NO ROAD MAP, YET! You were the chosen one KEITH!!!!!!

Well this is not something that we as swtor costumers are not used to, and if by now you thought it would be any different you were just foolling yourself and drowning in a loop of insanity where you keep doing the same thing expecting different results.

Keith, so far we gave you a chance because you have communicated more than the previous dev's, but so far we have heard nothing about the road map you promissed us, and according to you it should be delivered somewhere around this week, or am i mistaken? I thought you said in a post that you would post about the new roadmap within 3 weeks time.

Most players, the ones that have been here for the long run, are just to displeased with your work:

-you give us not enough content with almost zero replayability, for example, 3 weeks after Iokath was launched and only this week i fought a guy on a walker, this onykl happened because we started killing each other, then got pissed and then became friends :D ( i m talking to you vook sanju :D);

- compared to other mmo's swtor content releases are a joke, you said one fp is inbound with 5.3, well.... that is not enough. Ppl here pay 10-13 euros per month to play the game. You would expect that with the amount of profit you have you would release more content than Cartel Market stuff, now understand i m not blaming the guys that work on the CM section, they are just doing their job, but you see your costumers as cows you can milk away freely because we will pay to play this because it is swtor, but you have, recently, lost a lot of players. This is an idea that has already come across me, and i see other games that are appealing more to me. I doubt i will get a response from you, but at least i tell you what i think.

- About iokath.... well it was a good idea to allow us to ride a walker, Tyth and all the other machines, but sadly it came to late.... we have been asking for stuff since revan, and almost 3 years later you are going to give us one flashpoint.... one flashpoint ..... cmon you gona tell me you don't have the money, time and ppl to make more content? I'm preety sure none of you, either be Keith, the other guys, Musco or whoever still works there, think that swtor is going through a good moment, your costumers ask you vehemently for stuff: either it is their companions back (which you completly ignored on 5.0 and gave us none back.....), either it is more swtor related content, areas to explore, raids, pvp maps, story missions, you just ignore our calls...

After this i can say with a degree of certainty that the players won't see the road maps this week or the next one and even the one after that. We were expecting something on the 4th of May, and no news, we have also been expecting something more than that gosh darn reskined droid that you have been forcing upon us the last 4 years....

To sum up, well.... yeah at this point you, Bioware or whoever takes the shots, not gona mention the name of the company.

Chill. It's only monday morning. Everyone is asleep in america. xd

It's not like posting a roadmap will hasten creation of any content.

Besides, for me, there is only one thing I care about and want from the game at this stage.

lokal book stores are pretty rare here.

the gas stations would be the better spot.

i agree with him, but he is still full of hope,

me not. personally i think a roadmap, exept

the things we already know, would be a white

piece of paper, but hopefully not printed, to

save the environment a bit.

Keith tries giving more to the community and he gets threads like these.

Yup. Give that man a chance and give him some credit. He's been playing SWTOR himself so I think we can expect him to have some ideas about what's needed and wanted.

It shouldn't be a three week wait on a road map to find out what the plans are for the next few updates, its 5 months into the year with only 5.2 released so if they haven't been balancing classes and working on new content then given their current track record of getting stuff out we wont be seeing much more than 5.3 this year. Well aside from Cartel Market items each month.

Server are mostly dead, so it doesn't seem like taking weeks to get a road map out and vastly longer on content given the current state of the game is a sound strategy. Maybe Morrowind isn't launching next week and ignoring dead servers and a lack of content is a sound business move.

What the hell is wrong with you, OP?!!?!

I mean, seriously, who the hell do you think you are?

You don't speak for me nor anyone else with your abusive and inappropriate rage. Way to represent the community as a bunch of petty losers who throw tantrums for no reason.

Get a grip, or better yet, get a ban.

He is a SWTOR costumer. Whatever that means.

Keith said we would get the roadmap in a few weeks. Three weeks still counts as 'a few', at least in my opinion. Harsh as I often am on EAWare, even I can't accuse Keith of lying to us or anything similar at this point. Give it a bit more time before you start throwing your toys out of the pram, as the Brits say.

I'm hopeful for changes under his term as lead producer, yes, but I'm keeping my hopes realistic. Corporations don't tend to do anything quickly, after all. Do I wish this wasn't the case and everything was getting fixed much faster? Hell yes! But it is what it is. Keith deserves a fair chance before we start blaming him for a situation he was only recently put in charge of fixing.

The announcement that there would be a roadmap happened on 4/13. Keith said it would be here sometime "in the coming weeks". My guess is that there's probably a lot of arguing going on about a few things - significant pushback against even a vague disclosure of long term plans wouldn't surprise me.

I love how everyone has been brain washed and can be forgiven just because he is new and said he would post a roadmap, damn you are soft xD!!!!!

Soo you just got a ton of **** dumped in your lap as part of a new huge promotion, and you think 1 month is enough to sort everything out and show how you are going to change the direction of the game, never mind the fact that he has to send stuff through other departments first? You are a moron if you think 1 month is enough. And no, people saying be patient is not buckling to the man, it's called living in the real world. You've obviously have never been in a corporate environment or you would understand the time it takes to make large changes.

Can't give details, because NDA, but my company regularly makes large changes in the span of a week (a kaizen is a week-long event focusing on one aspect of the business). One kaizen event I did reshaped an entire department - physically moving all the furniture and equipment to streamline the process, and saved that one department over $1mil per year.

One month might not be enough to implement big changes in software programming, but it's more than enough time to come up with a roadmap. TBH, just as part of their process, BW should already have had a roadmap that may have just needed some tweaking before being made public. But even starting with nothing, I wouldn't expect it to take longer than a week to come up with something.

I'm eager to see it too, but let's not call the poor guy "The Chosen One." That's like a death sentence in the Galaxy Far, Far Away.

Don't you mean a Darth sentence? :D I would welcome that!

Its not the people on the forums being impatient its the lack of people in the game that is the issue. Now a road map buys some time, it says okay we know things aren't great here is what we are going to do. But if its going to take a month to decide what to do and considerably longer to implement then there is little to keep people in game.

Its fair to say people burn through content too quickly but equally the reward is seldom worth the grind, most decent cosmetic gear is sold in the cartel market, while the Galactic Command has made the gear grind rng based and fairly considerable with little reason to have the gear. Its not as if at the end of the grind you can sit back and look out across your achievements and feel it was time well spent. In all likelihood any tier 4 reward will be a blue relic, implant or ear piece.

As for patience this is fine if your telling your child they have to wait, its another thing if your telling a paying customer. Patients may as well read as unsubscribe until you see the road map and then come back if and when something that interests you is released. This though is not a good business model, far better to have people staying subscribed because they want to gear up (or whatever) in anticipation of this amazing new content you have told them about.
