overpowered classes

I'm not saying i think anything is overpowered but im very curious too see what you all think so comment below what you think is overpowered and things that should be nerfed :):):eek:

 

you really could have just read the titles of every other post in this forum.

merc and sniper

 

Correction. Arsenal Merc and Engi Sniper. The other specs are fine as is. In fact I would even say that Dirty Fighting / Virulence could use a buff for GS / Sniper, and IO / Assault specialist could use some help with its heat management.

All snipers are too survivable for the damage they deal and the range they have. They either need to lose some of their defenses/immunites or their damage needs to be toned down.

 

Arsenal Mercs are ridiculous, and healing sorc spec is also stupidly OP.

Sorc heals on the top of the list.

Arsenal merc, only survivability.

Snipers, only survivability.

Mara, only survivability.

 

If you just change the above and buff hatred sins, PT, sorc dps and ops dps, things will be in a very good place.

 

Nerf the sorc heals and buff the dps of other classes that aren't Arsenal, sniper, or sorc. Job done. We then have pvp with kills and all is good again.

 

Maras and ops may need a light treatment, but I wouldn't put them in the same category as the three mentioned.

sorcs heal and arsenal mercs just make pvp really terrible.

 

heal in general is too OP. the debuff heal in PvP must returns or something because it's out of control.

 

Healing debuff never went away. The average skill level of dps players has gone down, however.

The reason sorc heals seem OP versus 4.0 is because every war is filled with mercs and they do not need any healing anymore. Healer has to be able to keep himself alive facing 1.5-2.5 people, but what is BS is when 1-2 healers can keep a group of 8 and each other alive without even breaking a sweat because no-one (all mercs) needs healing.

 

Nerf mercs and you'll see healers fall back into place. For those of you that wish healers are nerfed to the point where you can solo them, you are dreaming and missing the point of healers in group wars. If a healer cannot even keep himself healed much less anyone else there is no reason for them. A good healer HAS to be able to easily out heal the DPS of good DPSer.

They still send to many ranked games to acid. They also armour buff too much. They also can pull 8k hps. Sorc healers are OP. No one doubts it.

So let me get this right. The reason sorcs are doing more heals is cause mercs take less heals?

No, he does not, because when a single healer is capable of that, then multiple healers completely destroys any semblance of balance. One unguarded healer should be hard pressed to keep himself up against a dps, much less keep himself and his team up. Healing should require teamwork just like everything else...a healer without guard and peels should be a prime target for a single dps.

 

As it stands now, one good sorc healer alone requires at least two to three good dps to take down, and he won't go down fast. Add in guard, peels and cross healing, and they become unkillable.

Some of you must be incredibly bad. :p

 

Sage/Sorc, really? There are many players who can solo a sage/sorc which tells me there is not a balance issue, there is a skill issue.

 

I think the issue with sage/sorc is that many players do not interrupt, stun or take advantage of procs, they just beat away endlessly with the same 2 crappy abilities.

 

A DPS who only uses 2 abilities will not kill a healer who is using everything they have.
