I leveled full defense spec on my guardian and later on juggernaut(mirror class). Hybrids are not as good in PvE as a pure spec, but you wouldn't notice it as much leveling. With your wife as a sage healer, I'd say going full defense is the route to go, especially if you guys do flashpoints and heroics together. Just be sure to keep your dps companions gear as current as you can.

I play a guardian tank as a main, I have a Vanguard alt. I First Jugg and Guardian are the exact same thing. Second, if you looking for which performs better in a given role, I'd give the nod to the vanguard in both tanking in DPS. Assault Specialist is currently one of the top dps in the game, and for tanking Vanguards start out with the best overall mitigation and have a greater range and aoe capabilities, however, I like the guardian more for tanking because of the cooldowns that plus I like the feel of the class.(but that last one is uber subjective) Guardian tanking is more spiky from defense being our primary defensive stat, while Vanguards are pretty constant in their damage received. We're not too strict. We like to have fun, we just want focus when it comes to boss fights. Pull your weight and help out guildies. We'd be very interested in bringing you on board.As of now our guild's progression nights are mainly Friday, we start 8pm cst, that's because everyone else in the raid group besides me lives on the east cost. A lot of times we do end up starting closer to 9pm, however.

PvP endgame is worse than PvE, still I agree with the OP, the game is great, just could be so much more, if they speed up content patches and show that they do care about the hardcore players, they can turn the fate of the game around.

Darth Angral is a pain, besides over-leveling I recommend you get help. However as a Sentinel you may want to use a tank companion, that way you aren't taking hits as you are more squishy. You're best bet is grouping.

That's relative, I feel like I'm getting my moneys worth. I'm patient, I'm giving them time to build their content. I have fun playing with my guild, and helping new members get gear. Don't patronize.

Well, you can't go wrong with any of the servers, I'm a pub on the Prophecy of 5 and I love it. Our server is pretty lively on both sides, with the stable of characters you have, you could find a guild that'd be able to utilize you, and keep you pretty active.

I know there are some headgears that remove the robe, I'm just having to wait till I get campaign gear so I don't lose my 4 piece set bonus(I have a different chest).

I wish I could have a pink baby salky hound pet named DEFAULT. I miss those little buggers.
