I'm no PvPer but i use it alot in PvE as the damage it does is amazing. I presume it would work on players. Do note though that the mob has to be incapacitated. A Project-Tumult combo is quite deadly

Its advisable to go into the Telekinetics tree first for the extra 100 force and lower force cost. However i didn't do this myself i went straight up the seer tree and only after reaching lvl 38ish did i start on the Tele tree. My reason for doing so was to get into the third tier for Rejuvenate and Conveyance asap. Both granting very important mechanics for a healing Sage. Also when i reached early-mid thirties i was able to get Healing Trance and Resplendence. Those two extra heals and two talents work together granting alot of extra healing and in essence an unlimited Force pool. There wasn't many situations where i felt i needed those extra force points, however i havnt done many flashpoints myself i'm mainly solo with a few heroics thrown in so going into Telekinetics first maybe the better option for yourself, it just means you get some nice healing spells a few lvls later. Like the post above me says Bubble-DoT-Heal (interupts and CC where needed) rinse and repeat It may be the slowest way to level up but by far the safest.

I'm full seer specced lvl 40 so very close to getting Iresso. I'm sick to death of using Qyzen tbh his story and personality just doesn't interest me, plus he can't speak basic which for me anyway makes it harder for me to "bond" with him so to speak. I'll be using Iresso soon but i know i'll be getting Nadia after that and as much as a tanking companion would make life easier for me, being a Jedi i'd really like to use my padawan full time. Although i was never in general beta i did hear you could give companions special packs (for lack of a better word) that would change their role to whatever you like. Please BW bring them back.

Did this a few days ago, i'm full Seer specced. I actually found this the most enjoyable Consular instance too date. Yes its challenging but quite straight forward with a little planning beforehand and proper use off cc and utility. With the groups in each corner i cced the sorcerer each time placed a bubble around Qyzen and sent him in to tank the other Strong/Elite while i dispatched of the single trash mob then helped Qyzen out. When it came to the Sorcerer i just sent in Qyzen again while i healed/interupt/dpsed from the sidelines. The three strong mobs on the top balcony were a bit tougher. First i bubbled me and Qyzen. I then ran in and force sweeped sending one down to the ground floor where i sent Qyzen to tank him. I then quickly cced the sorcerer and took on the third mob myself kiting him around. This was the most challenging part for me kiting and keeping me and Qyzen healed at the same time. Then it was just a case of taking out the last sorcerer. Personally I found the last two jedi masters more challenging with theyr'e own unique mechanics rather than the standard ones used by the mobs in Attis and Vivicar was a joke once you knew too interupt his force cruch insta kill.

i'm lvl 40 atm i've used Qyzen since the start and he has been fine for me once i turned of his AoE abilities. I'm half way through Hoth atm so as soon as i get Iresso i'll be switching to him and then like a couple of you have said i'll then be switching to our last companion. As much as i like Qyzen and his undeniable loyalty towards me, i find him very boring and would really like a companion that can speak basic too. PS i'm full seer spec

While more lightsaber abilities would be welcomed, i'll say what I always have when this question pops up. If you want to use a lightsaber more roll a Jedi Knight or choose Shadow as your AC.

Never use Benevolence except in rare circumstances when the lower cast time is essential and you know your Force isn't going to be a problem in that particular encounter. When you have 2 points in the Conveyance talent (third row on the seer tree) any rejuvenate you cast will lower your next cast time of Deliverance by 1 second.

Thats pretty much it, even more so at higher levels. In my experience leveling a healer is the easiest and safest way but it is the slowest. When i'm against golds my strat is; -Shield Qyzen and pop a HoT on him -Send him in -Whilst he is tanking apply all my DoTs and throw some pebbles and rocks -Heal Qyzen if needed and interupt any abilities that hit hard -???????? -Profit

I'm not a PvPer (i'm probably a carebear too all you guys) i havn't even done a BG in the month or so i've been playing. But even I can see the only way to redeem this situation is a rollback on valor.

Yes, i'm currently on the forums posting but i'd much rather be playing at this moment in time. Its 14:50 now shall I log on or will the servers be down any minute?

All specs are viable for lvling, as others have said Balance and Telekinetics will be faster than seer (healing). Me, well im full seer. I chose to do so because i can get groups for heroics and flashpoints as a healer and its the spec i'll be using full time when i reach end game. Its also much safer and i'm more confident of coming out of tough fights (especially the boss fights) alive. But do understand when you do face Elite, boss and to some extent strong mobs you will be standing back healing your tank companion and doing very little in the way of dps yourself, apart from the odd DoT maybe.

I don't actually give a rats arse what you or anyone else chooses to believe. I only came on here for a browse and the odd comment before i go to work and it seems all the pro LFD people are out in force attacking anyone who dares oppose them.

That fighting tooth and nail was just a figure of speech, like you say all i could do was whine on the forums about my displeasure. But if the devs are watching the forums for feedback i'd sure as hell give them some.

I know the devs have said no DF in the near future, but i am kind of resigned to the fact this system will make it in eventually . I just hope its server only and you have to make your own way to the start, not some silly port.

No, the game will just become a giant lobby with everyone just sitting in The Fleet, I fell into that trap in WoW and once i realised how stupid the situation was i quit on the spot. I feel so strongly about this, its one of the very few systems i'll fight tooth and nail to prevent.

Omg i just found out its a Wednesday (my day off) why not Tuesday like last time. I may actually get a decent days playtime out of this game soon because i havn't for the two weeks i've been playing it.

I can kind of see what your saying at least one viable lightsaber attack would be nice. But i'm a healer at heart and always knew i'd be at range 99.9% of the time so i'm ok with it. Also i hate playing melee in mmos anyway.

I think when they add new races they may give a race change option for people who don't want to reroll.

All I want is UI customization and im golden.

Heaven forbid someone actually makes a game that requires a bit of thought
