  1. I have been levelling a character and doing all of the story/expansions for the pts rewards. Other than having a few floating heads with no bodies or weapons and no bodies, it has been pretty smooth. Until now. I run through the cutscenes before the FP "Objective Meridian", the loading screen for the FP comes up but when it finishes I am standing on fleet outside of the instance, there is no "complete flashpoint: Objective Meridian" quest in my log, just the story quest to finish the FP and I am locked out. There is nowhere I can find where I can pick up the quest. I have tried resetting the quest, same problem. Reset the quest, FT to a few places and try again, same problem. I reset, logged to desktop, restarted the game, went through the cutscene again and still come up with the same issue. This is a game breaker for me, as the sole reason for me wanting to do this FP is so I can finish the achievement that will get me the rewards. If anyone has a fix for this, I would appreciate some input.
  2. This, right here. I am old and can't see well anyway (even with my bifocals), having the creation sliders SO small on a 4k monitor gave me a headache trying to make a character. Any way you can make an option to enlarge it for us folk who have a 4k monitor and/or don't have 20/20 vision? Or just allow our in global settings actually be global as stated above?
  3. I don't usually come to the forums and post, it's just too much vitriol for me. But here I am this time. Maybe the fourth or fifth time in ten years. So here goes: My guild raids four nights a week, sixteen man most of the time and we generally pug 5 or so spots. Last night one person won every piece of set gear and broke it down before others could even ask if the person who won needed it or if they could buy/roll again/beg for it because the individual didn't know it was in their inventory (at least that was the story, who knows). Tonight another person got 6 satchels and another got 4 sets of isos while others got nothing. We usually keep track of that stuff and try and keep things fair but without the pop ups keeping track is a nightmare. We have loot rules and if someone goes way off kilter and refuses to follow we find someone else who will. Then, another person who has been passing on a deco he has never liked wasn't given the option to do that. He ended up trading it but it wasn't until the end of the raid and by then most people had left so who knows if there was someone out there who really wanted it but was just too shy to actually say anything or had no idea it had even dropped. I know I was surprised to find two satchels and two decos in my inventory along with the unspeakable amount of gear we get. I personally could care less about master loot. We never use it, I don't think any of the pug raids I've done over the years have ever used it, go ahead, get rid of it. But my inventory gets ridiculously filled with stuff anyway, so now I have to pay extra close attention and either pause (I'm a healer, no one wants to wait for that) and go through all of the stuff in my inventory to see what I got or scroll back up to see what others got to see if perhaps someone got something I may want. or I have something I don't want that they might. For a change that was supposed to bring about a more fair way of doing things it seriously missed the mark. I have been here through a lot of changes over the years and some have really irked me but I put my head down and work through it. Not this time. This system is bad. It just is. At least bring back need/greed/pass.
  4. I don't comment on the forums, I think the last time was when I asked for help finishing DvL. This, however... I can't believe this was added without there being a toggle to turn it off. Who actually thought this was a good idea? I commented on this numerous times on test... and yet, nothing. Very disappointing I don't play with nameplates on, I prefer a more immersive experience. This completely ruins that for me. Not to mention I am on seizure medication and have vision issues. The flashing lights are painful.
  5. This. This is exactly how I feel. I don't post on the forums much, I take the good stuff with the bad. Been gaming enough years to know that not everything is a home run because try as you might you can't please everyone. But this... honestly it felt like someone just said, "Throw some stuff together from what we already have and get some companions out to them. It'll save us time and money and maybe shut them up for a while."
  6. Rank 12 Sentinel: SB: 2 (Chest and legs) 1 purple ear 1 purple relic 1 purple lightsaber 3 schematics (I have gotten very lucky on this character) Rank 5 Merc (dps): 1 purple ear 1 schematic Rank 3 Marauder: Nothing of note. EDIT: I run Uprisings and flashpoints mostly. Burnt out on daily heroics, not ready for ops (imo) and don't care for pvp.
  7. I have finished all of DvL except for hard mode (working on those) flashpoints and the ops bosses. The friends I used to play with have all moved on to WoW, but that game is ... well, I simply didn't go. The queue time for Ops is constant. I don't think it actually ever places you in an Ops. So, this is what I can offer: 1. 216/208 geared dps Merc with a few augs. (Working on getting better gear) 2. Raiding experience from both EQ and WoW (not SWTOR - Haven't been brave enough for that... bad experiences) 3. An ability to follow directions 4. An IQ higher than my age and the common sense to go with it. 5. Anything else I forgot to mention that will get you to agree to helping me (within reason). What I need: 1. Help. (obviously) 2. Understanding - I have not ran any ops in SWTOR due to some really bad experiences in other games (I have been spoiled in the past, having a solid group of friends that I have raided with). 3. Some direction. I prefer to watch videos before going in to an op so I can see how a fight works, but a heads up before the fight is always welcome. I am in the eastern time zone of the US but my hours are late afternoon to early morning. I can raid from 8pm-ish to no later than 5am EST 7 days a week. I certainly wouldn't be adverse to joining a guild although I am currently in an extremely small one. While this is mainly for Imp side since my DPS Merc is the one I have geared the best, I have a DPS Commando I can work on getting 208/216 gear on quickly if Pub side is easier. Anyway. Stepping way outside my comfort zone on this by asking for help but hopefully someone out there reading this will take pity on me! Send an in game tell/email to Laeilla (imp side) or Ilyarra (pub side). Also, Most of my previous raiding experience is as a healer so if needed, I can work on switching out some gear and attempting it but I've only ever healed for regular flashpoints and world bosses in SWTOR so figure that in to my learning curve.
  8. Yes, I am having this same problem. He just stands there with his arm extended and the mobs all proceed to pummel on me. Tanking and DPS stance only, he heals you in healing stance. But as my operative is a healer that really does me no good. Mine is the original version of Doctor Lokin, not the KotFE version. Submitting a bug report in game also.
  9. Here as well. 49 Sith Assassin - Llyriel on Shadowlands.
  10. Ditto. Female Chiss Mercenary. As already stated, Mako won't progress in her storyline. All I get is this quest.
