I am extreemly dissapointed with the Cathar race. Ever since they announced it I have put my JK on hold, as I planned to make a cathar guardian. I had a look in mind, something like the male in the second picture. And, now, when the race finally arrive (half a year to late ++) I can only make lolcatz. I still made my cathar guardian, but, so utterly dissapointed with the customaztation options, this was not worth the wait. And, I will not buy the next race unless its one I really really want (like weequay). I bought this more to support new races than to show that I like cathar (I hadnt heard of Cathar before TOR). Edit: just to clarify, I am unhappy with almost all the options. Pattern, faces, color, hair etc. the only option I am happy with is the body scale

And please let us exit zoom mode by right clicking one extra time when maxed zoomed out.

It does give you clues as you close in. First it either tells you if you are far away or close. If you are close there is a green semicircle around indicating the direction you need to search. And, CSI dailys, it specifically tells you to target certain objects.

This is purely from a non-combat effectiveness standpoint, and as of know I have 10k affection with all companions minus the JK ones. Healer- Mako Ranged dps- Vette Melee Tank - Bowdaar Ranged Tank - Blizz Melee dps- well, this is the only one that I am undecided on, as I have not played enough with them all. Nadia is nice, but I got her to late to establish a bond with her. I have not played JK since beta, but I got fond of Kira real quick. But, as of know, I would have to say Jaesa (dark side). I have turned her down on my juggernaut and married her on my maruader, and either way, she is just so damn crazy (and I also got a soft spot for Yuun, even though I just got him today, my very own Zuckuss)

1. Its Star Wars 2. To play with my brothers (WZs) 3. To complete all the class stories 4...... I think I will make point 4 and 5 the same as 1; Its Star Wars. And considering my brothers probably wouldnt play if it wasnt Star Wars, 2 is tied to 1 as well. And, also, if it hadnt been Star Wars I probably wouldnt have bothered with 3 either, so, all in all, I only play because its Star Wars.

When you are in a PvE queue you can pve while you wait. When you are in a pvp queue you cant pvp while you wait because the wpvp is nonexistant.

You are not so good at math and logic are you? If all the quitters think like you do, that might explain a lot.

I want rewards for quitters wasting my time. If I spend 15 minutes in a queue and then join for the last 10 seconds of a wz the quitter has wasted 15 minutes of my game time, when this happens a few times in a row it gets really frustrating. Its either giving rewards to the latecommers or make the wz unable to accept new players after it has started. As it is now, when ppl quit warzones left and right at first sign of trouble I get into more warzones that has already started than I get into fresh ones. And BW seem to thing its wrong to punish quitters! Well then, reward the latercomers that join to late to be able to get a badge.

Seriously, this has to stop. I am sick and tired of waiting in warzone queues, join late for a team thats loosing without any time to get medals, so no comms, no rewars, exit warzone, wait in another queue, join another loosing side without time to get medals, rince and repeat. Its getting ridiculous. This has happened to me today, several times, on both factions. Yes yes, it has probably been mentioned before, but it needs to be mentioned again until they fix it.

Do you want to start with the well written books or do you want to read them in order according to the timeline? And what era? Old republic era? Pre SW IV? Post SW VI? My favourites are the Thrawn triology and duology, followed by the Han Solo triology. If you want more jedi and force the jedi academy triology is worth a read. The question is, how much bad writing are you prepared to read? If badly written books dont annoy you, start with the truce at bakura and work your way onwards through the timeline. If you want to start with the best written books, start with the Thrawn triology by Thimoty Zahn.

Just about to finish the story on my sage, and my next project will be a trooper. I have previously played a vanguard to 18, then rerolled him to a commando which made it to 17 and then rerolled vanguard again which made it to 28 before I deleted him to free up a slot for another imp char. the reason I rerolled him the first time was because I wanted an assault cannon, the second time it felt a waste to roll a commando when I already had a merc (and we were restricted to 8 slots). I like the look and feel of both ACs, both as a male type 3 and female type 2. In that regard I have a few questions: 1) Just how aweful is a commando for pvp in the 10-49 bracket? My merc is now aweful in the 50 bracket, to the point where he is retired. If I want to pvp while I level, is vanguard the only real option? 2) Light vs Dark: What side of the story is better and which side of the story do your companions prefer? I really hate seeing -100 affection in conversations 3) For solo pve, considering I will have 400 presence from legacy (currently sitting on 701 presence on my 49 sage) which will be stronger and faster, the commando or the vanguard? When we get the option to buy more char slots this problem will be moot, as I will make a char of the other AC with the opposite alignment as my 13th char. TLDR version: For a pet project trooper: Vanguard or Commando, Lightside or Darkside

