  1. This happened twice to me. All my gear is 332 PVP gear with an exception of one item -- helm, which is 330. Finished PVP Weekly, got a crate, opened it, got pants which were 332 already. Finished another weekly, got Belt, which was also 332. Weekly crates clearly need to give helm upgrade, which was always the case before, but it's not. Another bug? Am I doing something wrong?
  2. I have a side question on this event. Vulkk's guide says that Shades can be bought now. But none of the 3 vendors in casino sell them. Is the information in the guide wrong, or there is some other vendor that sells them?
  3. Like a poster said above, keep 324 gear. This way you can go to 326 on all your alts much more easily. You can also get tank gear even if your 324 gear is DPS gear. Just change loot discipline.

  6. Did you read the part that I have White Acute Module up? I fully aware of everything you stated. My point was that XP was coming in much faster even with the module up than it was before double XP started. So it's not fully countering the effect of double XP event.
  7. I've been through all class stories multiple times. Now I like to level slowly through Heroics by collecting a full set of armor for each planet. Today the leveling is going very quickly even with White Acute Module enabled. The main cause seems to be Conquest XP or something else that I'm mot seeing. I don't think there is any advice anybody can provide, short of BioWare giving us another module that stops the XP gain altogether. There is a ton of XP boosts, why not the other way around for those who want it?
  8. This is a sad change indeed. Why remove a function that a lot of players seems to have enjoyed and used? I used to use an old Jorgan chest piece (which is a green item) on my Trooper because it was the only piece that looks like that, but doesn't have a back pack. Now I can't dye it the way I used to be able to. Eric, can we get a response? Why such a move?
  9. Found the gloves, still no helm. For gloves you actually have to do an exploration mission given by Major Tyrus at the Markaran Imperial Outpost. Then he will give you a follow up that you can get gloves from. http://www.swtor-spy.com/quests/data-corruption/933/
  10. I like to collect those too. I can't get gloves and the head item. Neither one seems to be coming up. Tarnished items are all bound, so those won't come up on GTN either.
  11. Could we please get a clarification on the following quote from the posted Roadmap: Is this a new level of gear coming after Gold (Legendary) items with higher stats (ie Tier 5) or are these new stat-less cosmetic items of high rarity (ie CM Platinum)? Please let it be the latter.
  12. I have started a new character on the server and throughout the whole week (mostly from 10am to 6pm) I've had low bracket PvP pop only 2 times. Maybe it's just the bracket, since everyone seems to be going through levels quickly, but it was never an issue on Harb.

  14. I've really wanted to switch to one of G series mice from Logitech, but I keep trying them in the store and neither one feels comfortable. So I've stuck with my old Logitech Performance Mouse MX. It has 4 side buttons within a very easy reach of my thumb (3 up top and 1 down) and I can't find anything more comfortable sadly.
  15. This would solve a lot of problems, but it also was proposed before and ignored by BW. On top of all this, to make matters worse they are adding another 100 CXP levels in 5.2 and a new tier of gear. So those of us who are falling behind will fall behind even further. I enjoy this game a lot and have been a subscriber for many years now, but now I feel less and less pull to even log in. This addition of yet another tier might be the last straw.

  17. I just came to the forums to ask about the same very thing. Even though I understand that with level sync it must not be an issue, but if I hit max level by the time I'm done with Alderaan I just lose all the motivation to continue. Please let us to avoid getting extra XP.
  18. This nerf happened soon after the time when they granted teleports to all classes such as ops and assassins because things have gotten crazy. Sadly warriors got somewhat screwed because they had a leap since 1.0 of the game as their signature ability. A proper nerf should've left warriors and properly specced PTs as the classes that still could do that. But alas...
  19. Just wanted to say the same thing after reading Eric's post. I'm not sure how developers don't see the difference that seems so obvious. Even before top level PvP gear was made cheap the lower rank was easily obtainable by anybody who cared. You were still 4 levels below, but had a clear path to the top. If you want the grind to matter set bolster to 240. Give those at the top some advantage at 242, and give the rest the reason to get there. At 10 lelvels of difference will put more and more people off. And no pops = no fun for anybody.
  20. It's fine that there should be some advantage to having better gear. Fine. Bring bolster up to 240 and let those who actually got to 242 have some advantage. But right now like everyone else have said the gap is way too great and that will push all the casual or new players out. No pops = no fun for anybody.

    By looking at player stats in WZs now and looking at their gear the above is true. Bye bye casual and new players.
  23. Don't say stuff like this. The end result will be them nerfing the amount of tokens you get down.

    This is the main question here. If they just set everyone up and down to 232, fine. At 250 it was also fine. Made this impossible gear grind not so relevant if the playing field was level. Now if bolster goes UP and never down all the casual and new players are totally screwed.
