Warlocc
I'm looking at buying a dirt cheap laptop to get some things done on the go, but I also want to be able to play SWTOR. Has anyone had any luck running this game on laptops under 500 USD? If so, which ones?

Has anyone had any luck running this game on laptops under 500 USD? If so, which ones? I play on Lenovo Y580 I don't know its price in USD, but I bought it 2 years ago for more or less 500USD (in my currency) Runs the game smoothly on high settings
Tolil
I use an i5 4210M with nvidia 825M graphics and it handles SWTOR maxed out comfortably. It's a 1.5 year old laptop that I bought for about £500 brand new but I imagine it would be a lot cheaper now.
Holocron
You can buy a used gaming laptop around that price (like Asus, Lenovo Y series, etc.), or some new ones that might also work too. For instance, I recently bought one around that price that has a gtx 950m and a core i5, which should run the game fine. Here is a link to the performance of the GTX 950M, and the column on the right shows all the laptop GPU's, so if you are looking at another laptop with a specific GPU, just click on it in the list and it will tell you all about it.
