  1. Me as well. If we get enough people to reply they have it as well, maybe this can become a priority.
  2. Doing it on my 'Sin tank. Haven't tried anything else yet, got tired fighting that issue.
  3. I had issues with both as well, and 1 of mine was disabled and hidden via the editor. I got mine to retain what I put in, but I had to "rearrange" a bit to do that. Meaning I didn't just reload it the way it was, that just kept getting lost upon toon reload. What I did was move (example only, I don't remember details after this long with out notes) abilities from QB 4 to 5. Abilities that were on 5 went to 6, and 6 went to 4. Then adjusted the keybinds to match, and moved the bars to the "new" correct location in the editor. And don't forget to save all this in the "Loadout" tab.
  4. Same issue here. If we get more people to acknowledge they have it as well maybe it will be a higher priority issue.
  5. Update to this question just prior to "The Legacy of the Sith" expansion. I'd normally be willing to wait, but I'm being honest with you and myself, I'm in the market for a moddable offhand now, and will forget about it after this. Reclamation Officer Tunms, the level 7 crystal vendor, who ended up being the pre-order crystal vendor, only sells crystals. The adaptive gear vendor, Captain Thanar in the supplies section also sells moddable offhands. Malinna, the specialty goods vendor on Voss, only sells moddable offhands, nothing else. The Gree event vendor, both fleet and Ilum, are the only place to get "Legacy bound" offhand items.
  6. 4/8/20 Still frelling bugged. Trying to get there so I can get some guildies to it. <sigh>
  7. And DON'T quick travel to turn in any of these, it will reset the objective on you.
  8. Thank you for your reply, but like my original post stated, I'm looking to do emotes and "/stuck". Anyone at all? I know a lot of the Steel Series SWTOR keyboards were sold, are there not any left that play?
  9. In the macro builder I'm using the left shift, but only because it's easier to reach while hitting the enter key.
  10. To start with, I'd like to say that I've read the applicable post from Bioware about macros. The ones I use, and the ones I'm trying to make work, are all within the guidelines provided by that post. My action macros only activate one ability per key press (basically giving me more keyboard near my left hand). The text macros I'm trying to figure out are just automating emotes with one exception, and that is "/stuck". I'm not as fast a typist as I used to be and find I'm more likely to just die anyway by the time I type the command once the raid leader has given the word to do so. As noted in the title, I use a Steel Series keyboard, specifically an Apex 350. In the macro builder for text I've tried various combinations, with and without quotation marks around the text that I want displayed/sent. Since I can't find a way to insert pictures <sigh> I will have to do this the old school way, with words *In the text box where the text goes I've tried: /general it worked (with and without quotes) *In the optional text box labeled "start key" I've tried: shift + enter, and / (shift enter being my key bind to open the chat window) *In the optional text box labeled "send key" I used enter *And with and without delays. I'm really getting frustrated with this, I've been trying this for several months but can't find anything online that doesn't call for another program. And when I've asked in guild chat all I get is "macros are against TOS" and then get ragged on by the people that think they know everything. This is my first MMO and I'm totally clueless on how to get this working, any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank You!
  11. No, resetting the mission will not fix it. I tried, re-ran the mission, and still stuck. I've done all the convo's, got the "to be continued" screen, and even have the mission for next chapter that says not available yet. <shrug> I finished it on another toon so not a big deal to me right now.
  12. If I'm reading your post correctly, no, it's not a bug. You get augmentation slot components from reverse engineering equippable items, such as a gun or piece of armor. What you RE'd was a crafted crafting component (what a screwy idea that was), and those only return mats. Also, modification items such as barrels and armoring do not return slot components either, as they are not equippable. See here for a more detailed, albeit outdated, explanation on the subject.
  13. If you can make some cantina tour pack items Legacy Bound, then why not all? The 1st time I received a Carbonite chamber regen item was of course on the only character to already have one. <sigh> Ok, I get it, RNG and all that, but now she has 3 of them! And the Black/Black dye.....2 of them on one character, and I already like the look she has. But several of my other alts could benefit from them. So why not make all items legacy bound? Helps to ensure you can use everything you get, even some of the more common dyes that drop. Thanks for listening.
  14. It's been quite a while since the devs initiated e-mail address checking so that you don't accidently send something to an unintended recipient. It looks at your friends list and your guild roster, so why can't it look at your Legacy character roster? Currently, to have your legacy characters available for lookup in the recipient box you have to add them as friends if they aren't in your guild. And if they are cross faction alts it won't even do that, because you can't add cross faction characters to the friends list. But it checks to see if the recipient is in your legacy prior to sending, so why can't it automatically add ALL Legacy names to the message recipient selection dropdown to start with?
