White damage goes in, does 0 dmg, reflect animation goes out and that's all it does. No damage reflected. Clearly wasn't a big deal that it stopped working, carry on then. So reflect will reflect "ambush" a white dmg ranged but it will eat an assassin "maul" which is white dmg melee. Bioware changed the way reflects work to stop some sorts of exploiting bosses in PvE. The side effect of this was that ranged white damage no longer reflects, but merely gets absorbed. It's not really a problem anyway, it was always fun to reflect those 40k ambushes but the only reason this would be problematic is because snipers are doing extremely well right now. Luckily those consequences are so tiny that nearly no one cares. It absorbs the damage, just no reflect. Honestly I couldn't care less at this point, compared to other broken things.
