New Game content Players would like to see

For me it's this, if Bioware are going to continue on the path of one story fits all, I would at least like some class specific interludes, similar to how things were handled with the class specific stuff on Rishi, I mean they don't all have to be really long in my opinion but just a short mini quest that reminded you of your original class.

allow us to bind the alliance from the fallen empire to legacy I'm am not gonna grind heroics on all my toon's to get the alliance companions influence up.

 

i can understand not doing that on core companions but not all the others

They should also bring in animals like krayt dragons (think I suggested that already cant remember though). Another planet to add would be Dxun same with the world that orbited it as well as Telos.

 

that would be cool of them but i thought that krayt dragons were extinct

 

i would like to see some of the vehicles have attacks of their own so that you can us them in a fight

My son insisted that I mention SWTOR needs a wookiee playable race. He won't play until there are PC wookiees.

 

I want some kind of honest to goodness space missions (that aren't on rails). Even if it's just solo play similar to starfighter PvP.

 

I want to be able to take direct control of my companions. I also want to to be able to make my companions use emotes at my whim. /clubdance Kira, /clubdance I say!

 

Mostly though I'd just like them to get their heads out of their asses and do a proper game engine overhaul fixing bugs and giving it a proper optimization.

Id suggest one full proper new operations every year between summer and christmas to get players flooding back to the game.

 

Id also like to see 2 new wz, even just reskinned, twice a year.

 

...also work out what you're doing with fp's. Personally id have one or 2 lead up to the new ops

There're a lot of ideas I agree with and some I don't, my contributions are:

 

Ambience:

 

Day & Night Cycles

I appreciate that this may not be suitable for places like Ilum, but worlds such as Coruscant, or Tatooine, Tython would be interesting to see at different times of day. Could be nice for those role-players out there, too! It also helps places feel a bit more real, adding to player immersion and a change of scenery just helps the place to look less stale when revisiting.

 

Weather

For similar reasons to the day and night cycle, I would like to see weather integrated.

 

Wildlife

Critters, whether hunting them for achievements/codex entries, there could be a lot more of them. They make a world feel lived in. A lot of areas in the game are completely devoid of life and it can make walking through those places feel lonely, even with a companion or friend.

 

Music

More consistent ambient music and sound effects would significantly add to player immersion, whether that be birds chirping, or the animals I'm passing by grunting at one another.

 

Dailies:

 

Reputation

Czerka was something I enjoyed as a series of solo-accomplish-able dailies in a realistic amount of time, Ziost too. I would like to see more variety to repeatable missions, with more enticing rewards for indulging them beyond credits. The four starter planets could be a great starting point. I'll use Tython alone as an example -

 

Tython Reputation -

 

Seeing Flesh Raiders off of the twi'lek village, which could be done the old fashioned way, or by using a mountable canon or such. The poisoning of their crops missions seems like an easy repeatable.

 

Investigate/scout waypoints around tython for flesh raider activity. You'd arrive at these waypoints, deploy your binoculars at a landmark, then based on chance, have an encounter or complete the objective and move onto the next waypoint. It provides a bit of variety, you can go to the waypoints in any order and won't necessarily fight something at the same waypoint every time.

 

Search & Rescue: A NPC at the Jedi temple needs you to investigate a report of a missing pilgrim, or padawan (alternating, at different locations?) Find them and escort them back to either the village, or Jedi Temple accordingly.

 

Liam Dentiri's Combat Leadership quest, droids scaled to your level.

 

Repair sonic emitters that keep flesh raiders/predators away from the training grounds in the gnarls/around the Jedi Temple.

 

Another way to redeem reputation could be to turn in crafting supplies, with a different resource required each day. It would give us something more to do with all that desh! Then the following day when you do the quest, they need rubat crystals, as an example.

 

Those're just a few examples off of the top of my head for repeatable missions. Rewards could be anything from Jedi/Pilgrim relevent decorations (such as Jedi Temple chairs), outfits like Orgus Din, Kel Dor Jedi Master, Meditative Padawan, lightsaber hilts, crystals, titles, all purchaseable through a combination of reputation and credits.

 

I'd expect Korriban to involve archaeology in some form, breaking prisoners, thrashing droids. On Hutta, bounties, a "Simon Says" game with a hutt, where you have to perform different dancing emotes in a quest-only outfit (a feature of the Imperial Agent that was underused.) You could type the emotes in, or have a mission-specific action bar, failing to perform resulting in descending to the rancor pit! Then those who would rather just fight something, can. You could collect tribute for the relevant hutts as well. Ord Mantell could be things like changing ID tags, like on Makeb (for smuggling), the usual repelling of enemy forces from the perimeter, gear inspection, you name it!