We get a lot more CC by using our subscription fee to buy CC, so the arguemnt that races is free becasue we get a small amount of CC with the subscription is a very weak argument. If BW force us to buy the content anyway, why should I subscribe and get a small amount of CC when I can go ftp and buy a lot more CC with the money I would have used on a subscription fee? Sure, I loose some bonuses, but how many months worth of subscription fee would I ahve to invest in the cartel shop before I have bought all the unlocks? Not that many I think (if someone wants to do the math, feel free)

I support this, as long as they introduce localized servers at the same time they introduce the russian language pack. I am just curious, when you say healing companion, do you refer to quinn or are you using the ship droid? I leveled my juggernaut almost a year ago, so I might be wrong, but I seem to recall I didnt have quinn at level 17. And, if you are using the ship droid, that might be the reason people are telling you to use Vette instead, as the ship droid is not designed for combat and he clearly tells you so. However, if you deck him out he is a decent healer at that level.

Sorry, but after first beeing in the beta (eu market research beta) last summer and follwing the game, playing the game since 13 minutes into early access etc I have do disagree. The only people BW listen to are the idiots (yes I still think the game was better last summer than it is now). As I wrote I have barely logged on, and then just to check mail and GTN. The few times I actually played I either jumped straight to Black hole or played pub alts on Balmorra. My main point was that it would have been nice to receive an email where they inform us that there is an event, for us that do not play every day (or every week) and dont follow the forums as closely as we did before. If I had known there was an event, I would have played, as I didnt know, I didnt play. Simple. I was actually in the general forums several times last week (mostly to see if there was any rumors or info about more char slots), but as there used to be a lot of worthless stickies, I havent looked at those for a while (just glance at them, and if there was any event info I have missed it). And, none of the regular posts talked of an event. The first I heard of it was someone that wondered what they should use all their extra tokens for. I claimed that its a marketing failure as events like these might keep people subscribed, even the ones that barely play (like me). But, since those people dont hang out on the fleet all day every day (and dont even log on at all) and dont visit the forums, another way to inform them (like an email) would be good. That way they might get a bit more interest and more activity. All hypotetical ofc. but yes, I admit, its mostly (like 99%) my own fault for not giving a rats *** about what happens to TOR anymore.

You mean, in your personal opinion TSW is horrid. So far I have only found one horrid thing about TSW, and that is that I have enjoyed playing so much that I missed out on the last TOR event. The voiceovers and cutscenes are better than TOR (in my personal opinion ofc). I am a TOR CE owner, and as you can see from my sig has played quite a lot. I had no plans to play TSW this summer, maybe not even this year as I have had so much fun with TOR, but a friend gave me a CB key in june, and since then I have barely played TOR at all. I am still a subcsriber, and I still plan to be, but, I bought a lifetime account to TSW, that is how good I think that game is. The free trials are not there because the game is not good, but because they want to show more people how great the game really is. A lot of new players have started after trying those free trials. They wouldnt buy the game after a free trial if the game was horrid now would they?

Wow... a new event. Had a lot of fun with the rakghoul event so when I saw this I was "yay, time to play TOR again", only to realize I am too late. A mail or something would be nice! I have been ingame (just a bit, checking mails and GTN etc) and to the forums, to see if there was anything, but I had not been the the swtor front page, and that seems to be the only place they make you aware of it. Crapitty crap. This one got marketing failure written all over it (imo). Seems I am not the only one that missed this event.

Yeah, 6 more slots right now would be superb as I really want to try a few more classes, but dread to delete any of those I got (already deleted a level 28, two level 20s and two level 18 + several from 18-10)

I have not played for a month (been playing TSW, was meaning to play both but every time I sit down in front of the computer I always end up playing TSW) so I didnt know the animation had changed. Well, today my son wanted to watch me playing Star Wars, so I wondered who I should play, with 6 50s I got the urge to continue my lvl 32 sage. The first thing that hit me, was "*** have they done to project?" I thought it was a visual bug, as I didnt even see those small rocks around my enemy (I was at max range). But then it dawned on me that they had inteded to fix the travel time. And OMG, this change is horrible. It might work for shadows, as they are more often than not in melee range anyway (I tested running up to the mobs before using the ability, and then its not so bad) but for sage's this change is really really bad. The next time I log on to SWTOR, it wont be to play my sage. It suddenly fell from the first to the last char in who I want to play. One more nail in the coffin of what used to be a great game.

Not the player spawn, the ball spawn.

I have once been pulled onto the Huttball ball spawn point, just once (and it was so long ago that I had forgotten about it until I was about to make this post). Considering how often that situation might possible happen (at least 6 times every WZ) you would think I had seen it a lot more. But yes, the rest is commonly used, doesnt mean its not effective and fun use of the pull ability though.
