I thought the selling point of this game that makes it stand out from the others was the story.
How come the story ends before you hit endgame?
You would think that they would find a way to mix the two.
Like EQ did with the epic quests. The epic quests was your personal quest that every class had and they required raiding and grouping to be completed.
Seems to me that the EQ epic quests model would have fit in perfect with this game.
But these days that wont work because most of the people playing MMOs like this one want instant gratification that they can obtain by themselves.
People who play at endgame are a minority these days. And the gaming companies are making the games for the most profit.
Easy, no challenge solo play = profit.
Challange/time commitment = not as much profit.
