  1. Genuinely surprised people don't want this, would totally change the feel of being on fleet imo.
  2. Dear Bioware, Please add "Mad about me" to the Fleet VIP Jukebox.
  3. Agreed, although there is the equally annoying "stop hating what I like" brigade too though
  4. It was in a shoddy state on release and communication was very, very poorly handled. Insanely high expectations was only partially brought on by the consumers, Bioware made a lot of promises and made a lot of quotes that they then didn't deliver or went back on. And people's perception that it's just turned into an EA cashcow, aimed at the lowest common Facebook gamer to generate money until they pull the plug doesn't help. The game is solid, the PvP is more balanced than the vocal forum PvPers will have you believe, the end game raid content is challenging enough that only a small percent can farm it, and levelling up is fun for the most part. It's not perfect, but it's a solid MMO with lightsabers.
  5. Hehe The new hotdog down a hallway is "it's like throwing a toothpick into the Sarlac"
  6. In my humble opnion, classes are pretty well balanced compared to other PvP MMOs. And I think that completely changing skill trees or making noticeab le PvE vs PvP differences would be harmful and confusing for the majority of the playerbase and still wouldn't result in top end PvPers being happy and less vocal.
  7. The idea that Bioware would be blind to what the customer wants, or what direction to take the game in or become complacent with their product without forum "complaints" is frankly, hilarious.
  8. My last fight ended with my hands covered with blood.
  9. There is a Darth Nigel on our server.
  10. The pack sets aren't what I'm after for a few reasons 1) They are random outfits, not really class "look" specific (not to mention the whole un-dyeable Lore outfits thing!) 2) I would rather pay outright for an outfit to be there straight away, than hunting about for each part on the GTN and spending in game credits which I'm pretty low on 3) I would like the sets available whenever I want, not just when those certain packs are available and therefor the GTN is full of the items at cheap prices
  11. I'm not aiming any of my disappointment personally at Eric or his team, who works there or not is none of my concern, I'm simply feeding back to Bioware as a company that things like this affects my (as a consumer) perception of the company I don't think that overeactions and the amount of outraged posts are needed, especially anything aimed directly at Eric. But I also don't think this miscommunication was trivial, or that combined with other poor communications (not all in the distant past) from the company, is frankly, good enough. Better than ever doesn't mean good enough. I work in corporate business too, and things like this would see many internal "boots to bottoms".
  12. I'm not going over the top with my criticism. But there have been many communication issues from pre-launch to now, and regardless of who is responsible now and who has been in the past, continual mistakes (even if small (very subjective)) don't help build or rebuild that trust, faith, happiness in the company. I have realistic expectations, I don't expect some ridiculous perfection of communication. But I expect better than we've received in the past, and are receiving now. And I don't think it's unreasonable to provide that feedback in a calm and constructive manner.
  13. How my characters look is an important part of why I carry on subscribing and logging in, but I have limited time to play around other real life responsibilities so being able to buy an outfit set on the CM is very convenient for me and is something I've done in the past on other MMOs (such as Lotro) There is currently quite a small selection of full sets available, so I would like to sincerely request at least one more fairly normal looking set (as in, not overly extravagant like many of the end-game sets) per class added to the CM I'm not bothered by the price, 2,000 CC to buy and unlock something like Clandestine Armour across all my characters is a fair price IMO. Many thanks,
  14. I'm not bothered about the availability of the product or not. But continual "ball dropping" with regards to communication doesn't help me have confidence in the business.
  15. Everyone should respect each other's playstyles and abilities, and should remember that it's real people at the other end of the game. Then the bads should **** off.
  16. EV and KP were pretty easy as far as hardest content goes. Subsequent content has been a tad more challenging and only a very small percentage of the playerbase will have S&V/TfB NiM on farm.
  17. I've never had anywhere close to 600k credits so no chance of me unlocking it. Seems like just a credit sink to me.
  18. There another one of a class saying something like "What is it like to be a Twi'lek?"
  19. Although personally I wouldn't care if you rolled need on it, I would say it's "ninjaing". Whether you're ok doing that or not is up to your own moral/ethical code - but it would be against the social norm in this environment.
  20. Someone should re-do the class progression videos with how characters realistically look as they level, ending in some godawful endgame armour set.
  21. Good players are good players, bad players are bad players - regardless of gear. I levelled up my operative to 55 in full Rakata and then started doing S&V and TfB SM and 55 Flashpoints with ease.
  22. He's right though, why would you ignore list him?
  23. Nobody "needs" anything in the game. It's all "want" Should change the rule to "Not bothered", "want", "really want" You can't pick generic terms with no specifics or details attached to them and expect everyone to hold the same meaning. I need to improve my stats, I need to improve my companion stats, I need to improve my credit balance by rolling on a piece of 75 gear I can't use but I can sell.
