  1. Nope, there are tons of flashpoints going on my server. I see it in chat all the time. But why do I need to do them? If I don't raid then no point doing those to gear up. And sadly, you can skip flashpoints and jump right into raiding in this game. Which means most of the time you are in a guild and that pretty much stops people from going outside their guild to find a group. There is allot more playing into people not grouping than its because of the tool.
  2. I know some people who are in guilds that have a different experience. I am 50, did my first group stuff a few days ago. I wasn't lfg, I wasn't flagged lfg, and yet I managed to find myself in a group and we had tons of fun doing heroics and knocking of quests for each other. I was even asked to join a guild.
  3. If there is all these people spamming LFG how come none of them are grouping up? I do not see how you come to the forums and say you spent 2 hours lfg and didn't accept any of the groups being spammed in chat. If no one is spamming then maybe most aren't looking for group because the following. They prefer to play solo. They are in a guild and run group content with a guild. I picture all the pro LFG people standing in a room saying they wish they had people to do stuff with and then they all leave by themselves.
  4. A blue faced skirt wearing two-handed sword wielding scottsman is nothing to take lightly. Someone from the Vatican with a glow stick....not so much.
  5. Thats because they want you to hang out by your ship so you can zone in and out to get the missions you need. Its the missions meta game.
  6. Removed it so they can add it back when everyone QQs and they look the hero. Seems plausible. All I know is I am tired of looking at a robe that looks like someone painted on the pockets and details. And the helmets....peacock or diaper......... I think the issue is the Hero engine not being able to perform as they need and they are still trying to make the game fit into the engine instead of building the engine to fit the game.
  7. I don't know the lore but isn't this the time of the Sith? Come back for revenge and all... If so then kudos for everyone for role playing.
  8. You didn't get to level cap in 3 days in Vanilla WoW and they didn't give you money to buy everything you needed.
  9. Yes, its easy to out level the content if you play the game. If you don't want to level gather mats and play the crafting slot machine. Or sit in fleet and run companion missions.
  10. Ironman or peacock helmet.....which one you wearing?
  11. You all keep saying there is the LFG spam going on but I have to wonder. How come none of these people can seem to find each other? I have played this game solo right up to yesterday when I responded to LFG in chat and ended up doing 4 heroics and was asked to join a guild.
  12. ======================================================== Let me bring this post to your attention and bold the important parts. Why I feel the need of some sort of DPS meter/total dmg done | Today , 06:43 PM Ok so after our guild being together for 3 weeks, we are 9/10 nightmare mode. And so now, we have the fights figured out and pretty clean strats. So now what? Kill, get the same gear and keep killing? In my mind, meters take off the edge of repetitive kills. You can push yourself to be better. No need for world of log rankings or anything like that. Just something to be able to push yourself to be better. As it stands, the only time you know dps is down is when an enrage timer goes off. Now this could be from a number of issues. Dps might stop to throw a heal on the tank while a healer gets tossed around or even toss a heal on a dps who took some bad spike dmg. But in any case, playing just to kill the boss gets stale quick. I remember back in WoW, those first kills were amazing! The feeling of taking a boss down, you just felt that teamwork and the excitement of the kill. But when it was on farm? Well all you could do was tweak your rotation, work on timing, and push yourself to up your personal dps. The boss was going to die, that was a given. At least that sense of personal improvement helped you look forward to something. Without a meter, its like running a marathon without a timer going. You know you can go the distance but how do you know when you're doing better? How do you push yourself to be your very best? I do like the idea of having just a personal dps meter as I can see how things went bad in WoW when it was 'do 20k dps or ****'. I honestly dont care if people believe what my screen is telling me Im pulling. And being in a guild, theres no reason anyone of us would lie to the other and the screenshot button seems to be proof enough among friends. I just feel like if they want a long term end game project to work, you need things like meters to keep min/max players busy. Or even casual competitive people like myself something to look at and push to improve on. TLDR: I would like meters for personal performance measurements and self improvement.
  13. our guild being together for 3 weeks, we are 9/10 nightmare mode Seems to me that they have beaten the game without the need of dps meters. Wasn't that what you all said..."how would we beat the content?"
  14. If I was to believe the LFG tool people I would imagine 100 people standing next to each other saying they wish they had people to do stuff with and after talking about it they all leave by themselves.
  15. I have never paid a monthly sub for s single player RPG.
  16. If so many are spamming chat with LFG why are so many people ignoring it? If there is no LFG in chat it couldn't be that most are in a guild and don't look outside the guild? Could it be that if they need one or 2 more members they go with companions? If I was to believe the LFG tool people I would imagine 100 people standing next to each other saying they wish they had people to do stuff with and after talking about it they all leave.

  18. The only ones worth buying are the ones with the augment.
  19. I loved that quest. But back to the post...... Your post would make sense if at the end of that quest.... Getting the shawl was up to and RNG and if you didn't get it you had to start the quest all over.
  20. I see a balance issue. Only vets will have access to the powers and new players wont. The biggest QQ will come from PvP where some people only have one toon. Since they have one toon then there is no legacy......as they are the first. Or, the legacy is just inferred and has no real substance other than a way to add abilities.
  21. Don't make a reference to going to the doctor and him asking you to cough because the mods will give you a warning. This made my day.....I had a good laugh. Thank-you to whoever the mod was.....I needed that laugh.
  22. No distorting going on. If I was to believe all these people who say they try for hours to find a group and they couldn't I would have to wonder the following. How come everyone is spamming lfg in chat but somehow no one seems to be able to find a group. If chat is filled with nothing but LFG then why aren't these people sending a whisper saying they are interested?
  23. And what is exactly wrong with that? So what if the world as a whole progresses slower moves slower. What are we racing to?
