  1. I find only a few things annoy me about the f2p of this game my biggest complaint is the 200k credit cap and 350k for those that spend a few real bucks is just simply not enough credits. The ability to take credits out of with cartel cash improves the situation but not by much, I would rather have the ability to spend CC on increasing the credit cap perm My second problem is the pvp cap. Now I dont even like to pvp myself but I dont like the fact that you can only do 5 pvp battles a week, this does make the pvp of the game lame because pvp is something that truly thrives on having a large player base.
  2. This has all been great feed back and this conversation has become quite a bit more active then I intended. Although I feel some people have misunderstood what I meant about complaining. I'm referring to people that just say mean things or use the "fix it or else!" line of bully tactics. Commenting about the game is ok, so long as its actually constructive. A lot of the time people just skirt the reasons why they are upset and call the developers names. I'm just saying that I think if more people would try being polite about what they would like to have in the game, they may see better results. Most notably I find that most people say something along the line of, "Fix (increase) the dps of such and such class, you morons!" but how are they to fix the dps? Is there a skill that seems underpowered? Do you have some pics or videos to demonstrate your point (I understand most people don't have the time to do this but its just a thought)? Why do you feel that the class needs its dps increased? Why not share your character build and equipment, maybe your dps is the result of a bad talent build or poor equipment? If you bash the developers there is little incentive to keep us happy, because I think its ultimately up to two things that keeps these games alive; profits and ceo/shareholders (or generally anyone in an authority position that did not work on the actual game themselves). While profits may not be affect to much by negative comments in a forum a ceo/shareholder may look at all the negative comments and think its not worth their time to pursue the game past a certain point. Not to mention generally nasty and *****y people in a forum may make some people not want to play the game. They may ask themselves, "Why do I want to put time or money into a game that people say is bad?" I know that I'm not the 1st person to say something about people complaining in a forum but I think it doesn't hurt to, once in a while, remind people that there are other ways to criticize without calling people names, because from what I've seen in many forums is that when people explain the reasons they are upset without name calling, developers like to keep those people happy more often then some bitter & nasty person.
  3. You know I've never understood why people think berating game developers will get them to change things. I mean, if people will complain no matter what a developer does then why try to appease you people, when the only incentive you give them is a ***** fest? If it was me I'd be thinking, "To hell with keeping these trolls happy." and I'd only be looking for ways to get paid as a result. Think of it like a child whining to get a cookie. If you give them a cookie, the crying child will only cry louder to get another cookie. After a while your stuck with a loud, obnoxious, over privileged, fat kid, otherwise known as a Forum Troll. The one tactic that's never used by you guys is encouragement. Instead you ***** and moan and for what? You still buy the crap all the same, or you don't buy it and they seek ways to get new members to pay for the game. So why don't you guys try talking about the things you do like. Why not try to being patient and polite about the changes you would like to have and try offer encouragement to achieve those goals, if for no other reason then to try doing things differently. Yes I see the irony of complaining about people complaining so my final comment will be to say, "You guys are great for providing for this game, please keep up the good work and keep this game alive so you and I can continue to play." Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Albert Einstein

You know what you got for the buy the Hutt Cartel early, getting the Hutt cartel early. Big surprise there! You got to play the expansion when it was released and had a head start on other people. Besides chances are they made the expansion free because they are about to release another expansion soon. The only complaint I feel is valid is how people that pre ordered Hutt were shafted out of 1000 CC and I do feel that its a bad strategy to alienate your loyal customers. Its a sad trend many companies have adopted because they realize that loyal customers are loyal. You'll pay for it anyway because you like the game. Going back to the whole encouragement trend, I say great idea guys. Please bring in new members because the more people that play the better this Massive MULTI PLAYER game will be. Further more I've been into f2p games that have failed, force to shut down pre maturely because of irate forum trolls and a lack of people spending money on the game. Don't complain when you see a new commercial instead of having some dweeb rebalance the classes. That new commercial is a good thing because it is marketing that keeps a business alive, why do you think i-phones did so well even though there were countless better smart phones out there. Brand name is everything when you are in an international market. So on a final note, I say thanks for the deal. I've renewed my account after months of not playing so it seems to me like their plan was a good one.
