Theron - Nathema Spoilers

Recommended Posts

My frustration was not using MY ship in the cut scene. Why am I flying around in some other ship instead of mine?

I know right ? we have our own ship , that Fugly Gravestone ship and the eternal Ship...and we keep taking a Taxi everywhere :D

Ugh, Arcaan says hi.

I killed him. I got nothing and I'm more than OK with that.

If someone let him live, they got a love shack scene and one in this story.

So, it is right to allow those that feel companions should die get the chance to do it. That doesn't stop bioware from doing what is right and doing things for people that let them live.

That is what should have happened here.

Correct Arcann can still be romanced but how many others can? When they bring back the others then it would be different. My smuggler romanced Koth and has he been in the story since people were allowed to kill him? No. Vette, Torian, Kaiylo, Aric,? When they bring those back so they can be romanced by the ones that would like to do it then yea they can be brought back but so far the only one they have done that to is Arcann so sorry saying Arcann is not going to work since he is the only one that can be done.

They don't need to bring them back at all. They just need to do that moving forward with what they did with arcaan.

Therons story would have been another solid time to do that same trick.

Charles' post from Theron's thread;

... but no plans for them to go anywhere anytime soon, unless it's the result of a choice that's offered.

Look at the bold and underlined part. It sounds as though, while Theron will continue to have a presence for those who spared him, he will not for those who left him to die. To me, that means we're both getting what we want so I'm not sure why you're running around fuming.

For those asking earlier, Theron definitely isn't out of the story! We may not focus on him and Lana as heavily as we have in the past (this storyline in particular really focused on the three of you, for example) but no plans for them to go anywhere anytime soon, unless it's the result of a choice that's offered.

As for the contact info not updating, we've got that one noted and plan to fix it in an upcoming patch. Thanks for letting us know!

Given the first part of his quote directly goes against the idea that he's actually dead then you should easily see the problem.

Charles confirms Theron isn't out of the story going forward but also reiterates "unless it's the result of a choice that's offered". Nowhere does he say that Theron isn't dead for you, for someone who took the DS option. He merely confirms Theron will continue to have a presence in the future unless you made a choice that would eliminate him from YOUR personal story.

Did anyone save Theron, then answer "No" when he asked to rejoin the alliance? just curious how that option might have played out.

My Empire yay! agent did, he's going back to the Empire and knows Theron wouldn't fit in, plus he's too reckless for his liking. It plays out as a little awkward, but Theron takes it well enough, although he is escorted out of the building under guard.

Given how they left themselves such a wide door do bring him back no matter what you choose. You'll just have to accept I don't buy it till there is something more solid in the story.

They made it clear they were the only ones that could do it. So no Gemini couldn't but even then, that isn't the only way to communicate for some so called super spy that apparently wasn't so super he couldn't get me a message before hand.

Lana has been proven time and again to be thoroughly incompetent. I don't blame him for not trusting her with anything important.

And there is no indication that Theron and Lana are so amazingly brilliant that they could develop a code that a super computer like Gemini couldn't crack. You think he should risk the lives of trillions on the off chance that Gemini can't do what lesser droids can?

Given lesser droids didn't crack it yea. It's not like Gemini had some upper hand at cracking codes. Especially ones that only two people in the whole universe know. Knowing that theron then turned around and actually used it to contact us tells me Gemini wasn't a concern.

Then you have screwed up writing that there was no possible other way to tell us sooner?

Like I said. It's a cheap story based on writing for convenience and thats never a strong story.

My sorceress is dark side and didn't romance him but after listening to his reasons, even she would not kill him. If it wasn't for him the galaxy would be destroyed as Odesson was just the beginning. So Theron was actually helping and not coming to me, yea was upset until it was explained the droid was recording everything so in my sorceress way of things he actually helped bring to her attention the threat that they may or may not found out about until it was too late so yes she didn't leave him there.

Even as a Empress you have to look past your pride. If the Order was successful what would you be ruling over? Nothing and not sure about you but my Empress wants people to rule over not corpses.

What I did enjoy on my sage was finally telling Lana to shut up and listen to me finally.

Same here. My char is a sorceress, fully embracing the Dark Side pragmatic. What he did was infiltrate the order, save me and mitigate the damage recieved... My character fry anyone who betrays, no matter the reason, no matter my love them. They simply die. Yet, Theron lives... because he didn't betray, he helped.

My take is that he encrypted that message with said code for the means of leaving a signature rather than really encrypting it. He knew Lana would recognize it, so by using the code he made sure Lana and the PC knew who the message came from. My view might be totally wrong though

As a Sith Warrior , i have been betrayed far too many times from people. My trust at that point was at an all time low.

As the emperor's wrath i was betrayed by Valkorian who wanted just to use me as his empty vessel ,

Scorpio treated me like a mug one too many times.

Theron is a spy, he knew we were being monitored and did nothing to warn us even in a subtle way perhaps by leaving coded messages for us to decript to inform us. But no he took matters into his own hands and if he actually informed us earlier we could have prevented the fleet getting destroyed all together.

I can't have people doing things behind my back. I will not be taken for a mug.

Lana is also an idiot and doesnt deserve intelligence officer because she literally has none, if she doesnt start to prove useful then i might need to dispose of her also and find someone who is actually good at their job.

I now regret not saving Torian Cadera as he was always there for me and believed in me, i saved Vette as we have a history, time will tell if i made the right call on that one.
