  1. Most probably because your new computer/router connection is set to use a dynamic IP address that changes every time you log in instead of a static one. Do yourself a favour, get a Security Key either for your smartphone or your computer, collect 100 supplementary Cartel Coins each month and avoid having to deal with one-time-passwords altogether.
  2. Still hoping that they add the black-purple striated color crystals to the Season vendor, which was a sub reward back in march of 2015.
  3. That's because SWTOR runs very well on the Steam Deck and the community uploaded their own custom controller profiles to Steam. Since you have two precision trackpads on the Steam Deck, you can accurately emulate using a mouse in addition to using buttons.
  4. Fair enough. I forgot that they also delayed Galactic Season 2 when they delayed the release of the entire expansion after that livestream. I am fairly certain that they will not stick to that outdated roadmap anymore, though.
  5. They don't really care about retaining high subscriber numbers as long as they make enough money with the Cartel Market in the meantime. The did not promise us Galactic Season 3 for 2022.
  6. Will it return? - Pretty much guaranteed, as they have never skipped it during the last couple of years and added new stuff to gamble for. The more prevalent question is whether they will add anything new to the jackpot pool and vendors this year. When? - No announcement yet, therefore it will probably start some time in mid July and run for 6 weeks until late August. My best guess would be from July 12th until August 23rd.
  7. The Cartel Market has items that rotate in and out of stock to artifically create scarcity and increase demand. It can take years before an item rotates back in with no concrete time table to follow. The only options you have is to wait and hope that it becomes available again for direct purchase, becomes a Flash Sale deal, get an extremely lucky drop from a Cartel Crate or hope that someone else got it out of a Crate and starts selling it on the GTN for an obscene amount of credits.
  8. The Commander's Character token is used to create a completely new character at lvl 70, not to boost an existing character to lvl 70. To boost an existing character up to level 70 you have to buy the Master's Datacron. Both of those tokens only apply when you claim them from the market and consume them. Once you have consumed the Commander's Character Token, you should be able to see the option to boost a new character to lvl 70 during character creation. Btw, the current max level is 80.
  9. Couldn't disagree with you more on every single point that you are making. GS2 is way more casual friendly without the need to rely on group content that used to be randomly assigned to you in GS1 not only weekly, but daily. It is also not slower to advance in levels compared to GS1 if you weigh the points you get out of solo and group content. I finished season 2 roughly at the same time I finished season 1 (one month before the end of the season) without dreading the objectives I might get each day and having no control over them. You also seem to have overlooked the bonus progress you got for doing specific flashpoints so you only needed to complete 2 and sometimes even just 1 flashpoint to finish that particular weekly. We must have played different versions of GS2, but hey, there are even some people around who actually prefer getting random objectives with even more random rerolls, so nothing will surprise me anymore when it comes to this community. Btw, you can remove the friend referral link from your signature. That program has been removed over a year ago.
  10. You will definitely not be able to earn new reputation tokens once the Season is over, but most probably still be able to use the saved up reputation tokens over the weekly cap. However, since the wording of that achievement says "during the season", it might not count towards completing it in time and getting the associated rewards. This shouldn't be a problem in your case specifically unless you already added this week's reputation cap to your rank points total. Including this week, we have 3 weeks left of Galactic Season 2 and with the weekly reputation cap of 5000, you'll still be able to reach Legend rank just before the Season is over.
  11. This is nothing new in the game. Whenever you change the equipped gear on your character, the game will reapply all the granted stats including the additional hit points from Endurance. Since changing the Loadout is not only changing the Combat Style and talents but also the gear on your character, you will see the same health drop as if you reapplied all the gear slots at once.
  12. Indeed, I mixed up Telos and you, sorry for that. Didn't realize that you annexed the thread to talk about game crashes instead of connection issues.
  13. Alright, since your goal seems to be deflecting any agency on your end to get this fixed, and you are now even contradicting what you wrote in your initial post just to attack someone who is not immediately jumping on the "It's EA's fault!" bandwagon, get used to those "crashes" and waiting for EA to compensate you.
