That's the fun part about the forums, we all take bets in our voice server before someone goes to the forums to see what the topic is for the day. Every day: One person makes a thread and then you have to get 4 or more clone threads about the same damn issue instead of people posting in the original thread. Then a mod comes in and picks the topic title/post wording that fits best with Bioware and redirects everyone there regardless of if it was the first thread about the topic or not. Welcome to the world of captialist corporation socialism.
  2. I logged in around 4pm CST today and every NA and EU was at light population, first time I have EVER seen that.
  3. Remember that the pre-launch guild programs definition of CASUAL was less than 10 hours a week of in game play time, regardless of what style of play that was. While we (as a very large guild from past MMO's) were sent to seperate PvE servers and PvP servers due to those required choices, my guildies, and real life friends ALL picked CASUAL as their choice in the guild program because a handful of players only play(ed) a few hours a week. Most of us all played a hell of a lot more than 10 hours per week, but were probably still CASUAL in Biowares performance metrics. Bioware stating casuals as the reason probably only means that the majority of those that unsubbed were more than likely in the pre-launch guild program as a CASUAL, so the statement is actually factual. (From Biowares point of view.) Take all the factors required for the pre-launch guild program, PvE, PvP, RP, RP-PvP, East Coast, West Coast, Europe, English, French, German, Republic, Sith Empire, the other 2 or 3 choices besides CASUAL for in game time and it starts to make sense why there are so many servers. The question I have is if any other pre-launch guild program players on Belgoths Beacon or Kaas City picked something other than CASUAL? TL;DR Many players probably picked CASUAL (less than 10 hours per week in game) in the pre-launch guild program, played a lot more than 10 hours per week, unsubbed, but were in Biowares metrics as such leading to the "casual" subs statement.
  4. I think you might be a tad off on when that server spike was, unless yesterday was 1/25/2012, this thread is necro now.

    Best PVP server

Judging by the populations, or lack thereof, yes it seems to be pretty common.
  6. Gotta love necro, last post before about 4 hours ago: 1/25/2012
  7. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=452578 It's by date, not topic. However if you mean posts on what they are planning for 1.3, good luck with that is all I can say.
  8. I only thought of this when I read the title: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=14IRDDnEPR4
  9. Yes, I agree CS is really lacking in this game and IB4L.
  10. The sad thing is IF they even allow transfers to Fatman and Swiftsure, I would take odds that it will be PAID transfers only. We need a list of both FREE and paid from/to servers from Bioware now, early summer can wait for the actual transfer. People might actually stay subbed if this information was made available, kept factual, and not changed at the last minute.
  11. Population wise, Fatman, Swiftsure, and a couple of the RP-PvP servers would be the choices. Competitive/quality wise, I would say there are still quite a few guilds spread throughout the servers that are competitive and have quality players, how long they will wait for transfers is the big question/issue.
  12. I choose you Ashara-chu!
  13. WookieePower

    open pvp?

Maybe Fatman, Swiftsure, or some of the RP-PvP servers would be my guess where you MIGHT be able to find some on a regular basis.
  14. IB4L and cookie cutter response saying how much they appreciate both positive and negative feedback, please post in these ongoing threads, etc...
