Don't quote me on this but i think the +41 stat crystals will be available but only from the very top end content. At least i THINK thats the case maybe someone better informed than i am can confirm this. So i would say if a casual wants a +41 stat crystal they get it tonight. Also purchase the white crysal and any of the discontinued mounts.

I havn't experienced romance on any other classes yet but yeah Nadia sort of just springs the romance options on you. Its all very rushed, now whether that is the same for everyone or its just a problem for the Consular as we get her at like 40-45 i don't know.

I'm only around lvl 33 on my Sentinal and am closing in to the end of chapter 1, but i feel i can give the answer already. That is the Knight Story and companions so far are so much better than the consulars. Its actually quite unlucky the Consular has been given the worst story and the blandest companions. Qyzen Fess- Kind of ok he really only cares for his score. In fact the only reason he seems to be around is so he can gain back his points for the Scorekeeper (Transdosian God). It will be a long and arduous task getting any kind of affection with him playing lightside. Tharan Cedrax- I actually quite like him and his extremly usefull sidekick Holiday. One of only two consular companions with a real personality. People tend to either love him or really hate him. Zenith- The other companion with a real personality. You may hate him at first on Balmorra but he is fighting a cause he believes in. Kind of a bad-good guy. LT Iresso- Possibly the worst companion of any in the whole game. He is completely devoid of any personality whatsoever. You could literally swap him for any NPC in the game and you probably wouldn't notice. Its like BW ran out of ideas and so dumped some boring, generic Republic officer on us. Nadia Grell- She is hard to hate really because she is so nice. But she's like some pining schoolgirl that has a massive crush on one of her teachers or something. If you go down the romance option aswell you will see it was a total rush job. She can go from newly aquired Padawan to wife in the space of an hour. I know its only my opinion here but i've read most of this thread and i have to go with what the general consesus is, and that is the Knight has by far the most interesting companions.

I think they should leave it as is. This sort of thing encourages team work.

I was in the same boat as you OP, i really wanted a white crystal. However i have since dropped my jedi anyway and my new main is a Smuggler so i'm not too bothered about colour crystals anymore. You would be much better off saving 2 million credits for the soon to be discontinued Korrealis mounts for two reasons; 1. They have hinted that the white crystal may make a return in the game, although you are talking late this year at the earliest. I think i've seen a dev post somewhere stating at least after update 1.4. 2. The white crystals stats at some point in the future are bound to become obsolete at end game. Where as the Korrealis mounts will not (unless they bring in faster mounts but thats highly unlikely). Anyway thats what i've done. Back to your original question we will definatly know before it releases when it will actually release. I estimate the last week of April.

I've played Ord Mantell with a smuggler twice due to deletes and rerolls and i'll be starting a scoundrel after 1.2. The last two times and my third time i have and will do the same as always. Thats choose every flirt option available, proposition her for some quiet time:cool: and then off the b***h when she double crosses me

I havn't made him yet but have reserved the name for my future Smuggler Jax'parro and i'll be using the title "Captain" we get at like lvl 2 or 3. Not that funny i know but i find it easy to amuse myself

I've only done the Consular story to the end but i dont't think any other class story will need to be that good to be better. I've found the Trooper story so far to be the best i've experienced yet and the Sith Warriors isn't bad either.

I was just about to log in aswell, thats my play time this evening out the window. You Yanks are sweet you still have most of the day to play.

I'm only lvl 28 atm so a good 15-20ish lvls away still. I always planned to roll a knight at some point but after some idiot posted the spoiler of who our final fight is with and learning that we get Scourge as a companion i made making my first alt a Knight top priority. But yeah after reading Reven, although what he did at the end surprised me, overall i liked the character and can't wait to meet him in game.

He is by far the toughest boss for the Consular so luckily he is the peak of difficulty in our class story. Anyway I was full seer specced and my most geared companions were Qyzen and Nadia after about 5 attempts some ending in my death or just running away like a little girl to reset him. I decided after a little research to try Tharan, now bear in mind i hadn't geared him since obtaining him on Nar Shaddaa so he was in lvl 25-26ish gear. Using a combination of my 4 possible interupts (Force Wave, Force lift, Force stun, Mind Snap) Tharans insane interupt/stun and LoSing Stark using the wall outside that small room i was able to finally kill him. Tharan being undergeared i did have to heal myself alot more and i did miss a few of Starks heals so the fight went on for quite a while. To sum it up i would really recommend using Tharan for this encounter and if you are not heal specced yourself or are a shadow I would recommend gearing him up if you don't use him alot aswell. Yeah when i geared him up for the last boss fight his goatee turned into a moustache as soon as i had him rocking a cowboy hat. Not too botherd but i did really like the goatee lol.

If you are Watchman that means you have already chosen Sentinal as your Advance Class and therefore should already be able to duel wield as its an automatic passive ability. You should also have got a bag put into your inventory, open that up and you should get a second Lightsaber

Seer Specced Sage here, I used Qyzen all the way to Nadia. He was already geared and i had no problems with him. I used Nadia until end game then, sure it was a bit of extra work keeping her up but she is way more interesting and does more dps than Qyzen. Also never underestimate the usefulness of Tharan even as a healer myself, I used him for our last two story Bosses. Personally i think all our companions are very viable for 90% of the content.

The worst i've experienced so far is Taris, very confusing to navigate and never ending. Also after having to deal with Rakghouls in KotOR i got bored of them pretty quick. Im nearly done with Corellia and i may change it to that soon because its even worse than Taris to navigate the mobs are spread out to a point but then there are some really frustratingly congested areas at the same time, theirs also hardly any quick travel points. Voss and Tython have been my favourites so far.

I'm not thinking too much into it but nerfing or even removing the mods from the daillies would bring the Artifice,Armstech and Cybertech back into play with their respective mods with one fell swoop and armourmech and Synthweaving aswell if you don't use orange armour therefore wouldn't need mods. Make maybe some drops from HM flashpoints a tad better this way the only gear better than crafted would be Operation drops.

This was by far my hardest boss fight so far. I was lvl 43ish full seer specced sage i failed about 5 times as it was so hard keeping Qyzen and myself healed whilst trying to interupt Starks heals and high damage attacks and he casts them in such quick succession that sometimes all of your interupt abilities are on cd. Anyway its actually quite funny how i did it. I pulled Tharan out bearing in mind i'd never used him and he still had the gear he came to me with (we are talking lvl 27-28 stuff). I pulled Stark out of the small room into the big one where I could LoS him easier. Tharans interupt was such a massive help here (his heals not so much bcus of his low gear) the fight was a long one as i missed a few of his heals, but i got him down in the end.

Full Seer specced Sage here (so im used to healing) lvl45 so i've only had Nadia on Voss so far. I used Qyzen up until i got her and tbh he bores the pants of me. A pack of normal/weak mobs go down literally in about 8 seconds thanks to both our AoEs. With Strong mobs i'm healing a bit more but they are going down at about the same pace as if i'd used Qyzen seeing as im healing more than dpsing. Elite mobs after i put my initial Dots on the target its healing duties for me as Nadia is just as squishy as me, but again her dps makes up for it. One thing i have to be very careful of now is the threat she generates isn't great so i have to hold back at times. Anyway shes much more interesting than Qyzen so i'm willing to put up with a bit more work and a bit more risk just so I don't have to use him. Also we are Jedi, surely our Padawan should acompany us almost everywhere we go?.
