More than 24 hours without an update or a resolution to this issue?? What kind of half assed operation are they running? It's an Email, not a theory on gravitational manipulation. This company is terrible and mismanaged.

Time to ABORT.

So I checked my spam folder and the email is there. It's titled "Chapter 10 and Firebrand are here - Play now!" Toward the bottom of the email there's a section with a picture of HK-55 helping the Knight onto a shuttle and is titled "Share your Star Wars love with your friends. At the top of that section is the code for your cartel coins, and at the bottom there's a code for a free trial of Chapter 1 - The Hunt that you can share with a friend. I used the code for the cartel coins and it put them right in my account with no issues. Hope this helps!

PS. - I received that email on February 19th, just hadn't checked my Spam folder until just now.

I think bioware is basically down to three incompetent employees; two of which can't even post on a forum in a timely and informative manner.

 

the other guy is busy reskinning items for the cash shop.

Hey folks,

 

I wanted to let all of you know that we are looking into the emails. For starters, here are a few things you should look for. As always, make sure to check all of your email folders, including spam, promotions, etc. The subject line of the email is either "A Familiar Face Joins Your Team - Play Chapter 10 Now!" or "Chapter 10 and Firebrand are here - Play Now!". I know of some users who deleted the email thinking it was just our normal newsletter, but your codes were contained in those emails.

 

Now, with all of that being said, I am looking into a few things:

  • Was the email sent to everyone who qualified.
  • Were there any errors during sending, that caused some people to be missed.
  • Did any other issues occur during the process which caused some people to be missed.

 

I have been going through this thread to verify that users were properly identified. As an example, Mutiny, the OP of this thread. I can see that you qualified for the email, and are on the list of people who received emails. So now I am checking on our side to ensure that users like you were in fact properly sent their email.

 

I will let you know what I find out!

I have not received my code as of yet.. but in my case I figured out why. I had not changed my email to the one I am currently using. (I totally forgot)

My Old account got hacked and instead of messing with it, I just deleted it and made a new one. I just updated my email for my SWTOR account. Now is the question of do I need to do anything extra to get the code or am I SOL now that I didn't realize my stupidity sooner?

 

I received my coins today. Thank you Bioware for the prompt response.