  15. They are now giving everyone the ability to use purple crafted grenades, not just the appropriate level of Cybertech, so make those instead and get your raid group to using them as well.
  16. I agree, they've already taken the crafting of new reusables away from the top levels, so those of us that still have biochem at 450 to 500 and still use them do so only as a cheap alternative while out doing BS things, like collecting achievements or conquest points, things we don't feel require a full strength stim or medkit.
  17. OMG, knowing this would have saved me endless amounts of trouble between switching to an SSD and having to replace my motherboard, both of which required a complete reload of the game. Rebuilding keybinds, hotkeys, and UI layouts for 13 toons.......<sigh> Oh well, better to know late than not at all. And because of the above, I don't foresee having to ever import/export any keybinds, but one never knows. So thanks for that Guys and Gals.
  18. I hate to tell on myself:rolleyes:, but I didn't even note what day it was when I saw this, so I can't claim I was in the know. I just started thinking "Great, another big mount that the cool kids can use to park in-front of the GTN or mail box!", but was definitely interested in the micro and stationary mounts. Well played!
  19. Hmmm, alien log......alien frog on alien log....... "Stopped you have, go you will not!"
  20. The guild I'm in, The Blood of the Sith (Jedi Covenant), runs many things, from 8 man progression to 16 man comm nights designed to help the new 55 (now 60) gain gear. TFB and EC have some good fights that require mechanics vs. tank and spank, and those are good to help teach fight awareness. Not to mention NiM modes are now within reach of more average players, which gives you a new twist on an old, comfortable fight. Don't let the old Ops die out, noobs to running Ops can use them as they level, and anyone leveling a new toon can use them as alternatives to the standard grind on the various planets.
  21. I've been curious, so tried to make one this afternoon. 4 second channel to make it, then the mats show back up in my bag as if I canceled it. So still mysterious. And as soon as you log out, you lose the schematic and have to re-learn it.
  22. Definitely the 3 holostatues and all the re-usable Jawagrams. Drops those on my raid mates all the time.
  23. Anyone can use augments. It requires Slicing to "Discover" a schematic for free. Schematics are just another possible item obtained from slicing nodes and crew missions. Slicing missions can return a schematic for any crew skill, while other gathering mission types will return a schematic appropriate to the skill, i.e. treasure hunting will return an Artifice schematic and Scavenging will return a schematic for Armstech, Armormech, or Cybertech since those are the crafting skills relating to that particular gathering skill. Slicing is a general crew skill that returns, among other things, schematics usable by any one of the crafting disciplines. Schematics for augments, and the material specific to blue and purple grade, can only be obtained via Slicing. Armormech, Armstech, and Synthweavers are the only crafters that can make augments and augment slot kits. The Slicing wiki page can be found here. Yes, you may be overreacting due to a misunderstanding, but we've all done it at some time or other. I make augments and augment slot kits for my guild. Once an augment or slot kit is made, it is available for sale or trade and all are Bind on Equip (BoE).
  24. The available sort funtion, while "decent", could be better. I alway sort by level as that tells me more that difficulty when deciding what to make. Unfortunately, it seems that the secondary sort function is alphabetical, which then makes it tough to read again. You end up with something like: Advanced Reflex Barrel 10 Advanced Skill Barrel 10 Reflex Barrel 10 Reflex Barrel 10 Skill Barrel 10 Skill Barrel 10 I would like to see a secondary sort "By Thread", which would give us: Reflex Barrel 10 +-----Reflex Barrel 10 +----------Advanced Reflex Barrel 10 Skill Barrel 10 +-----Skill Barrel 10 +----------Advanced Skill Barrel 10 Which I find much easier to read, and definitely much easier to see if I am looking for items that still need research to ubgrade. I realize the above is pretty easy to see as barrels follow a linear upgrade path, but it is just an example. If you are looking at, for example, Light Armor, each basic schematic has 3 possible upgrades, and each of those has three possible upgrades. Now the difficulty level just went through the roof. And while I'm on the topic of the Schematic list, it would also be nice if it saved my current sort settings so I don't have to redo them everytime I load a new alt. And not just schematics, that same display box is used for several different items. Thanks, and keep the ideas flowing.
  25. I agree, I also use almost identical key binds for all my characters. Even if I do want something different for a new alt, 98% will be my general key binds so being able to load "Key Bind 'X' " would be a great start.
