Zarahemla Posted August 3, 2022 Share Posted August 3, 2022 I was going to play each slot machine (Smuggler's, Kingpin, Emperor, Max Bet Smuggler's, Max Bet Kingpin, and Max Bet Emperor) 100 times each, to get an idea of the Max bet slot machines found in the VIP area of the fleet were worth it. An expensive endeavor as the max emperor tokens are 150 million credits each. I was planning on sharing my findings with the community for free, like did with the First and Second Battle Pass events. Most likely learning that like the battle pass events, it is not worth going out of your way for, and then getting ridiculed by the community for spending my time analyzing the game. However, it appears that the VIP vendors are bugged, as I went to buy the max tokens from the vendor, and bought one max smuggler token for 20 regular smuggler tokens. I used the max smuggler token machine, and got 10 regular smuggler tokens back. I thought that was strange, as when I "won," i actually lost. I went back to the vendor to confirm this, and got the error message, you can't interact with this vendor right now. So it seems my research was doomed. I put in a bug report, and we will have to wait and see if the developer fixes the issue before the event ends in September. I'll keep you posted if I am able to do the experiment. Mongorr Posted August 3, 2022 Share Posted August 3, 2022 (edited) Thanks to a reddit user I found out that when the cashiers at the inner circle are bugged, the ones up the stairs are still working. I'm approaching this event this way, since I already got enough golden certs from last year, so I'm only interested in the emperor machine rewards (others might have better approaches): 1. I get my initial emperors token from normal game activity (currently grinding a FP for a mount drop and iirc I get 1-3 emperor tokens each time. 2. I play the smuggler machines with normal chips (the max bet are a waste for me, since I'm only interested in the buff). 3. Once I got the buff, I play emperor machines. I probably get a lot of kingpin chips from them. 4. I turn the kingpin chips into max bet chips and play them (after refreshing buff on smuggler machines) to get a couple more emperor chips. DRMM Posted August 4, 2022 Share Posted August 4, 2022 (edited) I have a side question on this event. Vulkk's guide says that Shades can be bought now. But none of the 3 vendors in casino sell them. I spent about 500m credits and bought 3 of the most expensive tokens, I only got one jackpot but they give u the other tokens for the emperor bliss slot machine where I was able to get like 10 jackpots or so.
