species . Only a few of the species should have been locked out and everyone should be able to use the eyes.
  24. I support this petition, the Rakghoul event was my all time favorite. The Chevin was fun too.
  25. I do hope this mean there going the DC Universe Online route and giving all new DLC “expansion” free to the subscription players. If not, I think this could backfire on them. I could see many people refusing to buy the next expansion and just waiting for it to be given to them free. I’m not saying it bad to give more to sub, but they had to know handing it out free so soon was going to leave a lot of players who bought it feeling cheated. Those saying things change prices all the time are correct. I even thought it might go on sale this fall or be bundle with the next expansion but I can’t think of a single DLC or expansion that been given out free within the same year it was released. I could be wrong, but I can see why people feel cheated. Truth is, if I know it was going to be free this soon I would have wait. I won’t be rushing to buy the next expansion either. That the message there sending to the players pay to get pre order goodies along with earlier access or wait and get it free. That’s not a good message to be sending for future expansions unless there not going to charge for them anymore. Overall they could have handled the entire thing better. They do seem to fail when it comes to PR, for example if the cartel coins are actual a refund they could have avoid some of this backlash by correctly wording it as such As it read right now, it does sound like they appreciated those that recently bought the expansion over those who bought it earlier this year. Simple giving the CC to everyone who bought the pack would have avoided a lot of the rage and made sure loyal fan didn’t feel cheated. As for the title, it probably the weakest show of appreciation, (not to mention it an awful title in my opinion) they could give the players. If they wanted to thank the players who bought the expansion pack they should actual give them a reward, like a unique Varactyl mount or a cool pet. Something that doesn’t take ten second to make, the title feels more like a sucker badge, then a thank you.
