  1. I made about 56 million just selling off excess crafting mats. Money is easy to make in this game, and I'm far too lazy to play the market.
  2. I rerolled to SF from SS with nothing, that means no high level comps or presence, no datacron buffs, no additional class buffs, and I am having no problems at all soloing anything so far. It does feel a bit tougher, but I like that....feels more like launch. Not tough enough to warrant all this crying tho, IMO.
  3. I did exactly this, and I'm loving it. Completely new, rerolled on Starforge with nothing (all my stuff is on SS). Feels more like launch.
  4. I agree. It's just as good as the one ESO has, and I've never had any problems with that one.
  5. If someone has all max level characters with max crafts, 7 million shouldn't be an issue. For a new player getting their first character to max crafting, 500k shouldn't even be an issue by that time.
  6. This. Don't buy a laptop for gaming unless it's absolutely necessary.

    Huttball

I'd rather play Huttball on an endless loop all day every day than one single 4v4 arena.
  8. I love the Pyrotech rotation. I don't use the one in the guide, I posted this for someone else earlier in the year:
  9. I spent that much on one two hour movie a couple weeks ago. There is no more cost efficient form of entertainment than an MMO sub.
  10. It's not just SWTOR. Every game that has any kind of sub component brings constant salt from what I can only assume are children without jobs.
  11. I do. People would rather have games driven by cash shops than pay the cost of a two hour movie or one decent lunch for a month of entertainment. I've never seen so much complaining over sub costs as you see these days. I absolutely think gamers are why MMORPG's are practically a dead genre. That being said, when it comes to SWTOR specifically, I can see people not wanting to pay for a game that doesn't provide any content, but I'm talking about gamers in general.
  12. First half was great, second half was just Transporter 2 underwater.
  13. This. I paid 12.44 to see the Meg over the weekend, and that was just the ticket. That was roughly two hours of entertainment for the same cost as a month of SWTOR.
  14. That uniform (at that rank, so exact accessories) is for sale on the CM, has been forever.
  15. I personally don't like GW2's combat. Overly cartoonish sped up animations, and the ridiculous "spin to win" move that every class seems to have now doesn't really appeal to me. It looks like it's trying to emulate Korean arcade combat style.
  16. I like Odessen only because the score is deceiving. I've been on teams that have come back from a 300-400 pt deficit in that wz many times. Much harder to do in any of the others.
  17. This looks pretty awesome
  18. I get a chuckle out of people saying "WoW clone" or "copying WoW". Shouldn't you be saying "EQ clone" or "copying EQ", since that's what WoW did?
  19. I don't think so, unless I'm missing something. SWTOR uses the same mouselook as Lotro, EQ1 and 2, AoC, GW 1 and 2, etc., basically the same as every other game. In WoW, if you're running with your movement key, the mouse automatically looks where you point it. If you touch the right mouse key to look around and let go at any point, you immediately stop moving and have to release the movement key and press it again. However, if you're in autorun, you must press and hold the right mouse key to look around. It's extremely clumsy, especially when you're used to how every other game does it. Unless there's some binding I haven't found in the game that's messing with my movement, I can't get used to that. Makes pvp damn near unplayable for me, constant start - stop, start - stop
  20. Yea, but it's akin to polishing a turd. If you can get past the graphics and the general hand holding through the entire game, there's the godawful controls and the incredibly toxic community to deal with. Even if I wanted to, I couldn't play it, because the mouselook in WoW doesn't work the same as literally every other game on the market, which makes it clumsy as hell to play.
  21. Why would anyone want to kill T-7?!
  22. Man I couldn't agree more with this. TLJ was so bad
  23. I tried playing WoW this weekend and it was godawful. I can get past the graphics and all the generic qualities of the game, but the controls...what the hell? If you let off the right mouse button while running you stop dead in your tracks....makes trying to fight a nightmare, since I'm used to every other game having standard mouselook controls. Couldn't even make it out of the starter zone.
