  1. That's where I am too, I have 4 level 50's and was leveling one (currently 31) only by PvP. I finally broke down at level 30 and went and did my class quests on DK for my ship, but this was only after 1.2. While I did the game their way on my 50's (heavy questing, with some PvP), this time I wanted to change it up to still have fun my way. So much for that. I know they said they are fixing the reward issue, but another problem I have is that 1.2 made same faction WZ maps a majority now, when it was just Huttball pre 1.2. If I don't want to PvP against the same faction I could leave Huttball upon entering just to avoid the chance it was same faction and to let someone fill my spot quickly. Now it's load in, wait until you see what faction, then either stay or leave. Leaving puts the team one person down, but it's not the players fault, it's the lack of the game informing us what WZ and faction we will be fighting when the queue pops.
  2. Actually it might be more like this scenario: Post constructive comments, get zero response from Bioware, get flamed, ignore flames, and try again. Post constructive comments, get zero response from Bioware, get flamed, respond to flames, and get warning. Post less constructive comments, get flamed, report flames, and reports ignored. Post complaints, because by this time you don't care and it's fun.
  3. Actaully if anyone remember that other Star Wars MMO, these colors were used over on those forums too.
  4. It's not a bad idea, but you know the QQing that will be done about who's companion is better geared vs. higher valor issues. To expand on your idea, if you ran with this idea and made it 4 on 4 WITH everyones companions out you would negate any QQing. Allow queues for companion and non-companion WZ's too, to kill off that QQ.
  5. For me the level 50 PvP is not the problem, it's the level 10-49 that was destroyed by 1.2.
  6. Is this a 21st century online game or a beta for some type of online version of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Of all the color choices, someone picks turd brown? Seems like everything Bioware is doing is backa**wards.
  7. Better yet, instead of the bolster to 49, why not make every person in PvP WZ level 10, even level 50's. Why spend months or years QQing about this skill or that skill being too OP, remove the whole damn tree being of value now and save the headaches and hassles.

  11. They are fixing the reward issue so I could now continue my leveling to 50 entirely through PvP, which is great. I'm still staying canceled though, because the game went from the minority of WZ's possibly being same faction to the majority. I don't like Novare Coast at all and I do not think it's now worth my money and time investments to currently spend the majority of my gameplay time in queues, go in, Novare Coast, leave queue. Queue again, Voidstar, same faction or not, wait, same faction, leave. Rinse and repeat all day long. To all of you still enjoying the game, that's great and I'm happy for all of you. It's just not fun for me any more.
  12. Still didn't matter if you had 15 medals and lost, the rewards were screwed up. Mainly the credits and comms, since I was trying to level a new character only through PvP. The lack of credits and comms made it impossible to try to keep my character updated on gear.

  14. Obviously by the post from DE earlier today, it appears that not only the vocal people on the forums, but enough subs altogether seems to have been canceled to warrant a fix. DanielErickson PvP -> On Warzone Scoring and Rewards Hey folks, Some follow up news from observations of play and feedback over the weekend. In the next couple of days we will be deploying a small patch that will address the following issues: As discussed, minimum medals to gain rewards will go from 3 to 1 to better reward those who are backfilled. Warzones will once again be shutting down when population imbalance is detected. This was an unfortunate bug where a feature of Ranked Warzones (in full team play it is not desirable to let one team end the game prematurely by quitting out) was incorrectly implemented globally. Completion of Warzones will gain a large increase in the percentage of rewards it represents, so while scoring is still the primary driver, you will cease to see games that give no rewards if players have a minimum of 1 medal earned. We are extending the time we wait for a full team of eight to better make sure Warzones pop with complete teams. A huge thank you to everyone who played this weekend and provided valuable feedback and analysis.

  19. I'm glad you've never been kicked out, but others have. I've been kicked back to the fleet, kicked to the character selection screen, and kicked to the server selection screen with an error code numerous times. I seriously doubt it was due to my computer, ISP, or anything else client side. Your 15 minute, 1 hour, and 48 hour suggestion would be a total nightmare for Bioware if they locked people out because of something server side and it was caught on fraps or a screenshot. I could even imagine some possible headlines to different non server related scenarios: "Player gets 48 hour PvP lockout from MMO because they leave a WZ early due to their <insert family relation> being injured as a result of a storm and rushed to the hospital. Weather was also the cause of two earlier d/c's for that same player within a 24 hour period, which lead to the 48 hour lockout." I've been in voice servers for years with people from all over the world and I can confirm from at least my experience that things happen while playing an online game and real life does not stop during MMO warzones.
  20. Yes, you can exhange them 10 mercs for 10 WZ's. I had to do it with 1000 of them. I know you can exhange them on the vendor where you buy the boxes, I don't know if you can on the other PvP vendors though.
  21. It really depends on what you want to do, re-roll and wait in queues, wait around to see if transfers ever happen, or quit. I personally just hit the cancel subscription button myself, but the choice is yours alone to make. Good luck in whatever you decide.

  24. This, everytime you explode after being infected you get 5 dna if you infect someone else as a result. Each infection takes at least 20 minutes from the point of infection to the point of exploding, can be longer depending on what you do in game too. You can also get the dna from the new quests on Tatooine, but those are only daily quests.
