Anybody know whats going on with gear and bolster. Does anything over 332 bolster down to 332? Do Augments make a difference or did they make those ineffective? Been looking at other players gear and everybody seems to have different combinations.

I don't see the purpose of another gear tier. A new level cap coming? New Operation or flashpoints that require it? NO. I have better things to do than to waste my time grinding for better gear, just to get better gear. I think im about done. Logged in for the 1st time in a while, and I was the only one on in my guild, which was pretty active for a long time. I checked last log in for guild members, and even the people who lived in the game have disappeared. I hate to say it, but I think the end is coming.

Wow, I thought people were being sarcastic referring to Lyala's win trading service. I looked it up and its real. People actually accepting and paying real money to get rating by cheating, crazy! Makes this whole rating thing irrelevant if ya ask me.

From what I seen the past month or so, you are talking about the majority of the player base. Been playing since launch, currently on Star Forge, and I cant recall the player base being more clueless and bad than it is now. Seems like a lot of newer players, and I blame the cluelessness on instant level tokens, and being able to power level to 70 by letting your companion do everything while you are afk. I've tried to whisper some players and give some basic advice. Some were receptive, some had no idea what I was talking about, and some told me to leave them alone. If somebody approaches me, I will help all day long, but that's it. I find this game to frustrating these days to care anymore.

Wow, what a broken system! I play ranked from time to time, and do OK. I took a break because I was getting frustrated with all the BS that is associated with it. Knowing this just killed any ambition of playing it again.

Honest question, I know what backfilling is, but how does it work to benefit somebody's rating?

I think they might reduce guard to maybe 20% damage reduction, and having it increase with more tanking stats. So if you don't have any tank gear, your guard effectiveness will be small. This would force tanks to get rid of some dps gear which would lower their damage output. Maybe apply that to taunts too. Who knows, they will probably make it worse and take 8 months to fix it...

I remember the good old days when things like this were a challenge. You had to actually us an interrupt and certain timed abilities to get through a fight. Now you can literally, walk away from the keyboard, go take a shower , cook dinner, and the companion will have completed the fight for you. You literally have to do nothing. Whats the point?? This is the reason why PVP is filled with horrible players that don't know anything ,and pugging into a sm op can be a bad experience. Nobody knows how to play anymore, because they never had to learn! I'm about to follow my former guild members who have abandoned this game because they were not having fun anymore. Its so dumbed own its sad really.

Wintrading, throwing games, hacking, trolling, mat farming etc, you all need to realize the Devs could care less about it. It is what it is, nothing is going to change.

Quick question, I skipped most of the chapters from KOTFE and did the Iokath stuff. I resumed my romance with Elara, and it gave me a mission named Things left unsaid. This appears to be where I break up with Lana. Anyways, I try to go to the mission location, and nothing happens. Something I need to do, or is this mission broken, like most things in this game?

A lot are just burned out. How many times can yo do the same thing over and over and over. Need new quality content, sadly, that won't happen.

I agree, been playing since launch. The group that I played with for years, has left, and most said they have no desire to come back. We loved to raid, but no interest in doing this new Op that takes forever to release in full. One boss every few months is not going to bring people back. It's so obvious the original crew who made this game so great are long gone.
