Only complaint I have is that on my main and alts, I'm at 250 relics and maxed weekly rep. There isn't really much to do/buy the first week since you don't meet the rep requirements. I think I hit them after maybe 2 rounds of dailies, so it's a bit of a snooze fest right now waiting. All in all, it's been great though!

Same for me. At first I thought it may be a visual bug, but the Presence granted @ 50 Influence is now what would be from level 1. Looks like this will have to wait for the next update/hot fix.. I was so looking forward to actually use her on content.

Have you ever played any MMO or any open-sandbox-type game in general? Grinding will always be there.

I recently came back and was able to snag a 230 set from the GN. So far I've had 0 issues after putting Augs on all of the pieces. I'd recommend sinking some time/credits into increasing your Companion rank if you plan of soloing a lot, too.

As others have said, best thing is to Unsub. Make sure to put the reason why (Companion Nerf or something like that in the reason).

Where the OP is wrong, regarding Immersion is: When we go back the the old planets, they don't say;"Hey Darth X or Jedi Master Y" they talk as if you were at that planet in the story. The "Immersion" is on their side and not yours..

I can't wait for more of these posts.. They always bring a smile to my face. Someone needs to just make a template for people to complain how the Maintenance/Patch times interfere with their prime playing time.

This game is actually set before all the 6 movies. Some of the basic plots are there, such as Jedi and Sith, and there are several parallels between the two. If you really want to get the back story I'd suggest either playing KOTOR 1 and 2, or if you don't want to do that, check out a wiki with the plot break downs. It depends on how you want to experience the story before SW:TOR.

Make sure you get a good video card, a decent CPU, a mess of RAM (Depending on what your motherboard can take) and a good cooling system (I have liquid and swear by it) if you plan on any type of overclocking. Like others have said, you might want to educate yourself and build your own, but there are several companies that will let you mod a nice system/rig on your own. It's always nice to know how to build one, so you can upgrade on your own or even fix any problems, such as a loose connection. Also, look for a warranty. If you drop 3-4K on a good gaming system, what is another 200-300 to protect against something that might happen down the line. If money is an object, you can always get a nice pre-built PC and then upgrade as time allows. Beware of some companies and, for Sith sake, read reviews!

Minus the GSI that was mentioned above, groups of Standard/Weak should go down pretty easy with Lightning Storm and the Chained Lightning proc. If you need a bit more, you can always proc on of your Lightning bolts via Force Speed. Then there are the other two instant attacks, which I forget what they are called at the moment. One thing that I think some Sorcerers forget to do is to use their Force bubble on both themselves and their companion as well. Also, I'd advise that you use a Tanking companion, since they can soak a lot more damage that you can.

I've been around since Day 1/ Early Beta, Haven't been subbed the entire time, due to breaks in my playing schedule though.

Same thing for me, slow work day and this is making it a bit more bearable. People took advantage of an exploit. Some did it on purpose and they will be dealt with accordingly. Those whom, may have done it "accidentally" or only 1 time are getting off with a warning. They want you to know that you were part of the exploit and are warning you about future "Hey this might be too good to be true" moments. Be glad that you only received a warning and nothing more and move along. Or sit and complain about how you are someone special and see how far that gets you. Me personally, I read the message in the Launcher when I got home from work and steered clear of that vendor. Not worth the time or pain to be even on the logs as buying something from it.

I'd like to see the ignore and the friends list be account as well. I don't know how many times my brother has made an alt and I get a random tell from him and think it is just random.. Edit: This post would probably do better in the Suggestions rather then in General too.

Daellia, I think that some people are thinking that you are talking about what they should have for a parsed DPS instead of what the class/spec should have. If someone wants to figure out what their DPS is, they should try it out on PTS or wait until 1.2 comes out and try it out live. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but what you are doing is trying to figure out what our DPS should be, if we are under "perfect" conditions, which is a great mark to compare what our max DPS should be. I know I wouldn't want to be the one who says "All Sorc DPS should be based off of my parse." Mainly because I am human and would most likely not have the best of the best gear/buffs/ect. I've always said this to my friends. I don't know how, from a "balance standpoint" could anyone think that 0 sith and 1000+ Jedi is balanced. But from a movie aspect I guess I can bite on it for the fact of storyline.

If you don't like it develop and publish your own MMO.... But then someone will still rip it apart with accusations that it is dying less than a month after launch. They will never please everyone, you are on one end of the spectrum and I am on the other. If I want a hardcore PvP game I'll go play a FPS on a console and not worry about someone who can get better gear because they sit at their PC 24/7. If you don't want to give them a chance then that is your deal, move on and let us worry about this sinking ship. Look at SWG, they had declining subscriptions for a long time but it took till this month for it to close. And posting the same thing over and over and over is a great way to get it locked, it is not some conspiracy against those who are talking bad about the game. Have a good time with what ever MMO you want to play.

I was SO tempted to buy this and the keyboard from Razer. The only problem was that I could not wait. I deceided to get the Naga Epic Mouse and after getting used to it, it really helps with my hotbuttons. I love the fact that i can finally use my lazy thumb on my right hand and heal/sheild/ interrupt very quickly. The price tag for this and the Naga Epic are both worth it.

Our final talent in the Healing Tree is an AoE Heal. I'm only level 32 atm, but I don't have an actual non-talent AoE heal.

I apologize if it sound like that was where I was going, my only suggestion to everyone is to give it time. I know that's not what anyone wants to hear, espically around the holiday because most people have time off. The problem is that everyone wants it fixed right now and that usually leads to quick fixes that need to then be fixed again and again. I'm not looking forward to getting home tonight at 5pm and waiting to get to into more for my SI story, but there's not much I can really do about it.
