Achievement : "Kill War Marchall Polarin" tatooine

Hi,

 

I can't find the way to kill War Marshall Polarin. It's indicate that he's the last boss of a zone quest series but I can't unlock this serie of quest... can you help me ?

Sure.

 

You head to Manister Base in the Jundland and kill a Geonosian. That will start a Bonus Quest called Geonosian War. Continue with the quest line and you'll kill him at the end.

As of 4.0 (maybe 3.x), you need to be on the Militia's Trial mission to complete this kill. The kill itself is part of a Bonus Mission to the Militia's Trial. Militia's Trial is the third mission in what used to be the Bonus Series. You pick up the seed quest for it just inside the Tattooine Spaceport. Here's the rundown:

Tatooine Bonus Series

Minimum Level: 22

• Speak to Galen Besk
  
• Defeat Imperial Saboteurs
  
• Speak to Mayor Airen
  
• Complete Militia Training for Junter Galt
  
• Complete Militia's Trial for Junter Galt This is the quest you want to be on in order to pick up the genosian war staged bonus. just killing genosians in the area does not start the quest. I've tried it on a couple different pub toons and one imp.
  
• Complete Water Pirates for Dester
  
• Complete Show of Force for Professor Larcoh
  
• Speak to Galen Besk
  

 

I know this is an old bump, but anyone trying to complete the Champion of Tattooine achievement will run into this, and a lot of the information on the various SWTOR sites is out of date or misleading.

This is an old bump but I am now stuck on this as well.

 

I am currently on Militia's Trial and I cannot get the Staged Bonus to activate.

I tried this on another character (Commando) and got it to work. One thing I noticed with my Sage is when I first tried talking to Vastil, I couldn't. There was not a chevron over his head. I had to leave his instance and reset the mission and then I was able to speak with him. Maybe the bonus not activating has something to do with that bug?

I want to thank everyone who responded in this thread, and I'm including my input as well for anyone that's having trouble with this. I got this champion after literal YEARS trying to figure this out.

 

So important points:

- don't use fast travel points during the bonus series, as it seems to (for me, anyway) particularly bug out the part of the mission that you need to be able to complete the achievement. I even went so far as to fly to Tatooine rather than use the planetary location under ctrl + g just in case that would affect it as well.

- You need the Tatooine Bonus Mission, received from Galen Besk on the pub side in order to get the necessary bonus to kill this champion.

- You can start working on the bonus after you get "Complete Militia's Trial for Junter Galt " but BEFORE you enter the instance for that mission. This is the submission that bugged out for me on my Jedi Knight (that I now can't even get on that toon by resetting the mission or dropping the mission and picking it back up again)

 

I now have the achievement! Thanks again, all!

I wasn't able to get this planet's achievement done before, but the advice given in this thread helped, and it's now complete. Thank you to everyone who contributed information!
