  1. We have a slot machine decoration to play, but what about more minigames that we can enjoy when not playing through the quests or the main story? That's pretty much it and all that I feel that this game is missing.
  2. That sounds about right for the download without the PTS. In the case of downloading the game and as it was pointed out to me, the download itself used at least double the space that it normally would, which didn't bode well for my current PC with limited space. This is fine tho, I needed a new PC anyways, so now's as good a time as any to upgrade.
  3. Thank you, I'll be sure to go to that link if I have any issues. True, everything takes up some degree of space. Fortunately my next PC will have plenty of space, so that won't be an issue when I re-download the game.
  4. Sounds good. I'll be sure to do that when my new PC arrives.
  5. Hopefully everything should go well. I mainly got it to avoid needing to buy a new PC for a few years and, because the next MMO's and especially racing games will probably need something higher than my current 8GB RAM PC.
  6. I was thinking the same thing. The last time I reinstalled the game it clocked in at 50-70GB for the game download, but this time is crazy. I've already ordered a new gaming laptop with 1TB storage and 16 Ram (thank goodness it was on sale). I was planning to get a new laptop in the near future anyways, so might as well get it now while the price is lowered.
  7. I believe that you're correct. I'm also no expert on the subject. As an update: I deleted a couple racing games off my PC and had 120GB of free disk space; choose custom download this time and still got a 'not enough disk space' notification. This leads me to believe that in my case, I need at least 150GB of disk space to download a 45GB (in my case) game or more.
  8. I was thinking about doing that myself lately, especially with all of the new games that have come to PC. With 1TB disk space I'd no longer have to be concerned about these kind of issues.
  9. Hmm perhaps. In terms of running the game, my PC has never had an issue, but downloading the game itself had already gone over 56GB of disk storage and was eating up more disk space without even getting to the 50% mark.
  10. I wanted to re-download the game, but not if it's gonna destroy my PC in the process. I have 70GB and can't download the game.
  11. So, you were warned not to push the Shiny Red Button, because something bad would happen, and CHOSE to push the button anyways, and then complained when you got shocked for your efforts. Ok then.
  12. In order of most favorite to least favorite: - DS Jessa - LS Jessa - Elena Dorne - Vette - Akaavi Spar - Risha Wishful thinking: - Created Companion - Shae Vzla - Empress Acina
  13. The Rakghoul Plague is N-O-T R-E-A-L. Do you really think that I care about a pixel plague?, that can do virtually Nothing to me VS an Actual, Real Life, Virus that has reeked absolute havoc on the entire globe.

    Covid 19

If we're fortunate yes, it'll hopefully only be 3 months. If not, the COVID-19 could last throughout the summer, or may reappear come fall season. Not to feed panic or anything, but it's a possibility that I've kept in mind.

    Covid 19

How's everyone doing? Personally, I'm doing alright; I'm remaining at home minus necessary trips to get supplies, playing a little SWTOR when I feel like it, and extending some music to pass the time. Best wishes to everyone and hope you'll stay safe.
  16. In all honesty, I really could careless whether you like or dislike, if I choose to or choose not to spend or save my credits, whether i do or do not take part in the grind, or if I decide to complain about features that I don't like in this game. If I don't like something in this game, I Will respectfully voice my discontent, as well as praise if I Do like something in this game. In any case, whatever debate or conversation this is between you and I is now over; don't expect a response from me following this post JQ.
  17. That's true and is pretty much how I have approached this credit sink since 6.0 dropped.
  18. No dude. You asked why I save credits instead of spending every last one, and I told you. It is also obvious what credits are for, so there's no need for me to bother answering such a question. If You want to spend spend spend, then by all means; just as, if I want to save credits or refuse to deep-six them on the highest rated mods, rolling amps, the repair costs that come with 306's, etc, then that's my choice to make. Also just as, if the OP has decided that this system is ridiculous and that he/she is done bothering with it, then that's his/her choice to make.
  19. I really shouldn't need to point out the obvious here, but here you go: - Want a Stronghold?, that costs money or credits - Want to expand rooms in it, that costs money or credits - Decorating your Stronghold, that costs money or credits - Repairing your gear costs credits - Traveling costs credits - Buying costumes for your characters and alt(s) costs money or credits - Want MK-11 augs, craft 'em or buy 'em, I choose to buy as needed - Want to donate to the Guild your in, credits. I like the Guild I'm in, and regularly donate. - etc., because I can't think of everything that costs money or credits Now before you say not that expensive, think about a new player getting to 75 and having to do some or all of these things. Now personally, I don't have buckets of credits, I have enough to get by and maybe splurge some, but I'm not exactly 'rich' in this game, which means that I have to spend wisely.
  20. Yyyep..., 100k credits to rip out a single gold mod. And repairing gold gear, very costly. The cost of rolling amps doesn't even have a ceiling, so it'll keep increasing per roll until your broke, give up, or try another mod (if your unlucky enough to not get the stat you want.). Credit sink. You know things are bad in a game, if the developers can't even be bothered to give set bonuses for purple gear.
  21. Haha pretty much. After seeing that I would have to go through a thousand-n'-one ho-la-hoops just to complete a set, I said 'not bothering'; after seeing it costs 100k a piece to replace gold mods, 'nah, not doing it', not to mention the repair costs; same for amps, roll em' tell they start getting too expensive and stop. On a sidenote, I found 299 to be good enough to do decently in pvp, not great, but good enough to contribute in unranked, which is good enough for me. In the end: I'm not playing this game to be bombarded by a grind that might as well be a full-time job, I play this game to have fun and relax.
  22. Yep, it's a credit sink, which is why I've held on to my credits. - Haven't even completed a set - Stopped swapping mods, enhancements, armorings at 299 IR - Used limited amp tuning - Heck, I haven't even started leveling and gearing alt's yet, their still at level 70 Bottom line; I refuse to go broke from this current gearing system trap.
  23. This ^. No different than the previous Gambling System that the developers used.
