These rare crystals and speeders being made easily attainable to all in patch 1.1.5 is only temporary. The patch notes clearly indicate they will only be available until 1.2 goes live (some have indicated that window only to be two weeks long). Besides, the crystals are ridiculously expensive; not every Tom, Dick, and Harry is going to have these crystals before 1.2 goes live.

Wasn't it a public holiday in the US yesterday (President's Day)? I'm pretty certain that's why there wasn't server maintenance yesterday and why it's being conducted today.

"Q: Do you like SWTOR in it's current state?" This is a difficult question to answer because any MMORPG is never in the same state as it was in the previous patch, contenct update, hotfix, etc. Do I like SWTOR? Yes, I love the game. Do I think things need to be fixed/tweaked/changed? Yes, I do. What specifically needs to be fixed/tweaked/changed - in my opinion - is already being worked on by Bioware and coming down the tunnel in terms of patches, etc.

It's very difficult to gear all of your companions fairly/equally using quest rewards only. The quest rewards force you to favour one particular companion and gear them according to your own needs and play style. I have all of my companions in decent gear (some Tionese, some Columi, etc.) but I've only been able to do this by spending commendations or tokens that I have no use for or by going to the GTN and purchasing gear for them. I didn't have to do this for all of my companions but I have made sure that the companion I use the most often is the best geared of them. My suggestion: pick your favourite/most useful companion, select quest rewards specifically for them and be willing to spend some credits on the GTN if you want to gear them up better.

I also don't see the point in purchasing 'Rank 2' and 'Rank 3' speeders at this point either as the margin between 90 and 110 per cent movement speed is unnoticeable and insignificant. If they want to make 'Rank 2' and 'Rank 3' speeder mounts desirable and worthwhile then they need to increase the movement speed bonus they give you. For example: Rank 1 should remain at 90% Rank 2 should increased to 110% Rank 3 should be increased to 125-130%

I've subscribed for six months and plan to subscribe for six months at a time. Why? Because I'm part of an active guild so there's plenty for my main level 50 to do in the way of raiding, dailies, and helping out others with quests (namely Heroics/Hard Modes). If it's not a raid night or if there aren't any guildies that need any assistance with anything, then I'll play an alt.

Flashpoints are team-based missions and never intended to be soloed. It just sounds like you don't like teaming up/are not part of a guild/don't have friends online to play with.

I always played tank classes in the other MMORPGs I subscribed to; I wanted to do something different with SW:TOR.

A night with SW:TOR 7:30pm - log on to game, check in-game mail 7:35pm - activiate personal holo-dancer in the middle of the Republic Fleet cantina for credits 7:38pm - well that didn't take long 7:39pm - do bog laps around the Republic Fleet and call out obscenities to the male Jedi Consulars (wearing skirts) 8:10pm - time for a Hard Mode Flashpoint 9:10pm - back to the Republic Fleet for more bog laps and holo-dancing 9:26pm - play an alt - a Jedi Consular sounds good 9:42pm - stop playing Consular... felt too good wearing a skirt 9:43pm - back to Ilum/Belsavis dailies... this **** never gets old! 10:50pm - chill at the Republic Fleet cantina... wave lightsaber like glow-stick and make "Whoop! Whoop!" sounds 11:15pm - PvP. 11:16pm - Huttball. Nevermind. 11:17pm - play a Sith ... another skirt wearer

I'm sticking around; I want to at least get through all of the class storylines and have two or three level 50s to raid with.
