Hey so there are still a bunch of unanswered questions regarding Rated Warzones, but if you had to make an 8 person team, what would it look like and why?
This is something I think might work well:
1 Shadow tank
1 Vanguard Flag Carrier
1 Sage Healer
1 Commando Healer
2 Sentinels
1 Gunslinger
1 Sage DPS
Shadow tank is primarily there for utility/stealth harassing+guarding of nodes. For example if you just send 1 shadow at the start of Alderaan to where the opponent is zerging they can hold off multiple people from the cap for a hilariously long time with mind maze.
Maybe it's just my class but I've found Powertechs to be the hardest tank to kill plus they have charge/knockback/an impressive amount of damage.
Sage healer for just the insane healing throughput and the utility of force lift/force grip.
Commando healers are definitely the hardest healers in the game to kill for a group of players, so that's why I'm not a fan of pure Sage healer teams.
Sentinels are the bread and butter of DPS in SWTOR, very consistent, strong utility, very mobile for a melee. Overall just a very solid class.
Gunslinger for the 5% crit and being very annoying from a distance. I feel that Gunslingers aren't powerful without support but get them behind a team that protects them adequately/makes you pay for going on them and they can be pretty devastating.
And Sage dps because of their utility/sustained DPS.
The ideal compositions would probably differ depending on whether rated warzones are all random or if it's on a rotation (Huttball 1 week, Alderaan the next etc) so put in the team description if you designed the team for a specific Warzone.
