Reading thru the previous posts of this thread I see that this workaround was already identified. Not surprised it's an issue the devs no longer seem to be tracking on the known issues list though they may well be tracking internally still. And it seems the utility bar when you mouse over it just provides the value at the time you mouse’s over it, it doesn’t change as the ping changes like the minimap did.
