Combat Style changes

Hey ho,

as a returner  to experience SWTOR, i was stoked about the changes and possibilities in this game. Especially different Combat Styles. To note i am personally still a newby and not really aware of all Classes in this Game. I wanted to enjoy the game in his full potential and got my self a subscription which apparently led to the possibility of boosting a character which came in handy for me as someone that hates leveling even tho SWTOR gives the best leveling experience so far for me. So i went for a  Healer for raiding later and saw that i can get a different Combat Style.  Aaaaaand like a dummy newby i was i picked the Republican Combat Style of my Imperial Combat Style i realized when i specced into it and saw that they have the same skills just different names and icons. Which obviously sucks cause i could have been what ever else specc / healer for different bosses since that's apparently a thing. I red online that there is no way to change that. Which is kinda frustrating, than i tried to contact the costumer service, cause that's the only way to fix it, but got told it can't be changed. And i don't understand why. It's neither a benefit for me to have it reset and make the Quest again or change it in the character file or delete that character and refund the Token. I bet i am not the first one to have this issue since there was questions about it in forums. 

So i would like to suggest either to have a way to get help from Customer Support for players like me that have done such a mistake or implement a way to have this quest done again to be flexible with your second Combat Style which can also cost Credits for example. Don't me wrong it's a very useful and wonderful game mechanic. But for me it's gone useless.

Another way to fix this struggle for the future would be way easier and would bring the Costumer Support only to use for already happened issues. Simply dont give the Character the opportunity to pick your mirrored Combat Style like i picked. As Sith or Jedi you cant even pick the other version.

1. You have been warned at least twice by the game that the choice is irreversible, knowing this you should have thought twice before making the choice.

2. If someone wants to take a mirror class, let them take it, why do you want to limit other players' options?

3. Jedi and sith can choose each other's styles.

Granted, we all make mistakes, and it's easy to jump in and click, this was a personal mistake and not a bug. That's why you posted in Suggestions. I agree with your suggestion that there should be some mechanic to change the second style (or even the original style) class choice. I made the error of not reading well and popped my Telekinetics Sage into a Lightning Sorc. Was funny when I surprised myself, but maybe I wanted to stay with TK...  Even a cartel item like Name Change would be appreciated here.

1, Doesn't matter if you don't know the Speccs. This comment so what is unnecessary.

2. Dont mind if they have the possibility for what ever reason it should be. Don't know why a mirror class is an option when they both do the same but well sounds more like nonsense to me. But there should also be a way to make a change in that decision afterwards for what ever reason in my opinion.

3. Well interesting that i watched the stream on discord of a friend playing a Maraudeur in his Combat Style collecting meditation where all Jedi versions were grayed out.

Dont get me wrong but this is a Suggestion Thread and Forum part. Your post doesn't provide any significant and useful aspect. I would appreciate to not read basicly what the costumer support writes rather having a  meaningful constructive conversation.

yep... especially it will bring more diversity possibility to the char it self. Even a one time change possibility sounds fair to me. Make it a Cartel Item, make it cost Credits or free. Don't mind either. But i think as a paying player there should be a way to find a solution in the long run. I just counted up options in my original post. What will be used for that doesn't bother me. But i truly believe there are many people who would appreciate such possibility.

It requires the achievement(s) for hitting dark/light 5.  Sith origins can use Jedi combat styles when the light 5 achievement is unlocked.  Jedi can use Sith ones when dark 5 is unlocked.

1. If you don't know the specs, wait with your choice until you know them. There are 8 unique stories to play in this game, so there is plenty of opportunity to test out your styles before you start making irreversible decisions.

2. If someone wants to have one class with two sets of animations, that's up to them.

3. All non force sensitive class combinations are available from the beginning, just like during character creation, but jedi/sith must first be unlocked by achieving maxing LS reputation (allows sith to choose jedi classes) and DS reputation (allows jedi choose sith classes).

You are posting on a public forum, you will encounter people who will either agree or disagree which is the nature of a public forum.

BS doesn’t comment on posts in the suggestion forum.  I believe it is because they don’t want to have people jump to conclusions that because they responded in some way that means they are going to do it.  This area of the forums is really for people to suggest things and for others to agree or disagree with the suggestion.

Thats true but besides point 2 there was no further argumentation than pointing out a mistake that was already known and said so therefore for me the rest was pointless. Point 3 was unknown knowledge on my hand but still has nothing to do with my point. It was simply for to say that it's not a real discussion or suggestion. The only reason that i posted here was cause a GM told me to post it here se the right people might see it to kinda quote what i got as a replay from my Ticket. I guess that concludes it and either DEVs read it and think about or i simply life with my graceful 2 different sets of animations.