 

Holidays:

Life Day's great, but when it rolls around not a whole lot of new content appears. Access to Kashyyyk on a scale similar to Manaan would be sufficient, with a few mini-games or non-violent missions (unless you wanted trandoshans to rain on their parade for one of them.) Limited-time things do draw people in!

 

Nar Shaddaa nightlife's a great way to lose out on money, but how come the casinos are closed for the majority of the year? I'd like to see more winnable items, perhaps drinks passed around that intoxicate your character, with some of the items only being available while in that state. Decorations, titles, mounts, credits, scrap materials, hutt faction reputation are all good incentives!

 

Other Things:

I'd like to see more social levels and rewards for progression. The Party Instigator and things are really good, but why stop at level 10?

 

Earn influence with companions by killing things. The example I read from someone else today is 1 for a standard foe, 5 for a strong, 10 for an elite. That'd be a superb change!

 

I would like to see the family tree hold the capacity to add other player's characters. Friends build their characters around one another quite often and build their own stories. It's a shame that the family tree system can't accurately reflect this.

 

Of course, finally, more operations, flashpoints and warzones would be interesting. :)

 

I appreciate not everyone will read what I've put, or necessarily agree with my ideas and I know that by writing them here, their chances of implementation are still completely zero, but it's been a lot of fun dreaming up ideas. ^.^

key location control: Have certain areas grant bonuses or access to certain things (like linked ops) that can only be accessed if your faction has control. Battles to take place every 1-3 hours for control of said key location(s).

Jedi/Sith Flesh Raider and/or Nekghoul Jedi/Sith Companions.

 

 

 

Come on, don't dangle those magnificent things in front of us and not do anything with them.

 

 

Nekghouls are all Force Sensitive and Sentient, why can't i have on as an Apprentice?

 

Likewise for the Flesh Raiders, a light side Jedi can send one to the Temple to be a Jedi, why does nothing come of that? I want a Flesh Raider Padawan.

 

 

 

 

Also Jawas as a playable species.

instead of an event that makes long time players feel like you hate them hold an armor/weapon concept design contest that the community can vote for to be given away in celebration of the anniversary or something that draws the community together

I'd love to see some gambling style mini games on Nar Shadda. It's essentially Las Vegas the Planet, so why not have some mini games with credits or decorations as prizes?

 

I'd also like to see some more class focused content even if it's something like buy content pack off the Cartel Market for the classes I want.

 

I wish phasing could be introduced to show the impact our characters have had on the galaxy. I'd like to see a rebuilding Balmorra or what progress has been made on Taris.

 

And as much as I know it'll never happen, I'd love to see some old content adjustment for the later changes made in species availability. I'd love to see a Sith Pureblood Smuggler trying to bluff being a Sith to Imperials or when talking to Jorgan as a Cathar that he doesn't act like you don't know the first thing about your own people.

it is the old way old republic, more planets or we can go to the planets from enemies who tend to usually be green unless citizens are active red, for sith yellow guess and has missions in those planets we they can give, not many but some, for example someone in corrupted tyton data from a heroic mission, that a sith give this mission, side missions to do more than think we are playing the same game, the story the fallen empire, that is sought users to the lake of the planets to be make some missions but without being obliged to bring new and summarized in three chapters, as well as the credits if 3 diferents games that the credits at the end of the old republic appear, as if it were the end of a movie, if you to be make in the empire fallen same for the creators of the old republic I hope the next version is like that

que sea al antiguo modo old republic, mas planetas o que podamos ir a los planetas de los enemigos los que usualmente suelen estar en verde salvo los ciudadanos esten en rojo activos, para los sith en amarillo supongo y que haya misiones que en esos planetas nos puedan dar, no muchas pero algunas, por ejemplo alguien en tyton corrompio los datos de una mision heroica, que a un sith le den esa mision, misiones paralelas que hagan mas de pensar que estamos jugando al mismo juego, la historia the fallen empire, que se busque a los usuarios a los lago de los planetas haciendo algunas misiones pero sin estar obligados a llevar a los nuevos y resumido en tres capitulos, lo mismo que los creditos si son 3 juegos diferentes que aparezcan los creditos al finalizar the old republic, como si fuera el fin de una pelicula, si han echo en el imperio caido lo mismo para los creadores de the old republic espero que la siguiente version sea de ese estilo

and catchphrases there, also can carry light saber attacks the basic trooper like the movie, after all the first soldads used swords, katanas and sabers
