So wheres the QQ thread that Jugs reflect doesn't work against white damage

I don't even care about this monkey leaping business and know about it.

 

White damage goes in, does 0 dmg, reflect animation goes out and that's all it does. No damage reflected.

 

Clearly wasn't a big deal that it stopped working, carry on then.

Read the description on jugg reflect.

 

Tech, force and ranged.

 

So reflect will reflect "ambush" a white dmg ranged but it will eat an assassin "maul" which is white dmg melee.

Have you tried the jugg forums? Since this isn't really the place.

 

For anyone unaware. Bioware changed the way reflects work to stop some sorts of exploiting bosses in PvE.

The side effect of this was that ranged white damage no longer reflects, but merely gets absorbed.

 

It's not really a problem anyway, it was always fun to reflect those 40k ambushes but the only reason this would be problematic is because snipers are doing extremely well right now. If they go back to being "not extremely well" then you wouldn't even feel this change.

But when the tech attack comes along it displays that.

 

However despite no flytext and nothing being written to the log the reflect does happen.

Another ninja nerf to jugg wowee

 

Yeah, it was a ninja nerf for PvE that had unintended consequences. Luckily those consequences are so tiny that nearly no one cares. It absorbs the damage, just no reflect. Honestly I couldn't care less at this point, compared to other broken things.

The shame of that is it would provide a nice counter-balance to snipers and mercs.
