Mine was accidentally just happened last night on the good ol'l Brotherhood series. I've saved the day. I have Bowdaar as a companion. Woman looks at me and says something like "would it be ridiculous if I closed my eyes and said take me away...." *Suddenly the terrain fades away for a second and the disembodied voice of Risha say in a harsh tone says "Yes"... ...back to the regular map and conversation.

Was it moved? I see this in the smuggler section. Sorry if I posted it in the wrong place initially, I did try to look around to see if the original post was in one of the other forums or if there were any other threads about this.

It appears Bioware deleted this the first time I posted it, or else I just can't find it because Bioware didn't give us the tools to search the forums. The writing on the Brotherhood mission is an insult to smugglers.

Beyond fixing the Wampa attacks - I'm told there's a fix coming for the overdone bleeding - the writing is atrocious.

You are not a drove. I'm enjoying the game, including PvP (which I've played from level 20 or so on up with my main, who is now level 40). So I doubt there are droves leaving. No one from my guild has left.

Sorry. Were you on the misconception that the only people who can talk about PVP are people who play on PVP servers? That makes you really, really dumb.

I have a 6-month subscription. By then I figure I'll have 8 characters at level 50, and we'll see what they've added at that point. It's my favorite MMO ... and yes I've played WoW (for a few weeks before deciding it wasn't for me).

It's not a failure at this point. There are some people with zero credibility trying to state it's a failure as though that's a foregone conclusion. Those people are stupid. It's too early to make a statement about that from a business perspective.

Not an issue with Smuggler. The class story gets better after Chapter 1.

Smuggler writing is great. So unless you mean "sounds like Varric, give somebody a raise for that," you're completely off the mark.

By arguing with her on this point, you seem to be showing you think "beating WoW (out the box no less) is the sole definition of success for this or any other MMO. I played a few MMOs, years ago. Tried that other game and hated it. Preferred LOTRO. I'm having a blast with this game and plan to continue playing it as it expands, just like any other succesful MMO. Again, gotta love the Warcraft fanboys trying to convince themselves this game fails.

People must have learned to respect gunslingers since this thread died down. Good imp groups hunt my gunslinger down and he gets the brute squad on sight, or that's how it seems.

I could use advice on this as well. The trouble I find with gunslingers in PVP is that PVP usually involves running battles, and half of the gunslinger's abilities call for the toon to be stationary and in cover. It's ok for guarding turrets and doors, but terrible for moving battles. I'm new to PvP in general, and any advice I can get would be appreciated.

I don't want a refund. I'm having a blast. And...wait for it, wait for it... Stay on target... CanIhaveyourstuff?

Then there's the next big secret: You cannot pass while CC'd. Can you explain that to the people who, in the past few days, just figured it out and now constantly say "pass pass pass, dude why didn't you pass" when you have the ball? There's times when I feel like it was a heroic effort (literal use of the word) to get the ball away rather than into the hands of an opposing player when we're close to our own goal, or when I've passed to an opposing player who was about to die and had people ***** about giving the ball away.

Just to reinforce what others have said, hunker down is essential if you use cover.
