I definitely think that Ravage needs to be reworked. Either the damage on Ravage needs to be greatly increased for the final strike or the attack itself needs to have its channel time reduced to 2 seconds regardless of spec. A problem with simply increasing the damage of the final strike is that while this MAY solve the PvE problem of Ravage being a DPS loss it doesn't solve the problem still suffered in PvP and that is the fact that a melee class has to stand still for that long. Most of the time your opponent will be able to escape the hit box before the final strike. The only times where it is even remotely excusable to use the ability is if you're currently rage starved for whatever reason or the enemy is currently incapacitated. I would say that reducing the channel time to 2 seconds is the best way to go. It would increase the damage you do with that GCD, make it far more likely that all 3 hits will connect before your opponent leaves the hit box, and reduce the time you're simply standing there. I know some people don't like the idea of a channel time but if Bioware insists that a channel time be present on this ability because they want the animation to look a certain way (see; really cool) then I think this would be the best option.

I'm staying. Most fun I've had in an MMO for a long time. Yes, there are issues. I'm not going to spin that one. But despite those issues I'm having a blast. I can only imagine how much more fun it will be once certain things are worked on and new things are added.

Let me just say this OP. Once you get on Hoth you will wish you were back on Nar Shaddaa. Assuming you haven't been there already. I will take a corridor-world over a barren snowscape with a boring storyline any day. Tatooine had more personality than Hoth.

Iach, I personally avoid Metacritic. From what I've seen in the past they have a habit of taking anyone and everyone's review of a game and adding it to their score. They even added scores from sources that aren't videogame websites and who only review games as an afterthought. They also like to add the reviews of websites whose legitimacy as any kind of videogame websites are questionable at best. I use Gamerankings.com myself. They have a list of rules in order to qualify the reviews of certain websites. If those websites do not meet those standards then they do not get counted in the final score. Unfortunately as of right now there are only two reviews that have been counted for TOR on Gamerankings. You need between 20 to 40 reviews before you can start getting an idea of what the critics thought of it.

As someone said earlier, you're acting like they don't have separate teams working on all aspects of the game. That if they do C then they can't do A and B. If you and three of your friends were making dinner do your friends have to wait to cut the vegetables, butter the bread, and pour the drinks while you cook the meat? These problems will be fixed. By another team. In the meantime, the team that works on group PvE content will be giving us things like this announcement.

They can't give us everything all at once and it just happens that a new Flashpoint and new bosses in an existing Operation is what they're giving us in a content patch next month. We don't even know if that's all we're getting and if it is it's no big deal. A month after launch we're seeing new content. You don't like Flashpoints or Operations? Fine. Don't do them. The PvPers aren't really getting anything from this patch either apparently unless I missed something. There will be something for everyone as this game progresses. If you honestly expect this game to come out with a patch that continues your story with full voice-over cinematic dialogue well I'm sorry but you're out of your effing mind. Something like that will take an expansion. Do you have any idea how much effort they need to put into something like that? Some of you people are just absolutely ridiculous with your expectations, your whining, and your sense of entitlement. A lot of you may not be 10 years old but you sure stopped maturing at that age.