  14. Yes, but it should be looked into by the very people that are experiencing this issue, not by BioWare or EA. You are just arguing from hearsay that "a lot of people" have connection issues. In the same vein I can argue that "a lot of people" did not have any connection issues since 7.0 dropped, myself included, which belies the fact that the game servers are at fault here. The only constructive course of action is to analyze all the potential causes for the issue that I mentioned in my earlier post and to present it as verifiable evidence and not to jump to lazy conclusions and threaten legal action.
  15. Only if you can proof that the culprit is EA and their servers and not your Firewall, Antivirus, Router settings and some traffic congestion along the way to their servers that leads to packet loss, which you could analyze with a pingplotter trace run result and which is the very likely cause of your problems here. Since you don't seem to have done any of this, you have no recourse against EA at all and you will most certainly not be compensated for it.
  16. 1) No. 2) You cannot combine skills from different Combat Styles, you are strictly one class or the other. 3) You are misremembering this together with a whole bunch of people who in their excitement immediately jumped to this interpretation of Combat Styles when they first heard about this without actually waiting to digest the typically vague information given by BioWare.
  17. Because this is nothing that EA or BioWare can fix, since it is connection issue from your end to their end and has nothing to do with their servers. The usual culprits are either software problems eminating from your Firewall and/or Antivirus programs, your Router settings or traffic congestion along a cluster that causes intermittent packet loss. Check your Firewall, Antivirus and Router settings, run a trace route with a pingplotter tool to analyze your connection to their servers and try using a VPN to stabilize the connection.
  18. Indeed. And every bit of information that we have about this project so far points to the fact that it will not be an MMO, but simply a The Division 2, aka a 4-player coop looter shooter, in the Star Wars universe. So nothing that would compete with SWTOR in any way. I don't know how this whole "Ubisoft is working on the next big Star Wars MMO" rumor chain started, but it seems to stick as much as it is pure fiction.
  19. The thing is though that you cannot give Fen Zeil any outfit of your choosing, you can only change his appearance with those pre-defined customizations.
  20. Next to the three Legacy titles, the major point of reaching Legend reputation is the overarching Season 2 achievement that will grant you the Outlaw customization for Fen Zeil. You must have Legend reputation rank, Season level 100 and 100 completed weekly objectives before the Season is over to unlock that customization for your account. The decorations, outfits, weapons and mounts are part of the Season reward track and the Season vendor in the Supplies section of the fleet, so there is no need for a separate reputation vendor. I never heard any rumors like that and I find it pretty ridiculous that anyone would even come up with something like this. There will be no way of increasing your reputation rank after the Season has ended, which would lock out anyone from buying those mats who did not participate in the Season. Chances are very high that we will not see a reputation vendor for this at all, not now and not in the future.
  21. I'm fairly certain that you can keep and use the accumulated reputation tokens even after the Season is over, because the reputation track itself will most probably still be there in your Legacy. You will just not be able to earn new Syndicate Plans anymore and the rep exchange vendor will be gone. Granted, until we get a clear confirmation from a dev we cannot be sure.
  22. It's for the 3 Legacy titles in addition to being part of the overarching achievement (maxed reputation, maxed Galactic Season, 100 completed weekly objectives) that grants you the Cad Bane like Outlaw customization for Fen Zeil.
  23. Rested XP does not accumulate during double XP event. It even says so when you hover over the XP bar during the event and read the tooltip. In fact, rested XP is completely untouched during double XP event, so at least regarding that the rested XP bug is completely irrelevant.
  24. I doubt that. The Manaan daily area will most certainly be independent of Galactic Seasons and be just like all the other daily areas in the game with an exclusive reputation track and vendor(s) that sell rewards like decos, armor sets, pets and mounts. Judging by the time span between Season 1 and 2, Galactic Season 3 will probably come out early next year.
  25. Because BioWare shifted away from time-limited points to exclusive rewards for their achievements and the real achievement will be getting the Outlaw customization for Fen Zeil, which requires 100 Season levels, a maxed out reputation rank and 100 completed weekly objectives. You can be assured that there will be players after the Season has ended complaining about not being able to get it anymore.
