We're small, but we have a fiercely competitive ranked community, good folk, and a wealth of players who like to help the community thrive through a variety of events and solid communication. MotherAnimal Posted June 5, 2015 Share Posted June 5, 2015 So apparently I'm being told via Private Message that I should not join the server, that you're all a bunch of filthy liars, among other not-so-lovely complaints. Kinda disheartening that someone is going that far out of their way to prevent a quiet server from gaining another person. Most of the people here who have replied on this thread have been on Jung ma for a very very long time. It's like a family for us, we have our ups and downs but we all mostly get along. I have left the server a couple of times but I just keep coming back to where I really consider home A lot of us have known each other for a long time. Some of us that get along really well now used to hate each other. Some of us wished to leave and never come back but we're still here. It's not perfect but it's home. And I mean really home. It feels like home. You do need to really work hard and immerse yourself but when you do it feels like family. I've been in a couple of guilds and every one I have considered many of those people my best friends real life or not. And while there is a level of competition here, we're very cooperative. I'm in uncharted space, who sort of saved the game for me, having been alone on the harbinger (transferred off of Jung ma with my old guild for ranked, they quit) and looking to come back and find ops. They took me in and have treated both me and my girlfriend very very well. We do a lot of joint operations with vicious/shots fired. 16 mans and they fill in spots for us. I'm in a strictly pve guild but I am a huge pvper. I do a lot of ranked with members of remnants of hope. That's what the server is like. We cooperate a lot interguild. However we all know each other so you have to immerse yourself and get into the community. Come into our voice chats, talk to local celebrities, come to events. As others have said, Jung Ma has one of the tightest, home feeling communities and I certainty invite you to play a hand on our server. No I want to do stuff on this server. My rating went down a ton because I just wanted to play ranked. I don't want a rating that matters, but I want experience and it's really become a challenge to get any experience. I never wanted stuff handed to me, but I just wanted a chance to do certain things. It's unreasonable to have to beg on ranked chat and in general chat for 2 hours for any group. It's unreasonable that on Harbinger I can do NIM DF but literally have asked for 2 months and not gotten to do it. I don't know how many toons you have, maybe you should test the water? 12xp is going, so maybe try leveling something on jung ma and see how you like it. If you want experience show up to the organized Kickball events that the bigger teams that have experience are putting together. All of the bigger teams want more people to get into team ranked so we make the event for people like you who are constantly saying you want into teams and you want to do ranked. The fact that you don't show up to these events and then come on the forums claiming all these things about how ranked doesn't happen for smaller less known guilds/people and call out some of the bigger players for not playing on their alts and have such a negative attitude towards them and ranked makes us mad. Your attitude here on the forums is part of what makes people not want to take you into ranked or into ops. Anybody who was at that last kickball event tried and showed their skills and I would queue with any one of them again. As for the whole Harb raid stuff, that's a bigger PVE server, of course your going to be able to pug stuff there! Jung only has very few guilds who even touch NIM content so its going to be harder to get into those groups. If you want to experience of doing it join a raid guild with a good attitude and make a prog group for yourself. You can't get all these shiny things you want in this game for nothing. As to the OP who I hope is still reading all this stuff, I'm a transfer to this server and it was one of the best decisions I've made. I came during the last 12x but never finished leveling where my friend did and transferred a 15 characters here.. 15! that's how much he enjoyed it here so i figured i need to give it another chance. So I transferred a midbie jug pvped to 60 made somewhat of a name for myself then joined a guild and boom i transferred another character and now I do ranked all the time and am known by the bigger teams. This is a great server and would welcome you in a heart beat like they did to me. I highly recommend at least trying it here with leveling with 12x. Jung Ma is a fun place and there's plenty of people you can meet here and get hooked on the game with. That's the reason why most of us are still here, the people we met through the game. Haven't you just done the same thing saying I dont play? Either way, my intentions weren't petty at all. Just adding some competition into the mix since he can't post here anyway.
