Hi all, I am a tank spec assassin and just have a quick question about 3 companions. I still haven't decided between Azshara and Andro in terms of DPS companion. I've read that Azshara is more suitable on a 1-on-1 target while Andro is more AoE damage, is that right? Also, I read somewhere that I need the healer companion (Talos?) for the last "boss" in my act. Do I need to gear him up or will he do ok with his default gear? I figured I will be using the DPS companions mostly so I want to gear Andro or Azshara. Also, apart from badges, is the GTN the only way to gear up companions? Thanks!

Hello all, I'm planning to make a sage and level as a healer but I wanted to get some opinions first. How is leveling as a healer? Can I start off from level 10 as a healer or is there a point where healing really "picks up"? (I.e. with my assassin I waited until level 32 to start tanking) Thanks a lot!

Hey Genx, how did you level? or What spec? I am leveling my Op right now, it just seems to me that Merc companions are more "suitable" for dps leveling while Ops can pull off healer leveling.

the "problem" that i often run into changing into a healer/tank etc spec later on is gear. For instance on my Assassin, I leveled DPS until 32 and then switched to tank. Now I'm having a tough time finding tank gear, and until lvl 40 i can't use the pvp gear. In terms of stats, lets say I level as DPS and switch to healer at level 32 ish etc, do gears have similarities? I.e if I gear up for DPS, can I just switch to a healer spec by changing a few mods in my gear?

At what level do BHs get their 2nd companion? It kinda sucks to level healer, along with a healer companion. I guess you don't really die, but is it fast enough?

In terms of soloing quests, do you find it difficult? Does it only pick up after a certain level? And in terms of healing, how do you like the class? Thanks a lot!

Hello all, I just finished Act I and acquired Azshara Zavros. (for those who hasn't finished act I, don't read the spoiler) I believe I will be using her from now on. My question is, is there only 1 companion "main quest"? I just want to know whether I should invest in companion gifts to unlock more quests or not Thanks!

Hello all, I want to pick up some of the above skills, but would like to know if there is a "proper way" of doing the missions for them to maximize profits. I already have Slicing, bioanalysis and scavenging, I just want different professions on alts. So, should I be going for certain rewards when I send my companions on missions? I.e. slicing I only go for lockboxes, I don't send out anyone on missions for Bioanalysis and/or Scavenging. I'm also open to the idea of combining them with crafting missions, if it'd maximize profits. (other than Biochem+Bioanalysis) I'd appreciate all the help!

I use Andy as a 23/0/2 spec too. My question is, is Azshara (is that her name? the Jedi) better at DPS? I have a long way to get Talos, so I will make that decision when I get there, but between Andy and the Jedi, which one suits a tankassin more?
