Hi All. Situation: I want to play a melee class with a lightsaber. I don't like the sith inquisitor story line, so warrior is for me. I want to level to 50 then only pvp. I will never tank an operation or flashpoint. Question: Which advanced class therefore has an easier time levelling and also does ok in pvp (I understand 99% is player skill - so my question is more aimed at the levelling question) Any responses would be really good. I want to play a guardian and a vanguard but am worried that I'll dislike repeating the same missions on republic side. Does it ever feel repetitive for any of you to level 2 rep chars?

What happens if you delete the character you unlocked legacy on? Do you lose your legacy points?

haha sorry, i completely missed a vital bit of this. It would be for PvP, so i am looking for burst and damage with mostly single target damage, but some aoe is always nice for defending those nodes/ doors. The requirement of heavy armor is a sentence fuelled by my own ignorance. take from it that I don't want to take much damage and deal high damage like a glass cannon. i'd like to be able to take it and dish some out. obviously i wouldn't be able to do as high dps as a squishy class or its crazy imbalanced. Closing distances doesn't matter so much to me, i just don't like being kited by range classes. how i get to em doesnt matter so much. Hopefully these help?

Hi All, I like playing a class that doesn't instantly die (i.e. quite resilient). I like doing dps, but survival is much more important for me. Which class out of Guardian/Vanguard/Shadow would offer me the best combination of simplicity of gameplay, as I am not very skilled, and decent dps with survivable heavy armour? I suppose really its more which of these three is the simplest to play, which is the best damage. any advice would be much appreciated

I understand that maybe jugg does have a lot of abilities that make them good for pvp, but that's just my problem - the sheer amount of abilities they use on a regular basis. Although i have ended quite high in other mmo's (wow - sue me) I wouldn't call myself too skilful. Particularly to be able to balance all the abilities of a jugg as well as learning the building rage mechanic which I usually avoid I.e warrior in wow- ruuuuuuun!! I appreciate all the helpful tips. I don't appreciate the unnecessary insults, but it seems you cant escape everything that WOW had including trolls

As the title suggests, I am looking for a sizeable and active guild that does PvP end game. I am a good pvper, my guild pvp team in wow fights at 1800 rating and I myself have played in and around the 1900 bracket in 3v3. Howeverm there is a profound lack of control available to warrior's other than a slow, a force push which then necessitates a force leap. I find force choke seems to just fail a lot, as does ravage. Is a Powertech or Vanguard any simpler? I like the style of them, and I know there is an excellent guide by Taugrim on them. Thanks

So I'm on empire on taasaa bareesh server. I play a juggernaut and simply put, I am struggling. I do mostly pvp as I pvp'd a lot in wow as a paladin. However I do sucky dps here as there are so many abilities to keep a track of. Are there any simple classes for me to have a go at? I want to dps, but jugg just has so many abilities to watch. Please advise. Thanks in advance
