This game is turning F2P because they couldn't keep up their own promises and lost approx 50% of their subscribers and this number will only increase from now on probably until F2P arrives. It has nothing to do with players doesnt want to pay for a game monthly, they just don't wanna pay for a **** end-game like this game has.

+ Tons of skills / classes to choose from (if you say so) + Dark side / Light side (Doesnt impact your story at all, useless after lvl 50) + Companions (I give you this with the first (main) companion. The rest is just a couple of sentence and cutscenes) + Story lines / voice actors (thats one of its few properly done parts.) + Diversified professions (also: not needing to run around and do it yourself) (Agreed) + GTN works! And it's cross faction. homework well done (GTN works exception when its not) + Space missions (a distraction but still fun) (boring after the first run)

I purchased a game they stated wont go to F2P because subs based model is just as much profitable. I purchased a game which promised monthly updates (tons of updates) in exchange of lack of features at launch. Is this enough for court? Sure not, but it isn't nice business either.
