  1. I understand the appeal if Swtor was purely a single player game and you can at least try to approach it on that level in some regard. But it's still an mmorpg and your character interacts/competes with many other players walking around with the same companions as you, doing group content. Forcing all players to gear their companions would be a detriment to the mmo aspect of the game. I think you want Swtor to be Kotor 3, which is totally understandable, but it isn't.
  2. The companions still appear on your ship for the main class story, but after you advance to Kotfe, Kotet and everything after that they are placed in your Companions & Alerts list and you only summon them from there. Conversations only happen during story and in certain other areas like the alliance base.
  3. Because you like the style and persona of various companions and don't want to run around with the same 2 or 3 companions while adventuring. Tbh I don't get the argument for having to gear stat companions. On the contrary, it would be exactly limiting if you were forced to grind for gear so you could actually use that companion in battle and only for the role that the game prescribes. Now you can dress and use them as you please. Giving them stats does not change their utility or character, it would only add another grind factor and we certainly have enough of that in the game already.
  4. They become pretty pointless regarding the loot you get after level 60. They are still a decent if not the best way to farm xp, especially if you also buy all the xp gain level perks in your legacy for killing enemies in fps. After you hit lvl 50 you can pick up the weekly from the priority missions console for completing 5 veteran and/or 3 master fps and if you hit lvl 70 it is one of the go to options for me to earn good cxp.
  5. The green rest bar only applies to killing enemies, not to finishing quests, and it generally does not apply when double XP event is on. So yes, if you log out in a cantina, fleet or your ship it really helps to catch up when you kill lots of enemies.
  6. Another reason for the change was that a lot of players, especially f2p players, needed the dropped gear during dice roll in flashpoints and ops for their companions to increase their stats. Something that was very annoying and led to a lot of toxicity. So yes, I am also one of the players that like the change. For me stat maxing your companions with gear was far more cumbersome than fun.
  7. I also ran into some issues with certain achievements after the server merge due to different states between the legacies. The strange thing is that one issue got resolved prettty quickly and the other one has not been fixed for several months now with no fix in sight. The first one was regarding the achievements with the bounty contract event. No matter how many times I killed one of the henchmen it did not trigger correctly and I was unable to get the "Wanted Dead or Alive" legacy title, because there was a discrepancy between the indicator in the event tab and the specific henchmen tab. I contacted support via the ingame ticket system and they were able to fix that issue within 2 days. I was very impressed by the short time and efficiency. The other one was regarding several achievements with the companions. There was the same discrepancy, some companions had finished the "kill 100/1000 enemies" achievement, but it was shown as incomplete in the general companion tab. Therefore I was unable to get the "Imperial/Republic Squad Leader" legacy title. I again contacted support via the ticket system but this time they said that they cannot resolve the issue on their end and that they will escalate the issue to the developers to fix with the next update and closed the ticket. They also told me to write a bug report, which I did, but nothing happened. No fix for half a year now.
  8. Like others have rightfully explained, it's pretty irrelevant what you as a player *think* should be considered gambling or not and what in-game activities are in the same category or not. Having already stuff in the game like the Cartel crates and the temporary casino event might exactly be the very reason why they don't put Pazaak in the game, because checking and arguing with the different authorities about all of it might be a big hassle. We all know that Swtor only has a skeleton crew left and my guess is that they don't want to create and maintain a new activity to the game that has the potential to blow up right in their faces. Regardless of all of our theories, they already said they won't add Pazaak and they will have their reasons.
  9. I hear you. It's also my go to game since the beginning, even though it has many, many issues and is maintained by a skeleton crew. I almost feel embarrassed when I tell other gamers that it is my favorite game. Almost.
  10. If you mean the cantina2018 character Flair, no the time to claim it is over. Sorry.
  11. It seems it was not BioWare's finest hour when they created the combat speech of Paxton Rall. Makes me want to slap him across his face and ask him when his finest hour finally arrives.
  12. it's a known bug of old that resurfaced after the latest content patch. Until it gets fixed again the only option is to put your comp on passive until they move a little further and put them on active again. Or you only engage close enemies when your ranged companion has moved all the way to your location. Annoying, but it works.
  13. I think you are looking for https://torf.mmo-fashion.com/reclusive-master/
  14. Definitely not a feature. You automatically rejoin a group after you log back in with your character and the fp is still in progress. Sounds to me like your group members were simply impatient and removed you from the group or they gave up and disbanded.
  15. Wondering about the intent behind this vacuous thread to be honest.
  16. Yes, you can freely mix and match. Wouldn't really be sensible otherwise considering the mirror class approach. You can only check whether specific classes have reached rank 300 via the achievements in the Legacy>Advancement section, but you won't find a tooltip or anything showing you the increase. You will just see the command points go up when killing mobs and finishing quests.
  17. While the game was applying the latest patch yesterday, my area unfortunately experienced a power outage. When I started the game again after the power was back, the patching process repeated itself for only a minute before it finished without any error messages. Apparently this still caused some issues, because when I start the game now I see the ingame loading screen for 3 seconds before the entire process shuts down and I get thrown back to the Desktop screen. The repair button is not working either because it is not clickable. Any suggestions?
  18. The main sound issue I have is that sometimes the music does not correctly fade into another piece and you end up hearing two musical scores at the same time. Can be funny at times but is mostly just annoying, and the worst part is that you can only get rid of it by completely closing the game and starting it up again. Been like that since the beginning.
  19. The new Wasteland Crusader's armor set is one of the best looking sets you have ever created in SWTOR. Thank you! Now please, please would you be so kind to add a color crystal modification option for the breastplate? The glowing eye on the back when drawing your weapon(s) is very nice and it would make it even cooler if you could change the color to your personal preference. To prevent stat advantages you could simply deactivate the stats when placed inside the breastplate like it is already done when you dress your companions. There are also some other armor sets with a glow effect that would really benefit from implementing this option, but I would be very happy with just the Wasteland Crusader's armor. Did I already say please...?
  20. Indeed. And would'nt it be nice if you get some acknowledgment for that?
  21. sure, It used to be much more grindy and I think you are in the vast minority to have that many rank 300 chars... But I still think it takes quite some effort to do it and you should get a legacy title for it. Especially compared to many other achievements that get you the most random titles and can be done in a heartbeat.
  22. Edit: I was very happy to see on the PTS that with the release of Onslaught BioWare will put all the galactic command achievements into the Feats of Strength category and plan to give specific legacy titles for all of them: Command rank 300 with any single class --> The Upper Echelon 300 with Knight --> Knight Commander 300 with Consular --> Consular Commander 300 with Smuggler --> Smuggler Commander 300 with Trooper --> Trooper Commander 300 with Warrior --> Warrior Commander 300 with Inquisitor --> Inquisitor Commander 300 with Agent --> Agent Commander 300 with Bounty Hunter --> Hunter Commander 300 with every single class --> The Resolute Commander Thank you! So if you guys want these titles, you only have till the 22nd of October to get them. Original Post: It's a pretty lackluster bonus that you get mere 20 Cartel Coins for each class. Considering the fact that this is probably the most time consuming and grinding achievement you can possibly accomplish with your legacy, I would think that at least a legacy title is in order. Something like "Galactic Commandment". I would also suggest to reward reaching the rank with the 4 republic and 4 imperial classes with something like "Republic Commandment" and "Imperial Commandment" respectively. I would be happy with just that, but I would go even further and reward this achievement with a unique Flair you can pick for your characters, so other players can immediately see what you have accomplished. You know very well that people love to brag (I sure would) and giving us these rewards would probably increase the willingness of players to grind for it.
