  1. With so many players that have multiple Legacy Banks, is there a chance of getting several more bank tabs added to our Legacy Banks? This was something we had been wanting before the merger, but now it would be a very welcome addition to the game. Thanks in advance.
  2. So, is this something that's ACTUALLY going to happen or just people SPECULATING that's going to happen? After all the time and effort it took to put the decorations on all of those personal and guild strongholds, if merging servers meant we'd have to go back through, unlock all those rooms, and redecorate all that stuff again, plus have to rename a bunch of our toons. I can see a lot of players leaving for something like that. That's like spitting right in the faces of all those players and their efforts put forth in this game. I know that would definitely be a "screw it, I'm done with this game" moment for myself, that's for sure. If you have all the strongholds unlocked and fully decorated, it'd literally take weeks to go back and put all that stuff back the way you had it. If you think the game is dead now, go ahead and merge servers without making it so everyone's items remain the same as it currently is and see how that works for you.
  3. Starting to have problems on the Jedi Covenant Server now. Just got disconnected 4 times in the last 15 minutes.
  4. Wow. A lot of the veteran players definitely called this one and the animosity it would cause many of the newer players when it did. I'm reading a lot of the same arguments we've been giving BW for quite a while now. I guess all we can say is welcome to the club, guys. It's still a fun game to play, especially if you're fortunate to hook up with a good guild. However, this has become the S.O.P. for many of the "unique" rewards, mounts, and armors you get from doing some of the special events and such. One of the main reasons many folks haven't bothered with the DvL Event...we knew we'd be able to get the stuff later on the CM. So, why bother re-grinding stuff we'd already done so many times before, you know? I mean, it's definitely geared towards newer players. I didn't think they'd release the stuff on the CM until after the Event was over, though. I'm curious to see the stats of how many people continue doing stuff for the DvL Event in the coming months now.
  5. ^ Yes...what this person asked. Instead of chance cubes, putting these back in the packs would be a lot more useful.
  6. This probably wouldn't even be a "rushed issue" if you guys had just made this event playable with existing toons and retroactively completing only the achievements we had already completed in the Legacy system. That's what kills me, most of the achievements are already in the Legacy system. They just added them again, with the extra part of the "event" requirement to it. BW certainly reaps what it sows this past year.
  7. I have a sneaky feeling that the fact veteran players have so many leveled up toons and you need newly created toons for this event, that the backlash will be so great they'll end up having to make this retro-active. Because, let's face it, the majority of players aren't going to deal with all that bullcrap of rolling and leveling new toons, just for this event. I'm sorry, but that's just plain stupid. There's no other word for it. Most players just don't have the time for that kind of nonsense. They're just going to give BW a big middle finger. Seems engineered to just make a lot of their stuff seem better than it is on paper for the big bosses. I hope BW likes vitriol, because they're going to be drinking ALOT of it in the coming days.
  8. I really enjoyed this latest (chapt. 14) and the prior chapter (given, I am a little biased since it's about Mandalorians). The addition of some of Jesse Harlin's musical score from the Republic Commando games made it all the more enjoyable. It was very well done, if you're of fan of Mandalorian lore. Even the Mando themed decorations in the new packs were pretty good, however, those Chance Cubes...whoever came up with those drop rates needs to be dragged into the street and kicked square in the nuts...repeatedly. My only real beef with the entire chapter stems from me leveling up Torian's influence, so I could have a level 50 melee comp for use in the Eternal Championship (boss 6 is a lot easier with a melee comp), only to have them switch him to a ranged companion after you complete Chapter 14. Seriously? What in the absolute sh*t, Bioware?
  9. They have a different thread for it, now. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?p=8765873#edit8765873
  10. Hmmm. Just peeked in again and now it'd showing Jedi Covenant offline.
  11. Same here. First chance to get on all weekend and then got the same thing as you. I was on earlier and it seemed really, really laggy. Thought maybe the computer needed a shutdown, since I hadn't done it all week. A real good cache clear and all. Guess that wasn't what was wrong.
  12. Cool. I mean, I understand he's excited to be my new companion and all, but geez dude, dial it back a notch.
  13. So, I'm trying to get the 1000 kills achievement for the new Star Fortress companion, Hemdil Tre. He works just fine as a companion, but the guy WILL NOT SHUT UP! He's talking while we're moving, while we're in the middle of a fight, after the fight, you name it. I thought Treek used to be a little Chatty Cathy, but geez. I wasn't sure if this was intentional or possibly a bug or something. Just wanted to see if anyone else who uses him is running into the same issue?
  14. Mandalorian Basilisk War Mount, without a doubt. An actual one, though, not the Prince Xizor's Virago starfighter version they called a Basilisk War Mount from KOTOR II.
